V ery dirty inside. All the tables had crumbs on top and were dirty when we came in. It was around 4 pm when we got there so there was only one other couple in the dining area. My niece asked the girl who was taking the orders if someone would clean the tables as they were all dirty. She said yes but did nothing or told anyone. After she took all our orders she still did nothing. My niece took some napkins to clean off a table so we could sit somewhere halfway clean. There was garbage also on the floor. I asked to see a manager and told her that this was the dirtiest Sonic I have ever been in. She apologized and had a girl come out to clean. She only cleaned 3 tables. My sisters french fries were cold and she asked the server for fresh hot ones. He never brought any back. The manager came over to the table as we were finishing up and said that she has asked them to cleanup but it is hard to make them. Obviously that is her job to make them if she was a good manager. We told her about the French fries and she checked on it and the guy said he forgot. She brought out a large fries in place of the regular size. All the food was just edible but not good. The only thing I liked was the cherry limeade but there was no cherry in it. Would not go back.

Dont use the drive thru, no one is home there. If you go inside it doesnt appear as though anyone is home there either. You can stand in front of the counter and wait for an employee to take your order...they might see you after a few minutes, they might not it just depends. If you are fortunate enough to receive service you can expect to wait twice as long as normal for your food. On this particular day it was a regular hot dog combo, which was cold with soggy, old tots. Way dead and should have been destined for the garbage. But what I want to know is how come it takes over 10 minutes to to bag up a hot dog and an order of tater tots, especially when its far from fresh? Lets also point out the fact that there is not a single employee working in there that looks like they are enjoying themselves or engaged in their job. Everyone in there is a zombie, no body speaks...it looks like the operation is a complete mess, to go along with the sub par cleanliness of the store. The management staff of this franchise needs to tighten it up. Awful service, awful food, wouldnt come back if it was the last tater tot on earth.

Ordered a foot-long chili cheese dog yesterday. Asked for onions and relish added. Instead, they gave me a foot-long it without the chili and the cheese with mustard and onions. Went back to the counter to tell the cashier. He took the foot-long brought it back, aunt had Mike put relish on it. He brought it back to me without the chili and the cheese on it and I explained to him that it needed chili and cheese on it. I did not want mustard on it. Michelle brought it to me in the dining room everything was correct but, it had mustard on it. I also had ordered an all-American hotdog. They brought me an all-American hotdog but the dog was a regular dog not, and all beef dog. Their cashier it was poorly trained and kept screwing up my order before it was fully placed and paid for they spent most of their time talking and standing around doing nothing. I am not a racist but, there was absolutely no other ethnic people there other than African-Americans. Standing around talking not paying attention to what they were doing. Yeah, they were friendly. But, thats besides the point.

Well today I had a craving for a couple of Chicago style hot dogs. I stopped at the Mayfield Rd. location by Lander Rd. Turned out to be a really bad decision. I walked in and the staff in the back did not seem to be that busy. It was a good five minutes before somebody even asked if I was taken care of...this was car hop who asked me...she went into the kitchen area and asked for somebody to go out front and take care of the waiting customers. Five more minutes went by and finally a girl came out and asked me for me order. I started to give it to her and she abruptly turned her back on me and went back into the kitchen...ignoring me...and not telling me what was going on. I walked out...I wont go back...ever... The help there are either poorly trained...incompetent..or outright stupid. I strongly suspect its a combination of poorly trained and incompetent.....they get a one star rating only because I cant post a zero star one.

I want to be clear that I have been to this Sonic multiple times, and every time the order has been messed up. And not by a little, but by a lot. If you order a Coney, you get a foot long with nothing on it. If you try to get a burger with no mustard, you get a burger with only mustard. One time I tried to get a double no bun, and only got a bun, no double. I always excused it because the tots were on point. Salty, crispy and joyful. This time however they were cool, soggy and sad. A person can excuse a lot, but once people start messing with tots, we as a nation need to take action. And the only action left is to get this place organised. I think any job can be done with enough organization, and this place needs to start from the beginning. Like knock it down, burn the Earth underneath the structure and rebuild. (You may think thats an extreme view, but you didnt try those tater tots.)

The only thing to like is the design of the place and it looks new. The service was OK but the help acted a little weird. The food was absolutely terrible. My burger was smashed for no apparent reason and it was absolutely cold. So were the tater tots, cold that is and not smashed. I dont know why they smashed my burger but they did. It did not take too long to get but it was absolutely horrible tasting, cold and just yuckie. I have no better description for this food. I will never come back here. Usually at a bad place you can sort of figure out what the problems are, but not at this place. I just dont understand why an alleged fresh burger would be cold and smashed. It looked like a Cuban sandwich that was put in a press. It did not do that by itself. A guy next to me just shook his head and said "weird" is all he could say. I got to say absolutely do not come here.

This, by far, has to be the worst Sonic in America. My burger patties were cold, which means the cheese wasnt melted. The bun wasnt fresh, and my onion rings were the size of doughnuts and werent cooked through. It even took forever for my order to be taken as well as forever for my order to be brought to me at the car port. If not for much better service and food from the Sonics I have eaten from in Kansas and Tennessee, just the sight of a Sonic Drive-In would make me sick. If it were possible to give this location zero stars I would. To be honest with you, they really need to close this location as it is a total disgrace to what I know is great food and service at every other location I have visited. I would hate Sonic if this were the only restaurant Id ever eaten from.
