My wife and I went here while visiting some family on a short vacation. We saw some pictures on Google and decided to check it out because the food looked authentic and the atmosphere seemed nice. It definitely lived up to our expectations. While it has become status quo to have ground beef and and yellow cheese in our tacos in the US, its simply not authentic for true Mexican tacos -- good meat is the key to a good taco. I got the taquitos and my wife got street 3 tacos (2 carne asada and 1 Al Pastor). The street tacos were awesome! The carne was THE most tender and smooth Ive ever had in a taco and the taquitos were fried just right. We were impressed with the quality of the food. The atmosphere was also very nice -- very clean and new, with some good designs that break away from the usual Mexican restaurant. The prices were a little high, but I think you get what you pay for at El Rancho Nuevo. If you want authentic Mexican food, I can easily recommend this place.

My friend and I went there for lunch on our third visit - the past two were terrific, and the food was just as good this time around. The problem was the service. Our waiter disappeared after messing up an order, we had to flag down a manager who then also disappeared, and then nothing. Literally nothing. I ate, friend returned the food once the manager came around to bring us our checks (first time anybody checked in...), and although having tasty food the service was so atrocious that I really dont see myself ever spending money here again. Mind you, this was not a busy afternoon - it was 3-4PM on a Saturday, and the place had maybe four or five tables out of the myriad of tables there that were actually taken. Extremely disappointing as I like the food and atmosphere but if that is the kind of service one can expect, then you may want to take your business elsewhere.

We were coming home from a long weekend trip. Tired and hungry we pull off the highway. Not knowing are way around and looking for a nice meal at a decent price for a quick dinner, we decided to give this restaurant a try. Glad we did! Very attentive service from the time we walked in. Nice clean upbeat atmosphere. Food got to us very quickly and tasted great.

The service and food is really good and the top-self margaritas are very tasty. I think the prices are a little higher than competitors in the area but, since everything is consistently good, I happily continue to go back.

Wonderful service, amazing food. Get the fish tacos and the fiesta nachos. Best nachos my friend and I ever had; we were both blown away!! Oh, and check out the bathrooms. Mouthwash dispenser was a class act bonus!
