Took my granddaughter, age 8, for the first time at lunch today, 01/19/13. Being the first time I ordered the signature sandwich, the Rude Dog; unfortunately at noon on Saturday, while the restaurant opened at 11AM, I was told there was no chili, so that eliminated the Rude Dog sandwich and the chili fries that were to accompany it. Our served did not offer any explanation as to why they had no chili. Also, the tartar sauce or what was listed on the menu as a remoulade was nothing more than mayonnaise - there was not even a speck of pickle or capers anywhere. Meanwhile, the music playing was inappropriate for children - I heard lyrics like "sex me up" totally wrong for an 8 year old, yet this establishment does support children evidenced by the childrens menu presented to us upon being greeted by our server. My granddaughter unfortunately placed her hands on the bottom of the table only to find a nasty wad of chewed gum stuck there by some unknown prior "guest". She was too young to realize many rude tasteless people have the habit of disposing of theirgbum that way. She now knows never to explore the underside of a dining table in a public area. I was finally disappointed that our serve,r upon presenting our check, made no effort to provide any accommodation to us for any of our inconveniences. I am not interested in any rebate or coupon as I have no interest in returning to this establishment.

It was the worst restaurant experience Ive had in years. Some friends and I tried this restaurant out to watch a world cup soccer game over lunch. We arrived early, when there were maybe 5 other customers in the restaurant. We ordered beers and while the restaurant did become busy about a half hour later, it took us over 45 minutes to receive the drinks we ordered, which were luke warm when they arrived. We then ordered lunch and another round of drinks that never arrived during the 2.5 hours we were there. Ultimately, we had to leave hungry and thirsty as most of us had work to return to so we paid for the drinks we received and left. No apologies; just perceived annoyance by the staff that we were leaving without paying for food we never received. Pros: * Decent number of TVs (though they refused to turn the US game on the TV nearest our table so we had to watch the US game from a distance) Cons: * Slow, almost-nonexistent service * Warm beer * Filthy bathroom (also out of towels) I still cant really believe the service was so bad. I ordered a chicken wrap and came in before the rush. How does a chicken wrap take over 2.5 hours to make? And how does the server make it to our table twice in 2 hours? I dont understand how this place can stay in business.

This place is a fun upbeat, clean, comfortable place to relax and enjoy some really great food! I got a Philly and was I impressed. Served on a Ciabatta bun, loaded up with a pretty decent amount of meat and veggies, and a good deal of fries on the side all for only $8. Not a bad price for the portion size! My wife had a White Pizza, made with a white sauce, mozzarella, and tomatoes. Which was fantastic, I absolutely love thick crusted pizza. Our server was a very kinda young lady, who tended to us respectively. I really enjoyed the jukebox as well, the sound system in this place is amazing! From the pool table to the spacious patio, Rude Dogs got plenty of room to move around. With DJs Thursday nights, live bands Friday nights, and karaoke on Saturday nights, it sounds like there always something going on here. I recommend the Rude Dog to anyone looking to relax, have a bite to eat and maybe a cold drink to wash it all down. Very impressed, great job to the staff!!

It took forever for us to get our food and there were only 17 people in the bar, so I know the kitchen wasnt busy. When we got the food it was just okay and not even hot. One of my friends got a pizza and asked for crushed red pepper flakes, it took 12 minutes before the waitress brought them. Everyone else was already half way done eating before he started. I would not recommend this place.

Ive been coming here since it opened, frequently. The core group of staff has mostly left fairly recently and the service has suffered severely. We sat here on a fairly slow Saturday night for 30 minutes before we received service, and it got worse as the night wore on. Im going to frequent other options until I hear things improve.

Had a very bad experience with the manager of this establishment today ... Loud boombox right in my ear and happy hour ipa beer with more than half the ipa excluded from happy hour and then getting Bill and staff not changing Bill price. Very unethical people here . Be cautious . Bad managment in general and dirty !

For a bar/restaurant its a great place. Ive been going to the place at Polaris for awhile and the food is really good. Ive talked to the cooks a few times and they take the food seriousely. The lady bartenders and servers are hot and always really nice and helpful. A great place to hang out for awhile.

I can understand some humor in the service, but it was just plain bad and the food was even worse. I tried to use their website to provide some feedback, but heard nothing out of that effort. Guess this will be one of the next poorly managed places to go under. Too bad

Very unprofessional how all the bartenders and waitresses are always hammered and hook up with every customer that walks through the doors of this restaurant. Great food, great drinks, so its a shame to see what this place has become and how this environment ruins it.

Decent drinks and specials, staff was just ok, but honestly, their food is quite good. If you get a chance to have their cheeseburger, it really is quite delicious. Overall the place is clean and food is good, if you can deal with average service, its worth it.

Really enjoy the layout as it serves as a restaurant in the evening but can open up in the bar area later in the night. LArge patio to eat outdoors on summer nights as well. Karaoke on the weekends which can be fun and entertaining if you are in the mood.

I have been coming to Rude Dog for awhile now. They have a lot of great items on their menu but my favorite is their buffalo chicken sandwich! They have great service and food. Its a great place to relax and have a beer or two :)

Food is good, nice selection of beers, friendly staff. Usually understaffed so wait time may vary. Karaoke and trivia nights are obnoxiously loud. Conversations on those event nights is virtually impossible.

Good beers and above average quality bar food...not quite a restaurant, but more than a bar, Rude Dog is a great place for a Friday evening or Saturday night. Try the fried pickes...some of the best in Ohio.

1st time here. OMG the Nachos!! real cheese and moms chili. Served in a giant dog bowl this is now one of my two favorite places for nachos. The service staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
