My husband and I ate there several times. Their food is somewhat home cooked and my husband likes it better than I--the reason being I love fried oysters and both times I ordered them they were prebattered and frozen. They were exactly like the frozen ones I got from Sams club. If you want really good and fresh oysters go to Windward Passage. Otherwise Portside is good for fast every day home cooking. We have never seen critters :) Prices are reasonable.

Usually I have no complaints. The food is awesome and I never have a complaint on the food! The last few times Ive been to the diner there has been no clean tables available, service has been very slow, Waitress not friendly and/or in a rush. Last visit, we were only asked once if we need anything and it was the cook whom asked not the waitress. Awesome food, but service needs retrained or replaced!

Menu is horribly written and deceiving and the waitress proceeded to give me an English lesson on the coma once we received our 26.00 bill that we print ally thought was going to be 18.00 . The biscuits are mushy and food is bland . They are rude and Ill never ever come back here ever again ! This place doesnt deserve my money . #trashy #gotowafflehouse

Ive had a couple dinners here and were good. but 99% of the time I come for the breakfast. The sausage and there homade home fries are really good. You wont get anything like that at a Bob Evans or any other type of country decor chain. And the prices are only about 60% of what you would pay for a meal at those type of places. That works for me

I discovered Port Side Cafe in the fall of 2012 while looking for a new place to eat and returned several times since then. Good food, priced right! Its a down-home greasy-spoon type of restaurant. Make sure to try a slice of one of their homemade pies after your meal, you wont be disappointed.

We had eaten here coouple times a week for several months, and loved it, until one evening we were eatingb our food and a roach came accross the floor, the waitress stepped on it and leftbitn lay there while we were trying to eat....I will never eat there again

This is a little hidden gem just south of Columbus on 23 S. This was a western omelet I has today. The food here is comfort food. Breakfast is always slammin no matter what you order! Check em out people

Had the all-you-can-eat fish one Friday, long ago. One piece was half frozen. Nice, friendly place. Id make sure its cooked right, though. Pie was good.
