My first experience at Chipotle was about 11 years ago in Colorado Springs. I did NOT enjoy it. At all. However, I was pregnant with my daughter at the time and I know pregnancy effects your taste buds. After all this time, my fiance, who loves Chipotle, talked me into trying it again. We pulled into the parking lot and saw a sweet Audi. That was the highlight of the trip. Upon my turn up to the counter, I was nervous and excited. I really wanted to love it. Instead, I was greeted...jk, I wasnt greeted. The gentleman working just stared at me until I spoke. Hi, could I please have a chicken bowl. He didnt speak, just started doing his thing. Figured this is how it works, okay. Finally, he speaks what rice?. I said you probably know better than me, you pick. That must have really ruined his day. He looked at the rice like it was aborted fetus parts. I tried to break the tension between us (although was happy to see he had some emotion, even if it were distain for me) by whispering to him Im sorry, Im a newbie. I got a half smirk! Yes! Developing relations. I should add that Im a server for a very well known restaurant in the area so customer service, I get it. People suck but I didnt think I did anything offensive thus far...except be a typical white girl, blonde, probably wearing leggings... I finally get to the toppings guy. Oh, I love condiments. *sigh* These two had to be related. Is there a mouth breathing stare seminar you must pass in order to build burritos and bowls? Im already feeling like I dont belong here. They made me feel the paranoia of a 20 year old girl trying to get served a daiquiri. I, again, speak first. Um...lettuce, pico...guac.. Hold it! He stops and says in horror thats extra. Dilligaf? Thats fine, the cashier who is already cashing us out while Im trying to load my lunch with delicious condiments ignores me when I lean over and say Im adding guac. Looks me dead in the eye, doesnt appear to understand English or that guac means guacamole...and doesnt add it. Whatevs...I take a couple ones out of my purse and drop it in their tip jar. Figured something, like money, would make them smile, thank you, have a nice day...I would have settled for a #&*! You, Lady! at this point. We take this to go. My fiance is convincing me the whole way home that this trip wasnt customary. Its usually not like that. I get it, we all have off days. Service industry is hard. I decide to not let it bother me that I felt like a total nuisance, an inconvenience, really. Well...my taste buds havent changed, apparently. Why do people rave about this rice? Ive made it at home, the Chipotle rice recipe, I like it. This scoop of bland, sticky icky trash...no. I could have had a jar of baby food with more flavor. The chicken was good. Tender, good flavoring. Was hoping for a little spice in the pico but flavor just wasnt there. Except for the chicken and the fact theres black beans in the rice was the only savior. The guac was meh...but since she didnt charge me for it, cant complain about free. On that note, are they encouraged to up sell? If so, might want to have them peruse that part of the blank-bot-stare-new hire pamphlet. In conclusion, I was extremely disappointed. Maybe I ordered wrong? I said please, thank you, tipped...did I do something wrong? Is there some secret Chipotle wink or code word? Heres the deal, since weve struck out twice, Im going to agree to try it once more. Third strike...you know the drill. Upon strike out, my retaliation shall be: I make a barf face emoji comment everytime one of my friends or family members checks into Chipotle via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Swarm, Snapchat, etc...because thats the only face I have made thus far in regards to your corporation. Sincerely, Angie Gammon

I have loved Chipotle every time I have gone... until the evening of 3/21/14. The chicken was over cooked, almost burned. It crunched as I ate it. The second girl that was loading my bowl never even looked at me. She put very skimpy portions in my bowl, and she did not give me the time of day to ask what I wanted. She tried to slide the bowl to the end when there were 2 more things I wanted in it. The place was not busy, so that cant be used as an excuse. She was totally engrossed in the conversation of 3 employees near the register. The manager came out and my son asked if Lakeland students got free drinks (which is what they were told at Lakeland) The answer was a curt "No." We didnt eat our good until we got home, and it was so bad I didnt even want to finish it. I will go back to other locations but definitely but NOT this one.

This location is hit or miss with me lately. In the past it has usually been a solid Chipotle. The past year or so Ive had a lot of disappointing visits. Maybe they just get too busy, but on many occasions the food has been overcooked/burned, the staff will work painstakingly slow, theyll run out of multiple ingredients, they wont prep an online order until you get there so there was no point in ordering ahead, the guac will be very bland and chunky since they didnt make it well, etc. The Mentor Ave location is almost always great. Definitely better than this one. Being on the corner of 306 and Tyler is a traffic nightmare anyway. If you love Chipotle like I do and have extra time, just drive to the other one. Its worth it.

The best chipotle location! I go out of my way to avoid the Willoughby store (which is god awful and slow) just to come to the mentor location. The staff is always friendly and fast. You never have to wait long and the food is always full and fresh! ONE time, I came in 15 mins before closing and they had run out of rice....I have a special needs child who loves chipotle, so I told the manager I promised her, so I was gonna get it anyway. Well I went ahead and ordered our family meals without the rice, and the manager felt so bad, he took care of the meals for us! Great customer service and the best location all the way around. Id give more stars if they were available!

Ive been doing a lot of exploration in Lake County and am always happy find good food in my travels. Chipotle is one of my favorite chain restaurants but many locations are plagued by long lines and horrible wait times. This one though, the last three times I have gone in ( twice around dinner time, the other around 4 45) there has been little to no line. The people are friendly and quick, the cooks do a great job. Im sure there are times where this place gets too busy to handle, as the parking lot is super small, Im sure it could fill up quickly.

Workers were rude, and fighting with each other. Then, they messed up my order and the people before/after me. All the orders got mixed up, then she threw away my food and made me order all over again. Then put poor portions of food in my bowl. Cashier was cranky and messed up my total. It was all a mess! Then as we were sitting down eating, the worker was putting up a chair and hit my friend in the back, didnt even say sorry.
