Ruined our wedding cake. Our wedding was in March, and I was so furious I made a promise I wouldnt write a review till I had calmed down. But everytime I look at our wedding photos Im reminded of the Hack job that was our wedding cakes. All I wanted was a cake with white icing. no trim. no stupid hand drawn swirls, yet I got a cake with purple trim and white swirls. I ordered (paid extra) for a grooms cake with sugar printing on top, what we got was a bright yellow cake with a hand stenciled batman logo. It looked like a child made it, and it certainly didnt work for a grooms cake. I was at our wedding calling to complain about the cake. Granted they brought us out a corrected cake, but took the crappy one? The owner was rude to me and told me that was what I had ordered when I paid extra for the sugar sheet. Our sheet cake looked fine. But I cant get over the round that is in all of our pictures, I could have designed it better...and all I wanted was a good tasting cake with white icing so we could put our own flowers in. Side not their decorating skills are stuck in the 80s. while the cakes are delicious the look awful for anything other than a retirement party. If the owner would fess up when they were wrong and make of an effort to treat her customers well then this could have been avoided.

well first, to start off, the lady on the phone was amazing. very helpful. I did not know any prices and she was happy to help. Second, I needed a cake tuesday and I called monday 5 minutes before they closed and ordered a cake. Very pleased with my cake. It was amazing. It tasted just as good as it looked. My cake was less than $20 and it was so much worth it. I honestly wouldve paid triple that price for the quality I got. And last, they close at 5:30 and I didnt get to the bakery until 5:30 if not later. I called in advance to let them know id be late, they were very friendly and more than happy to unlock the doors for me to come pay and pick it up. Bless them all and I will definitely be going back for more!!

Not only did Central Pastry offer me the worst service I have ever experienced I also recieved a cake that looked like it was made by a 5yr old. Fortunately for me the cake was a "test" cake that was to resemble my wedding cake and Central Pastry made it a very easy decision to have the wedding cake made somewhere else. READER: If you would like a doughnut or a muffin maybe its a decent place to go but if you would like something real made do yourself a favor and find another place to go. CENTRAL PASTRY: Do your business a favor and hire a professional who is experienced in decorating cakes. (not just sponge bob cakes)

The baker created the most beautiful 50th anniversary cake Ive seen. She asked for details about the wedding, and tailored the cake to my answers. The white roses, gold leaves, and gold sparkles plus icing in the style of 1962 cakes formed a truly lovely display. The hostess of our party actually suggested we wait to cut it until the next day so we could enjoy it longer (we vetoed the suggestion & enjoyed the cake). Both cake & icing were delicious. Thank you Central Pastry!!

Best bakery I have ever been to. The cake is legendary but they have everything, truly a very creative full line bakery. Prices are very reasonable considering everything is from scratch and of extremely high quality. They are courteous and have plenty of on-site parking. We stop in every time we are in the area and have them ship to us fairly often.

Cant say enough about Vera and her staff at Central Pastry! Everything is absolutely delicious and the buttercream icing is out of this world! Be sure to try a fudge square! A section of chocolate cake with a huge swirl of vanilla buttercream icing on top and covered in chocolate ganache! Love this place!

This is the only place that you should ever go to get a birthday cake. I have been eating cakes from here for more than 40 years and they have always been outstanding. Everyone should at least give this place one try and they will understand why I feel that it is the best.
