This is the most disappointing one star review Ive ever left. I originally had this as a solid five star and here is my original review from a year ago: "The bacon wrapped dates are a must. The traditional shepherds pie is good choice and of course the selection of draft brews provide for a quality evening. Overall its a great place for a nice meal and beverage." Now flash forward to last week (August 2015). I go to order the dates at the Atlanta location and was informed they didnt have them anymore. Thinking this was surely a stock issue or some kind of trick, I asked Daniel to elaborate and he said "they updated the menu and they didnt make the cut". They did indeed update the menu and expanded it, but instead of keeping the best thing going, they removed it and added a bunch of other standard fare crap bar food instead. The upper management really screwed up on this one. Ive spent a ton of money at the Pub and recommended it to countless friends. Every one of them to a person could not believe how good the dates were. Also, the music was turned up significantly louder than usual with some terrible music. The beer is still good. The staff is still friendly... But removing the dates, junking up the menu, and blasting crap music has not only changed this to a one star review, but I will never go to the Pub again until this is fixed. FYI, I go to Pub locations all over the United States as I travel for work, so no more business dinners and lunches there, and no more recommendations. Please fix this and let me know when you do so I can come back to my favorite restaurant.

Worst experience ever last night walk in Hostess just stood there and looked at us for like 2 minutes then finally said oh is there two of you? Duh we stood at the front door for 5 minutes while they looked at each other on whether we got seated or not, our waitress never brought us any water took her forever to come back after our food was served our mouths were on fire from the food all we had was an alcoholic drink, went to the bar after our meal and stood for 20 minutes trying to get a bartenders attention while they are on the opposite side of the bar at the same time just goofing off then they would just pass us finally The couple next to us got up and track them down WhIle she was getting them I had to ask her to help us then didnt put ice in my drink so I had a warm mixed drink and didnt run my credit card instead kept it opened when I wanted it to be cashed out. First New years off work and out with my man in YEARS and was completely and utterly Horrible.

This was our 1st experience with The Pub. Unfortunately its wasnt a good one and will be our last. The service was slow and the staff wasnt very friendly. As our food arrived my husband had his beer in front of him. The server placed his meal down and while doing so pushed his beer to where is spilled over the entire table. Our daughter was sitting across from him and had her food ruined as the beer spilled directly on her plate and into her lap. Clothes wet and food ruined. The server didnt apologize at all and didnt hurry to try and help clean up the mess. A replacement for the food ruined wasnt even offered. I had to ask for her food to be replaced as it was completely soaked in beer. One would think an Im sorry and a meal replacement would have been automatic with maybe a small discount thrown in for the bad experience. So as you can see we will not return!

Okay, that was my review on our waitress. Im not a beer person, so maybe thats my problem, but I didnt feel anything new or original here. The food is like a much higher priced Chilis/Applebees/Bennigans. It has that "feel" of a British pub (no duh!), and the guys in kilts are pretty cool (no, Im not gay), but I really didnt see anything extraordinary. The food was good, not exceptional. It was really, REALLY LOUD! Customers had to yell over the music! I couldnt here our waitress at all! I had a headache when I left. Its is way to pricey! The wait is phenomenally long (and thats with a reservation). It was my wifes 2nd time there, and she likes it. My kids werent that happy afterwards. I think Ill skip and go to another restaurant in The Greene. Ill stick to eating in pubs in England when I return for the 3rd time. There, they have PUBS!

We came with another couple with very high expectations for an evening of good food and drinks. The drinks came out very slow and were very over priced. The appetizers we got were the Beer cheese with Pretzels and Spring Rolls. We received 4 Pretzel Halfs and a ton of Beer Cheese. I asked the waiter for more Pretzels and we received 1 more and were told we would be charged extra for anymore. The dinner we order was much worse. The girls both got Turkey Burgers with Beer Cheese and they were Terrible, basically a GFS Pre made Burger with Beer cheese falling off of it and Way to many onion straws with Pepper. The Chicken Breast Sandwich I received was a Pre Cooked chicken Breast with Way to much Pepper and no flavor. Between 2 couples it was $100, not even near worth it. Totally ruined the evening. I would never go back.

I go to the pub every night Im in town when i travel to beavercreek for business. Their passport program is wonderful (Im a premier pub traveler myself). Love all the food from fish & chips to lamb burgers. Huge selection of beers on tap, many unavailable anywhere else. My favorite is the Queens velvet layered beer. Wait staff have always been courteous to me with quick service, considering how busy they get at times. The management is very responsive and engaged with the customers. When i took a road trip to visit 5 pubs in one day (2 in Ohio and 3 in Kentucky) the manager called ahead to let the other locations know i was coming and to take good care of me.

We were there Saturday at 5:00. They were very crowded which is expected, so a 20 to 30 minute wait wasnt bad. The host took our name and we told him him we would wait at the bar. Forty-five minutes later and noticing they sat 5 parties that came in after us, we inquired how much longer it would be. They found our name on the list with seven names after us seated already. They told my husband sorry and we waited. Finally I went up there and they said we would be next....15 minutes later.we were seated. Very good food....but wont be back because of the poor customer service. ,

My wife and I stopped in for the first and last time today for a late lunch. No one was at the hostess stand and we had to ask a bus boy if we should seat ourselves. It took the waitress about 15 minutes to take our drink order since they were so busy with about 5 waitress and only 4 tables. The food was cold by the time she brought it out and she forgot the silverware. I worked in the restaurant business while in high school and college, there is no excuse for running that bad of service.
