Panera in Mentor is HORRIBLE, dont waste your time or money walking in there. I entered and was immediately attended to for my order, I was at first, Impressed. However, that quickly went away. I ordered a smoothie. The girl had me step aside and wait. I patiently waited for her or anyone to make the smoothie but to no avail. Other employees kept asking to take my order and I repeatedly told them I was awaiting my order. After 10 minutes of waiting I re-approached the original girl and asked her about my smoothie. Her response was, "oh". Thats it. I then went to another employee, showed my receipt and asked if anyone there could make my smoothie. This girl started to make it then got distracted. 5 more minutes later I asked another girl to make the smoothie in which she complied. Customers should no have to stand there and wait 20 minutes for a 60 second smoothie. I will never return to Panera due to their poor service.

My friends and I ordered breakfast for rapid pick-up. We put in the order to be picked up 15 minutes from when we ordered it, but the order was still a few minutes late and, by the time we got home, the sandwiches were completely cold (we only live 5 minutes away). The food had clearly been sitting there for a while. Whats more, I paid extra to put avocado on my sandwich, which was a huge disappointment! The avocado wasnt ripe at all; on the contrary, it was very hard to bite through...anyone who ever eats avocado knows how disgusting that is! My turkey sausage was cold, and the eggs were soggy and flavorless. The yogurt in my friends parfait was also very watery. Extremely disappointing!! I would not recommend going here -- total waste of money! Other Panera locations in the area are much, much better with employees who actually care about customer service!

I always heard about this place and how nice it was. Well I got a gift card to go there and I was totally disappointed. When you first get in its sort of confusing what you are supposed to do. Once you see the prices you think its pretty pricey. So we expected the meals to at least be big and tasty. Nope. After waiting longer then we thought we would have to, my "soup" came out and was smaller then a cooked Ramen soup. It wasnt super terrible but it really had no flavor. My guest ordered a sandwich and said it was ordinary and bland. The place itself has some dirty areas in it and everyone (from staff to customers) seemed to be rude. Not sure if its one of those "hipster" type places but it felt like one and we felt out of place. Only gave it 2 stars because we used a gift card and didnt waste out own money.

Wont let me post with less than one star - very disappointed! Hardly anyone in the place and only one couple ahead of us. We all waited forever to be acknowledged and have our orders taken. The girl at the counter didnt know much about the menu. Then it took close to a half hour for our meal - because they were waiting for plates! Weve never had such poor service at any other Panera weve been too. At least our food was good.

The food and service was awesome but the restaurant itself was dirty especially the bathroom. I went to change my son and I pulled down the changing station and it was absolutely unsanitary. I understand people can be messy but that thing looked like it had never been wiped down. And the bathroom was just as dirty and gross. Its a small bathroom so it makes no sense as to why it would be so gross and dirty. Keep it clean. Ew

I used to love coming here when they had the Smokehouse Turkey Panini and since they took it off the menu, I have not found a sandwich to replace it. Today I got the TurkeY Avocado Blt and it was the worst! I was told it was served warm and it was cold and fell apart before I could even get it in my mouth! The bread was soggy and the soup was not even hot! Everything literally falls off the bread. Huge disappointment!

Wednesday 10:20am. The air conditioning was way too cold!!! I heated up my cinnamon roll, made my coffee, sat down and it was cold already. Had to heat it up again. Out if the coffee i liked, but after waiting for it to brew, i knew it was fresh! (And good) Always signs for help wanted. I think this location is poorly managed. I prefer the other Mentor location.

usually have had good experiences with this place, however I visited them December 22nd at 9:37am and my cashier was this woman named "Lisa" in a Santa hat. She treated me like a piece of scum, scowled at me, and even seemed angry. I dont know how a single woman could in 3 minutes undo 2 years of Panera loyalty, but she managed to. I wont be going back!

Once again my order got messed up. Ordered pick 2 and another full size salad...simple. shoulda checked it before going home. Pick 2 ended up being just a half salad...with incorrect i gredients. All this after waiting for almost 5 full minutes before an employee came up to the counter to take my order in the first place...really? REALLY?

Had to use bathroom and drop a deuce and someone shat all over the seat. Mentioned it. Waited. Waited some more for someone to clean it so I could do my business but no one cleaned it. So said screw it and used womans rest room and left. Ew.

one person actually doing job 5 or 6 standing around looking at the line of people waiting to order, was not even greeted at counter, not attended to after 10 minutes of waiting, ended up walking out and going to melt, much better food and service

Good food slow service there was 6 or 7 people working last time I was there. But had to wait 5 min or more for someone to take my order. Then waited another 10-15 min for my food. It shouldnt take that long to make a cold cut sandwich.

Stopped in at this Panera on a bus trip with a large group (20 people). Received excellent service! Cheerful, accommodating, and the staff even threw in extra food for free for our bus driver. Highly recommended!

Paneras food is excellent quality but be prepared to pay for it. It is a little pricey for soup, salad & sandwiches. You can get a .99 pastry with a meal purchase & beverage refills are free.

Overpriced food. Tiny cup of soup was lukewarm and a bacon turkey sandwich had a quarter slice of bacon. I also had a dirty knife on my plate when I received my food.
