I love this place. The pancakes are awesome, as are the crispy, not deep-fried hasbrowns, and the veggie and egg quesadilla is perfect. They dont overload you with bad food and charge you a fortune, they give you the perfect amount of excellent, unique, quality food for a very reasonable price. The service is kind of slow, as there arent many employees in the little place, but they are alway super friendly and hospitable. Ask and you shall receive... with a smile, nonetheless! Best breakfast place in the town and immediately surrounding towns.

Get here early as the location is somewhat small and fills up quickly once open. Seating is cozy so dont expect much privacy. Some tables are very close together. As many others have noted, Borderline is CASH ONLY and they dont seem to have any plans on changing that. Apart from that obvious downside the food, service, and staff are all excellent and this spot is worth checking out at least once if you live in Lakewood or even if youre just passing through.

When you first walk in, theres usually a bit of a wait because everyone in town wants to have breakfast and brunch at this cute and warm cafe. Theres a strong local charm about the place and absolutely incredible, fresh and interesting food. They have the beat home fries Ive ever had, good coffee, and great specials and classics. This is my new favorite breakfast place in Cleveland and its right in my own backyard!

Just moved to the area in Lakewood, and stopped by for breakfast on Sunday. Borderline really surprised me and stands out as a top 3 breakfast spot. Best home fries I have ever eaten. I cant wait to go back and get some smack your ass chorizo tacos! Only negative feed back is it is CASH ONLY. Make sure you know that ahead of time. Other than that, anything you pick from the menu will be amazing.

This is one of the best breakfast places I have ever been. My girlfriend and I go here and split a savory item and the stuffed French toast. It is a perfect combo! The place is small and cozy which is nice. However, this is also allows the chance you will have to wait outside. Not a problem in nice weather, however... One final thing, they accept only cash! It is worth a trip to the ATM.

Best breakfast in Lakewood IMHO. Everything is fresh, and a grilled (as in sliced in half, slathered in butter and fried on the griddle) muffin on the side is just the icing on the cake. Be sure you leave plenty of time, and if its a Sunday, try to time it so you dont arrive after the nearby churches let out. There will be a line out the door!

Normally great service walked up to door at 1:03 and the lady locked the door as my wife was grabbing for the door. Hours say 1:30, guess they were done for the the day. Planned our day around going there because the food is so good. Also was told best time to go is 1... Very disappointed today.

We had the Eggs Benny with avocado, bacon, cilantro and a non traditional sauce (in a good way) and shared home fries. Everything was delicious, I think one of the best Eggs Benedict Ive had! Service was efficient and very friendly! Look forward to return visit!!

Andy Blackburn is right... he always is. This place has the best home fries I have ever tasted. After Perkins tried to ruin our morning, we stumbled upon this quaint place and were not disappointed. The toast has seeds! Nuff said. 6 stars out of 5!

First time here. We came for a late brunch which was perfect timing because we didnt have to wait. Not a ton of seating, but great service and the food was delicious. Perfect portion sizes. You cant go wrong with the Bacon Avocado Benedict.

This is the best breakfast place. Their coffee is awesome, friendly and familiar staff, and it is so cozy. My favorite time to come in is when it is snowing, and sitting in the window seat. The food is good too!
