Walked in waited almost 20 min for the bar tender to show up and ask what I want never asked if I was hungry or wanted a menu so I wanted to see how long it would take for her to ask me if I was going to order something after first beer waited another 20 min for the second and they use same glass not a new frosted glass then after an hr I asked for a menu because I didnt want to wait any longer then she tells me the kitchen is closing down she will ask I said never mind just give me my bill you would think if someone sat down and the kitchen was closing in a little of an hour they would tell you so you could order this is the only bad review Ive ever given and I still tipped her for the two beers because she seems that bad at her job and I felt sorry for her how this place has stayed in business is incredible Ill never go there again

All the reviews about greasy fries are BS!! We had the fries - DELIGHTFUL! Hot and scrumptious. We also had the sauerkraut balls. They were REALLY tasty. I eat pretty clean, and I must say that this place serves the BEST fried food around. Service? Let me say that if you are an egomaniac, you might put your ego in your pocket. The servers here are genuine, hard working people who actually connect with customers. Watch them work. Its amazing what they can do in an hour. We are not local. Not going to matter tomorrow. But the service we got was warm, efficient, and helpful. I think we found a new friend in Katie! Good people!! ( dont miss Trivia Night on Wednesdays!)

Great place to escape from fast pace of life laid back ice cold beer great food!!! Beautiful old town by the Ohio River. I never expect to see people or friends there but I allways do its funny. I love the place. It was great to see Mary Ann and Charlie Knapp there. I love them and have been friends for a long time!!!

I ordered the fish. At first bite, it was delcious. Then i realized, it was not cooked all the way through. Our waitress got busy and never returned to our table. So I never had the chance to tell them.

Horrible, I would not waste your time and money. Service is awful and food is worse, if thats even possible. Avoid if you are not a local or family. Those are the only customers they acknowledge.
