I will not come back to Dunwoody Tavern. We had a strange and uncomfortable encounter with the manager at absolutely no fault of our own. Meeting with colleagues to celebrate a recent special occasion, myself and one other colleague were the first to arrive. We sat down and a waitress took our order for drinks. The drinks arrived and everything was fine - until the manager came over. A guy in pink pants walked over and stared at us very strangely. He never introduced himself by name or role. He looked at us and asked "Did you walk in with those?" (meaning our drinks). I replied "Of course not - the waitress just brought them." He continued to look puzzled and just walked away. When our waitress returned, we pointed to the man and asked who he was. She said he was the manager. We shared our story and disappointment in how he handled it. This manager chose not to say "Hi, my name is ___ and Im the manager". No "Im sorry to interrupt". No "Im sorry for my misunderstanding". Just a bizarre encounter and then walked away. We were dumbfounded. If the manager was unsure how we got our drinks, he should have asked his staff before accusing us of walking into the restaurant with an outside glass of wine and a pint of beer.

You read a review and make a decision about going to a restaurant....the more important the occasion the more important the decision. I Made a poor decision. No acknowledgement of reservation after I had the courtesy of calling to change the time 6 hours in advance. Seated and waited...and waited....and waited. Seems we were not acknowledged as "regulars" by the manager or owner so those who were recognized around us were served well. Of 4 entrees ordered two arrived....the other two 30 min later. I did not care about a free drink in response. Perhaps it works for some....funny thing is, Many of the regulars know me well...can wait to share my experience. Dont bite the hand that feeds the customers that feed you well. Extremely disappointed.

Come to lunch at noon on Friday and the place was almost empty. That should have been the first clue to not eat here. The women serving us was not very friendly and only visited our table 2.5 times. I gave her a half because she asked how we were doing without actually coming to our table and just kept walking. We had to tracker down just to get our check to pay the bill. My Cuban came out lukewarm and without the MOJO dipping sauce. The tots were really good though. Someone else at my table ordered a salad without olives but it came with olives. This place is probably good for drinking beer and watching sports but stay away from the food.

Ive ordered from Dunwoody Tavern multiple times (through Uber Eats) and thoroughly enjoy the food. I have yet to go in person, but due to my recent order forgetting an item from Uber Eats, the GM, Ebony, has made me want to experience the in person experience. She was extremely kind and willing to go the extra mile to ensure my satisfaction even though the Uber Eats driver is supposed to also check to ensure all items are there. Not placing the blame on anyone, but Ebony was ready to do whatever it took to ensure I was a happy customer. I will definitely be ordering from here again and will be going in person soon!

We were visiting the area from another state and brought a group of 30 teens and adults to this restaurant. A week after eating here, I am still blown away at the impeccable service we received, the quality of the meal and the speed at which it was delivered. Beverages were refilled quickly and meals started coming out no more than 10 minutes after we ordered. The servers provided excellent meal recommendation and worked to ensure all our needs were met. If I lived closer, I would make this restaurant a regular stop because of the focus on the customer - A+.

Unless youre a middle aged white man, dont expect any kind of service at the bar. I asked for a menu after ordering my beer and probably would have ordered some food if anyone ever looked at me again after that. The bartenders rather socialize with each other or regulars. I have been trying to make eye contact with someone, anyone, for over 15 minutes. There are literally 5 other customers here. I will not be leaving a tip.

My friend and I have a running bet as to which of us will make it out of here first without being accosted by some drunk townie. Its a cool place to get a drink, but the food is kinda hit and miss. I like the open layout of the bar, and the music is usually pretty good. Every now and then theres a performer who is not up to snuff, but its all good. The British vibe makes me feel like I should watch more soccer.

Good atmosphere, live music, they created a really great place with leather chairs for lounge seating. Food is normal bar food but experience makes up for it. Bring a crew and have fun after golf, parties, etc..

This is the best kept neighborhood bar secret in Atlanta. Great staff, excellent beer and drink selection and new menu and updates make this a favorite! (Live music can be loud; good game/TV selection.)

Inedible food. Bangers were basically just two wrinkly, over cooked hotdogs laid over bland gravy and lumpy mashed potatoes. Poor beer selection. The only stout they had was Guinness.
