Too long, didnt read: This place is awesome, great beer, delicious pizza, fantastic service My husband and I decided on South Park Tavern for dinner on Friday. I was excited to check out their craft beer selection I had heard about, not to mention sampling the reuben pizza a friend of mine mentioned to me. I picked Fat Heads Bumble Berry Honey Blueberry Ale, which was excellent! My husband tried Lagunitas Lucky 13 Mondo Large Red Ale, which was also delicious. We decided on the Candi Girl Fries for an appetizer and grabbed a medium Reuben on white crust. Its very cool that they give an option of white or wheat crust for pizzas. The fries were awesome, a great size portion for the price. The reuben pizza was better than I imagined it could be. Im very impressed and I look forward to sampling the rest of the selection of gourmet pizzas in the future (next up will probably be the gyro pizza)! Best part: Our server, I think her name was Leia, was wonderful! She was perfect at checking on us and seeing how we were doing. She is a great asset to South Park Tavern!

Great pizza, even better wings. Sandwiches are great if thats your thing. Highly recommend the fried green beans. Best place near downtown Dayton to relax and get a pint and some dinner! The service isnt exactly slow but if youre in a rush either a) tell your server when you sit down that you have some plans right after dinner or b) go somewhere else. Its part of the charm to sit and relax. On top of the world class beer selection of 20 taps, they also have bottled beers that are priced decently. They do fill growlers but its quite expensive compared to other places. Be warned they do close earlier than their posted hours on Google most nights. Ive yet to see them stay open until 1-2AM after going here for a couple years.

After the rave reviews we decided to pick it as our "Saturday afternoon lunch". I was not impressed, and neither was my boyfriend. Waitress set us down with our menus, but did not come back for 20+ minutes. We had to ask someone else to refill our drinks. Did not come back again for refills until 45 minutes in. Ordered a Cajun chicken, it was bland and tasteless. Boyfriend ordered the chicken cordon bleu. Menu said bacon, there was no bacon on the sub and the sub was dripping, and I mean DRIPPING wet with this too-sweet dijon mustard. Fries were not crisp. Cheddar potato soup was good, sort of southwesterny, but the potatoes were cooked to almost complete mush.

Came here for NFL Sunday since they are one of very few bars around with the NFL Sunday ticket. Nice selection of beer with 18 rotating taps. They only had one server working the whole time (a couple others helping out occasionally) but she was hustling and even though it was pretty crowded no one seemed ignored. We got some wings which were pretty good and came out quickly. Good atmosphere with a way better crowd than the Oregon District. I recommend getting there a little before the game you want to see starts to get a seat as it filled up pretty well. I will be back next week.

This place is sort of hard to find unless you know what you are looking for. The parking is in the back and its got a small lot. I believe there is an outdoor patio, but I visited in the winter so it was closed. Ive passed down the street many times without realizing there was a bar there. Its got a decent selection of imports and the pizza is pretty good. They have bands on the weekends but without the bands its a nice place to have a pizza, beer, and enjoy time without a lot of loud background noise.

Definitely one of the better places in the city of Dayton. Good food, great beer and often have live entertainment. Service is usually good and employees have always been friendly. Other customers are usually friendly as well. Outdoor seating has a very relaxing and comfortable vibe. Great place to spend an evening or have a quick beer. The only downside is that they dont serve hard liquor, so sometimes I cant convince the group to go if anyone is not a beer or wine drinker and wants a cocktail.

Good Pizza, good atmosphere, good music, and GREAT beer selection. If you like craft beers, South Park has a great rotating draft selection, and their prices cant be beat. Chappys has a better and bigger selection in town but the same beer will be 20% cheaper at South Park. The staff has always accommodated my wife and I when weve come in to watch a specific sporting event, and theyre always willing to put the right game on!

Pizza is good but some dough issues. First pizza ordered came out burnt and too many bubbles so asked for a replacement after some rude comments from the waitress. Second pizza came out better but half of the pizza was burnt other half was good. Came down to poor dough stretching. (too thin in spots) I will give them another chance tonight might have just been a bad night for their dough.

Great place. Families come and it has friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Theyre always experimenting with new toppings for pizzas.. Tried the Ghostlight Asian and found it was over the top strong on ginger but Ill give the chef "A" for effort. Its a "New" Pizza where there are many tried and true Gourmet favorites. Lots of creative pizzas to try again. Ill be back again and again.

Weve been here numerous times for the good pizza and craft beer selection. We liked this place until tonight. The male bartender was mouthy, cocky and arrogant when we politely asked him for the audio for the Bengals/Steelers pregame. Too bad. Ive spent a lot of money here but not again. Ill take my business where customers are treated with respect.

Four stars on beer selection for this small place. Pizza is on the creative side and there are several selections to choose from. Their emphasis is on having a great beer selection though...which for the area, is a great gem! Clean place, and very helpful, friendly staff.

Cool place but I give it a three because I ordered their pizza and it was too cheesy with little sauce. Maybe it was the cook. If you order pizza from S.P.T, I would suggest you tell your waiter less cheese and more sauce just in case (thats if you like it that way.)

This place has an excellent selection of beer, pizza, chicken wings and subs. They have a great social atmosphere, sexy staff, and occasional live music from touring bands. If you want all of the above, without the typical bar drama, this place is for you!

I live 2 blocks away and waited 2yrs to step a foot in the joint and I waited too long. They have a wide selection of beer and a great menu. I love this place. Great staff and atmosphere. Try the fried green beans you wont regret it.

This place is pretty much awesome! Great laid-back atmosphere with a large selection of exotic beers on tap! My girlfriend and I come here once a week! Awesome homemade pizza as well! Definitely a place to try out and revisit!
