I would have had a warmer experience in Antarctica. Service was disjointed and uninviting. The young man who seated us left the greet station without us and without any prompt to follow him. He was on the opposite end of the restaurant before we realized we were expected to follow him. He left menus, but no utensils. A waitress took our order, but it was the gentleman who seated us who delivered my pre-meal salad. I asked for utensils and despite his acknowledgement, he left the table and did not return. Eight minutes later, I saw him pass by and again asked for utensils. He muttered something as he walked away and when he returned with utensils, simply dropped two sets onto the table without a single word. Several minutes later, the waitress arrived with the rest of our food. She did stop by several times to check on us but was far from personable. Overall, I felt like any request was an inconvenience. The food was mediocre. The fries were well-seasoned, but the 1/2 Reuben looked like it had lost a boxing match. One side of the sandwich appeared smashed with nothing between the slices of rye, except cheese. The other side of the sandwich contained a modest amount of cheese and corned beef and was soggy. The rye bread was burnt on one side. Overall, Id prefer to take a day in hell than return.

Absolutely horrible! I am currently sitting in the resturant. Came down from NE Ohio. Placed order at 12:40pm, server came out at 1:30 and informed us that they were out of penne pasta. I indicated that I was not interested I would just go without eating since is was almost an hour had been waiting on food. We waited for the other folks food to come out. At 1:43pm the waitress came back and said they had found 1 more serving of penne and I said I was fine I think that another person in our group had ordered the penne. The waitress then indicated that the other person in the group could get linguini. We declined and asked to speak with a mamager and the waitress dissappeared. Here we are at 1:51 no waitress and we requested to soeak with the manger again and were told he is in the kitchen and the remainder of our party still has no food. I informed our server at 1:55 that no one has receive thier food and no manager yet, so we are leaving. The waitress said ok and did apologize, but this is the worst resturant and customer service I have ever experienced in my life!!!

The waitress was very nice. The environment was relaxing and clean. The cooks need more training. They forgot to turn on the panini iron and discovered it after the rest of our order was cooked and ready. The panini was late, soggy, and basically inedible. The burger was way over cooked and , the egg on it was hard (ordered over medium). The sandwich I ordered was supposed to have brown sugar bacon on it, but instead it had greasy limp regular bacon. When I asked to just have the correct bacon sent out, they sent out more of the same gross bacon and claimed they cooked it longer, so it should taste better. What?!? Then they said that they dont have brown sugar bacon...even though its on the menu. The horrified waitress wanted to make things right and offered a discount on the food, but was unable to locate the manager on duty for 30 minutes. She gave us one of our two items for free. She did a good job and I appreciated her efforts. We wont be back there for burgers or paninis again. We have had cowboy nachos in the past that were very good.

On 7/15/2017 we called ahead and made reservations for 26 people, half of them being 18U fastpitch softball players, and the rest parents who had been on ballfiields all day and ready to celebrate the end of the day. When we arrived they had a sectioned off area ready for us, and Dwayne was our server. Not only did Dwayne did a very good job, he did a a PERFECT job. He was attentive, engaging, and energetic. When we needed something, he was there. When something was ordered, it arrived. When a parent wanted to joke around, he made them feel funny. And get this ... when the fill arrived, it was correct. What? With a group that large it didnt turn out to be a mess? Nope, he had it right. The restaurant itself was very nice, and the food excellent. That in itself gets 5 stars, but thrown in the TREMENDOUS service by Dwayne, and it gets more stars than I can find to click. I hear Dayton, OH is getting a Mackenzie River, and I look forward to going to it. Can you send Dwayne there?

I have been here three times in the past two weeks, and the only gripe I have is speed of service. Food is great, so far have not had anything I didnt like and we have been in groups of 5-8 two of the times. Again, biggest concern is the fact that it takes 30 minutes to get an appetizer and the bartenders seem to be working at their own pace. Asked for waters while sitting at the bar and it took a solid 10 minutes for her to acknowledge and get our waters - we waited while she took and made three other drink orders between ordering water and getting it. I will be coming back because it feels maybe like the opening of this place has just been off to a slightly rocky starr, but if speed of service doesnt improve we will take our business elsewhere very quickly.

Our server was good. The place looks pretty interesting. The dead trees in the middle of the restaurant had a bit of a nice touch but I dont think Id want to sit next to them with the dead leaves overhead. My wife got a cheese pizza and I got a burger. My burger came with onions strings on top that were low grade, store bought, and absolutely dreadful- embarrassingly bad. I took them off obv and the rest of the burger was so so. It wasnt terrible but prob not worth the $12 or so I paid for it. My wifes pizza was really bad. If I hadnt known better I wouldve thought it was a Tonys pizza that had been left int he over too long because the cheese was dark brown. Her pizza was $11. We took a good look around because we wont be going back.

Food and service was amazing. Appetizer: Goat Cheese Queso and Chips This had a very unique taste and we ate every bit of it. The blue corn tortilla chips went well with the peppers and onions in the queso. Entre: Ol Prospector Burger with a side house salad. The burger was cooked correctly and had "nuggets" of cheddar cheese in it with Gouda, bacon, etc. on top. I got the greek fetta dressing on the salad and that was a great choice. They had several different vinaigrettes too. Brambleberry Tea: Different, good, but only wanted one glass of it. I look forward to coming back and trying since other tasty looking options in the menu.

Service was awful. We waited for ten minutes before anyone came to our table. After some apologies we got out drinks. Food was ok. Not great. We waited forever for our server to come back to our table..she disappeared. We had to ask other servers for service. We receieved dirty plates for our appetizers. My husband had to get up several times to find someone to address our concerns. At the end of the dinner, our server came with our check and didnt come back to pick it up for almost ten more minutes. So we went up front to give our check to the bartender. All in all...it sucked. Most likely will not return :(
