I grew up in this area. I have been eating here as long as I remember. I visited recently and something was different. I consider myself to be a foodie of no small consequence. It appeared to me that the size of the patty has gotten smaller. I would say between 15 and 20%. My 17yo daughter even noticed upon her first bite. The buns were not as fresh as normal. I know that things may appear to be different when you have not had something in a long time but it hadnt been that long and this is one of my favorite things in the world. if your a local, the change would have been gradual enough not to notice but when you are in and out, you pick up these things. I will not return here. after 37+years of eating the wagon, it is a sad day in my life. i will allow the memories I have to live on.

I went there today to try this "delicious hamburger" for the first time. I first asked what kind of meat they used and the employees had no clue. I decide to order one anyway. They take small disgusting looking patties and drop them in some deep oil wok fryer for a bit, then but salt pepper onion and pickle between two buns.. It looks disgusting. I take a bite of it and the some of the meat was crunchy and burnt, and its dry because there is no cheese or sauce or anything good on it.. One bite and I was done. Absolutely disgusting. Go to McDonalds.

When I was younger my dad would take me here in the summer for burgers, I always got 4. Their little with just the pickle and onion and some pepper, but oh so delicious. Now that I have my own car I drive there on my own whenever I get a craving. I live about a 30 minute drive from there but it is well worth it.

Ive been going to this little cart for over 30 years. You get a burger with pickle and onion. No cheese, no mustard, no lettuce, no ketchup, no tomatoe. They finally added canned drinks a few years ago, and also have bags of chips. Im over 50 now, and only eat 3 burgers. Used to eat six!

Was introduced to this establishment years ago while in High School. Over 10 years later, and I find the same great taste and ethics as before. My respect for the place increased after reading up on their history and how they came to be. Always a go-to when in Miamisburg.

The Hamburger Wagon is nothing short of amazing. I can eat 5 at a time and the burgers taste better with each bite. The guy who said to go to McDonalds is a moron, the Hamburger Wagon burgers look and taste delicious and anyone who tries it will not be disappointed.

This place must get most of its positive reviews based on tradition, and the fact that it is unique. Burgers are crispy and dry, average at best, and employees are very rude to customers. If youre not from Miamisburg, dont bother to make the drive here.

This place is a joke. I grew up in Miamisburg the the current owners have ruined what was once a unique place to get a burger that you could at least tolerate. champbronc2 nailed the description, this place is not worth the trip unless something changes.

I personally love hamburger wagon. The burgers are small, well done, and crunchy. Which is delicious. You do not need anything else but salt, pepper, pickles, and onions on them. So dont ask for anything else, otherwise youll look like a tourist.

Definitely some of the best burgers Ive ever had have come from The Hamburger Wagon. They are perfectly fried and are nice and crunchy. The buns are toasted with butter and the toppings are fresh and tasty. Yum!

Been going here since I was a kid...Nothing like these around. And the taste as good as they ever did. I think they could totally open a second one in close proximity to the original one in downtown burg!

It is about $1.10 a burger and you cant eat just one! This is a Miamisburg tradition and these are the best burgers I have ever had! They are starting to get pricey, but you have to try it at least once!

Today is my first and last experience with Hamburger Wagon. One of the young men has two large open wounds on his finger and he is preparing food without gloves. Poor experience, I will not be back.

I dont get the hype! Everyone just dies when they talk about this place. That being said, very nice, if not incredibly simple, hamburgers. And i do like that its a long term local place alot.

Best burgers in town!! A must stop, if visiting the Miamisburg area! These burgers may be small in size but are mighty in taste. Dont fret if the line is too long, its worth the wait.

They are kinda rude. Food is subpar, especially for the wait time. It doesnt live up to the hype. Its one of those places thats a tradition just becaause its a tradition.

They only take cash. I wish they would have mentioned that when i ordered and I waited 20 minutes for nothing. Just get a ipad with square and a card reader, its 2016!!!

Great local staple. If you do not mind a wait. With 10 people in line it took me 45 miniutes to get 5 burgers. Service was not there food was as allways superb.

Burgers were dry, asked for no onion and got no pickle instead, and while standing there waiting for my food had to listen to music that made it awkward.

This place is great. The menu is simple but the burgers are fantastic. They can prepare them quickly and they keep the line moving.

I was a little skeptical, but the line was decent and the food was well priced. Burgers are smaller than I realized but delicious.

Hard to beat pan fried mini-burgers out on the sidewalk. The simple presentation of salt pepper and pickles on a bun is great.

Unique and awesome. The only downside to this place is that the owner likes to come out and tell people where to park.

They should change the name to the salt wagon. The burgers are way to salty, not to mention, very dry. Overrated.

Hamburgers are great but thine line is really long because they are good. "Good things come to those who wait"

Not worth the hype, burgers dry and not that tasty. Worth a try for the novelty of it but will not return.

Part of Dayton history and easily the most distinct burger in town. So delicious and consistent as well.
