This property has changed ownership and its not the same. Very disappointing experience after decades of memories. I will not be going back and recommend that you find another location as well. Servers dont know the menu, disorganized, and no apparent management presence. I complained about my order and sent it back as it was the wrong menu item. No visit from manager to make things right -- issue left to teenage server to handle poorly. They wont be in business long. Parking lot empty most of the time.

Loved this place as a kid. Took my family in today for lunch and will never be back. When we arrived there was only 1 other group of people being helped and I saw at least 3 waitresses working. After not being greeted and seating ourselves, we had our drink order taken. After that we waited. And waited. Another family was seated behind us and our waitress went and sat down. After she got up and went to the back, and 20 minutes of being ignored, we left her a quarter for her trouble and left.

Ive been coming to this restaurant for 20 years weekly, unfortunately with new management the portions are much smaller and all of the waitstaff that hade been there for years have left. My daughter also had a hair in her food which they replaced but no discount was offered. Also never brought our check. This restaurant was a local staple of ours but we will not be back.

My husband and I had a late evening visit to Venus. This was my first and only visit. For starters the coffee was not fresh, and very watered down. The portions were large, but the food quality was poor. The sauce for their "Famous" fish was the Kraft single serve garbage that was expired, and smelled terrible. I was unhappy with this restaurant, and will not return.

When we came in, the table next to us was complaining because they got their order wrong. I got a cup of Chicken noodle soup that was Luke warm at best. I ordered a Gryo. She asked me what type of bread I wanted it on. My wife frys were cold. She sent them back. They stuck them in the microwave. They were now warm and soggy. It sucked all around.

This place was one of my favorite places. Idk what happened, but the last time I went there will be the last. Worst service Ive ever experienced. Took forever to even get the menu, even longer for our drinks. Sat there for what seemed like an eternity with an empty coffee cup. Ended up leaving before we received our food.

I used to come in here a lot. Will be last time the menu stats you get three side. And add a salad bar for 2.29. Yet I was told I could only get two side and my salad bar counted as 1 because of new owners. Then I paid 4.09 for 11 pieces of cauliflower. Way over priced. And should get new menu before you change it.

My cousin worked here and apparently theres no food truck they run out of everything grease not changed for a week food outdated kitchen very unsanitary and calls His waitstaff dumb Americans so if you dont want food poisioning or to support a business who thinks Americans are dumb I would suggest not to go here

The chicken sandwich was awful. It was like I bit into rubber I couldnt finish it and the French fries were over cooked really hard. I sat there and didnt eat. Waited for my bf to finish and we left never did they ask why I didnt eat if there was something wrong it was awful so gross will never go back

Ordered steak and shrimp. Steak not cooked the way I ordered it. Shrimp was burnt. When I asked to have them replaced I was told I got the last shrimp until the truck comes in. There idea of seasoned fries is to dump Cajun seasoning on regular fries. The only good thing was our server.

1 waitress was pretty much saving the day (at least during our time there) other 2 servers were complete airheads. My Slim Jim was great, but fries were cold. Asked about desert and they were out of ice cream and literally had no pies or anything. Very disappointing.

We went on Fathers Day and waited 15 minutes to even see a server. We ended up leaving. There was a waitress sitting down doing silverware, but yet nobody to serve my family and the people next to us. Sad! We used to love Venus. Way to ruin Fathers Day.

My husband and I ate there yesterday. I ordered the wet burrito with jalapeños and the server brought it out with banana peppers. He ordered the coney with no onions. Came out piled high with them! The server didnt listen to anything we asked for.

Excellent breakfast....even though my order was a little off it was really good. The waitress didnt write our orders...we both got build your own omelets...she did a good job of remembering what we wanted.......everything was great!

Horrible, no baked potatoes, no ice cream and no rice pudding, which are all listed on the menu. And it was hot and stuffy in there. Wont go back there or recommend it to anyone. My corned beef sandwich was also greasy.

Ordered a gyro without onion Came out with absolutely nothing on it but a couple of small pieces of tomato. No sauce or lettuce. Not good service at all. We will not be going back there.

Best stuffed cabbage / cabbage rolls anywhere in Michigan !!! homemade Yukon Gold potatoes tomato gravy crispy green beans , and if you like potato salad homemade ..

New menu lacks a lot of favorites.new menu is way overpriced. Salad bar does not have many choices. Last three times i had the maccarni salad it tasted like old fish
