I left my coat (with my car keys inside) in this bar last night. I will say I had a good time in the bar last night, but locating my coat today? Not so much. I called multiple times asking if they found the coat, and came in when they opened again at 4pm to double-check in person. They said they checked the bar and hadnt seen it, but apparently had not because my new-found friend who also works there, Jess, found it in the back office of the bar. I had already driven back to my home in Ann Arbor, so when she told me she found it I had to drive another 45 minutes both ways to retrieve the coat. I cancelled all of my new years eve day plans to stick around Detroit looking for this coat (I wanted to leave Detroit at 9am, but here I am, driving home 10 hours later at 7pm). If the person who closed the bar had just brought the coat to the hotel front desk (which is their protocol in these situations) instead of put it in the back, all of this would have been avoided. The thing that annoys me the most, and the reason Im writing this review, is that of the multiple employees there that tried to help me find it in the day, none applogized when I came back and claimed my coat. **Hops off Soapbox**

Went to "happy hour." Ordered a couple of drafts. When the bill came, I was told that I could not get happy hour prices because I was not sitting at the bar. 1. There was nothing on the sign advertising happy hour prices that said you had to sit at the bar. 2) The server, who claimed she didnt know because she usually worked at the bar, made no effort to rectify the situation. She said it was policy. After claiming of course, that she didnt know anything about it. The kicker was I was maybe 5 feet from the bar. If the sign had said happy hour prices only apply to the bar, I wouldve moved. If my server had said, "the happy hour specials are only at the bar, " I would have moved.

Couldnt say anything about the food, waited 5 minutes at a table after being told to seat myself, "someone will be with you soon", I was dying of thirst so I got a beer from the bar ($7 for a Sam Adams??) and headed back to my table for food. Half finished the beer (was sitting on it trying to make it last through dinner), before I managed to get the attention of a waitress to request a menu, was told "Ill be right back to take your order". Finished the beer, got bored with waiting, left and got a pizza from the Dominos around the corner. All up, 20 minutes of my life wasted.

Pizza was fantastic. Cant say enough about their pizza. Really enjoyed it. Tried some other stuff later and it was a bit disappointing. I only ate half of what I ordered. Note: My food was to go. Food in the establishment itself may be much better. Anyone who has had any food from a proper restaurant "to go" knows what I mean. The food is always better when eaten inside the establishment. Your miles may vary.

The service and food were both terrible. My brother and I both order burgers well done. The burgers were burned badly on the outside but still raw on the inside. My mother order the tilapia which was raw. When she sent it back all they did was put the same fish back on the grill and they brought it back out. That is disgusting if you ask me. The food was overpriced and the waitress was rude. Dont waste your time,

Food is fair service horrible , after being seated a waitress came to me and said i didnt pay my bill the night before wich is total BS , after that no desire to eat there so went up to them paid for what i already paid and they were like no no its ok , i said F*** ing take it will never be back here and will tell everyone i know

Well me and a group of friends are here now and contemplating walking out. We could hear the waitresses in the back complaining about who was gonna serve us and the girl who took our oder, apparently doesnt have a name or at least didnt feel like telling us it, is EXTREMELY rude. I dont care how the food tastes, dont come in.

Walked in, told us they were closed when their hours say 2am, stone sober, disrespectful, treated us as second class citizens for no reason. Walked out without question, no need to plead to spend money. Lost my business and business of my colleagues forever. Bad establishment.

Nice atmosphere for a date with dimmed lights. Pleasantly surprised at the lasagna on the menu, it was delicious. I say "surprised" because it was my first-time there and normally Id only order that type of item at a specialty restaurant. However, enjoyed my visit and date.

Got a 90$ bill for food and drinks paid with card and left a cash tip of 15 dollars and forgot to cross out the tip section on the receipt so the waitress felt it was her responsibility to give herself a 50$ tip!!!! Will never go back!!

Just not great. Overpriced food, definitely not anything special or unique. Unenthusiastic staff, unpleasant to speak with. Craft beer selection is strange(not in a good way). Definitely not recommended...

Didnt have any service for over 20 minutes, waitresses walked by repeatedly and didnt ask if we had been helped. Ordered the New York strip, by far the worst steak Ive ever had and the sides were already cold

Weird dynamic, connected to the holiday Inn but seems to be frequented by locals. Manager was noticeably intoxicated both times I was there. Staying at connected hotel but they did not have takeout menu.
