Horrible experience. We were here on a Saturday night around 10pm for a late dinner with my husband and another couple. Sat out on their patio because they had live music. Took a while for the waiter to come get our drink orders, (they were not busy...maybe 5 out of 10-12 other tables outside had patrons) ordered a round of beers first, so far so good. When he came back later to see how we were doing we said we were ready to order. He replied that its not a good idea to order any dinner, that the kitchen has had a busy, hectic night and would not be putting out a good meal. When he saw we were not happy about not being able to get dinner, he then said it would probably be a better idea to order appitizers. So we did. I thought it was a bad excuse, HELLO, the kitchen is there to put out food to keep the place going...the cooks cannot just not feel like making a meal after a busy day...that is what they are there for, we are paying customers and the kitchen is not closed yet!!! After taking our orders, came back with a big stack of napkins and said they were out of plates, wed have to make-do with these! How can you be out of plates!!! Maybe they didnt want to do dishes... So we got our appitizers, the chicken wings were incredibly dry, on their way to beef jerkey, and a quesidilla was soggy and very greasy, could not even eat it. We got hummus which was actully okay and some calamari which was also okay. We had good expectations of this place and thought itd be a nice dinner but we were so wrong, will never go back!

The service was horrible, drink orders were wrong then was assured my drink wasnt mixed with diet, but told others had been complaining about it all day by the waitress who did not warn me when I ordered it, half our meals didnt come out til after the rest of us had finished, the kitchen made a mistake brought us a second appetizer we did not order told them we hadnt ordered it and they told us not to worry about it to keep it, but then tried to charge us for it, complained about having to do separate checks, took our cards to cash us out but then walked around taking other orders and such while our cards sat God knows where over all this was a terrible start to the Bachelor party and I will not be returning or recommending to others, the food was absolutely wonderful, when it got there.

My wife and I were visiting from NYC and met friends for dinner. It was by far the worst dining experience we have had in recent memory. Our server, lets call her "L" could have cared less about waiting on us. She was incredibly rude, got 2 dinner orders wrong and the appetizer came out with the bill. Everyone in our party had all waited tables in the past for years and understand the nature of the business. There is no excuse for the lack of service other than a bad attitude and poor communocation skills. I never feel compelled to write a review but this is an exception. That will our last trip to the restaurant and our local friends feel the same. In addition I was contacted by " John Smith" and asked to not use her name as she could lose her job. This place is a joke!!!!!

Came here for restaurant week and was disappointed. The service wasnt that great and the food was just ok. While I understand they have a "seat yourself" sign, I was not even acknowledged by the staff while I stood waiting for about 5 minutes for my date to park the car and join me. The Irish coffee we ordered came out almost cold, and I wasnt a fan of the processed-cheese tasting dip that came with the soft pretzel appetizer. The pretzels themselves were very good, and my date enjoyed his fried fish, but the house-made chips were not cooked evenly and I had several on my plate that were pretty much raw potato slices. We were also charged extra for asking to replace the horseradish sauce on my burger with mayo. We will definitely not be returning.

Food was excellent,service however ruined the experience.Our servers name was Kali and I only know that because it was on the receipt. She never introduced herself, let alone said more that what was needed.It was very difficult to get her attention because we hardly ever saw her. Drinks went empty, silverware wasnt delivered until after food had arrived. We were seated upstairs and could see her downstairs talking to others and on her phone. It was so frustrating to need something and not be able to ask for it.We will definably come back for the great food and extensive beer list,but will however request a different server.

Summer 2017- we went on a Wednesday night. They were having a special on burgers, only $4. The food was good but they were so busy it took 45 min to get them. The bar tender was amazing. He kept everyones drinks full even the non alcoholic ones. Besides it being so busy the worst part was there was no hostess. So we had to seat ourselves... Which would have been fine if there was available tables. Im heavily pregnant I didnt appreciate having to go outside to the patio, to the upstairs, to the downstairs only to discover the only place to sit was at the bar. There was honestly not anywhere else to sit.

Monday night is Fish night and we finally got around to visiting Brazenhead. The food was good - the fish melted in your mouth and the batter was barely noticable (but delicious). The "chips" are american chips, ala crisps, not irish chips so I was initially disappointed but they were really crisp and delicious. The slaw was not to my liking though - very creamy and spicier than I was expecting. Overall the food was good, but the service was very slow - the place wasnt that full or busy but we had to wait ages to get served, drinks refilled etc. Id hate to be their on a busy night.

First time there. Good selection of beer and food was good. Service was almost a joke. No joke that we waited 10 15 minutes with an empty glass hoping our waitress would appear on multiple occasions. At one point I got up to refill our drinks at the bar and she talked to a customer for 5 minutes instead of asking if she could help. It was not busy and I seriously could not believe how ignored we were. At no point was the staff mean or rude but just simply did not care about providing any type of customer service.

Not the Brazenhead it used to be or Dublin deserves. Not crowded for a saturday at 6:30 pm, waitress could care less we were there, lazy attitude; ee waited 15 mins to place a drink order; she took the drink order of the table next to us who came in after us and delivered their drinks right away, blamed our drink delay on the bartender, we left. Found out from a nearby establishment Brazenheads management changed 2 years ago, poor leadership. It shows. Disappointing for sure.

Saturday 3/25 Started with waitress spilling someone beer on our table... She didnt even clean it up. Had to get our own utensils, only one round of drinks ever made it to the table, even though we ordered twice. People were not being served anywhere... We even had to ask for our bill.... People were leaving since there was no service...... Never go back again !!!!!!! Im sure others will do the same....... One star was checked due to having to......
