I have ate here many many times in the past couple years. Actually ate here 2 weeks ago. But tonight will be my last time here. I have notice the last couple of times that I never received a tab and tonight I didnt receive one. So when I pay for my dinner I ask for a tab and when I got to the car I looked and seen that I was overcharged. I went back I and told them that I was charged and the cashier said no problem and was refunding me without questioning the overcharge. Then the manager came up and ask what was the problem and I expressed my option that I have ate there so many time that I was shocked of being overcharged the way I was. He was very rude and said "I have never seen you before". I told him not to worry he would never seen me again. I have never been as disappointed at a restaurant than I have tonight. He has came over to our table many of times in the past. Friends/friends of friends please think twice before paying for your dinner and ask for your tab to review before paying. Donald Trump may just be on point!! Lets make American great again!! :)))

Went there today for my birthday and it was horrible. This review is not even worth one star! The staff were horrible. The food was okay, but not the best. When we got there my dad and sister asked if they sung happy birthday and they said yes they did. well we waited and waited and they finally brought out a sombrero hat and my dessert, but still no song. so again we sat there waiting and finished our food and as we were leaving my dad said politely that he never heard no singing. Another waiter told us that they were not a mariachi band they were a restaurant then the other waiter who had told us they sung laughed and rolled his eyes. We would have been fine with this if the man didnt say what he had said and if our waiter hadnt lied to us. Also as we were telling the waiter what we wanted to drink my sister spoke up and told the waiter that he hadnt gave my brother a menu and the waiter patted his at her and rolled his eyes and went on asking what everyone wanted to drink. Lets just say I will NEVER eat there again! Horrible Restaurant!!!

Pre packaged fake ground beef is not my idea of good food.i had taco salad the meat hard a horrible strange taste to it when i asked three Waiter about the strange taste he said it was fake pre packaged meat. I was distraught as i had heard this place was good but never will i easy there again.i see now why they dont ask you how your food is as they do at most restaurants. Out of four of us eating not one ate our food and all thought the beef was totally gross. Made complaints but still paid full price at over 45.00 for our total and one was a Childs plate for a five year old. I cant see how thus place stays in business not to mention the waiter was bragging on how he made 400 bucks a week clear money and he didnt have to do much there. What a joke people that think thus place has good food had never ate great Mexican food.this place is far from great....

Love this place, and the reason why is the service. Youll always be greeted and treated like an old friend here. Ive never had something I disliked. The *only* complaint I can mention would be prices and portion sizes pale in comparison to El Patio in Bristol. I reckon Ive been spoiled, because El Mariachi costs a few dollars more with a reduction in portion size. However, El Mars easily defeats El Patio in regards to service/friendliness.

Like one review had said this restaurant doesnt even deserve one star. Horrible staff, food is bad, and again I say HORRIBLE STAFF!!! I will not be eating there again anytime soon. If i want Mexican food I do believe I will either go to taco bell or drive to Grundy to eat at el sombrero.
