I always enjoyed the fact that they had a diverse selection of food. Our favorites were the chicken fiesta salad, potato wedges, and pork bbq sandwiches. However the last few times we went the chicken was extremely dry and had a lot of gristle and the potatoes were being left in the fryer way too long. I once asked for the wedges to be replaced, they came back out undone in the center. The service is lacking. The wait staff on the most part arent usually very hospitable. The wait time the last few times I went was too long considering the order, but thats accounting for the long wait for the server to come to our table to take our order. There were 3 tables other than us, with less than three people at each table and three servers who spent their time behind the counter talking and ignoring the customers. On multiple occasions weve had to go to the counter to ask for refills. My family and I used to eat here at least twice a week, and considering they were only open 5 days a week, thats quite often. I was a customer when The Moose first opened in Honaker. It was my favorite restaurant around. We no longer had to travel to somewhat larger cities/towns to find really great food. When they moved to Richlands, we followed. At this time it was always packed out, everybody loved it. Even then with the overwhelming anxiety I deal with, I would come into this crowded loud place so I could have the meal that Id craved for days. Thats how good it was. Now its not the same. We havent been back in a while. I dont know what caused the change, but there has been a big one and it hasnt been for the better.

My family and I have eaten at the Bearded Moose and had great food and great service. Our visit today was a different story. Customers who arrived after us were waited on before. We did get our appetizer but were not given utensils or napkins. After waiting almost an hour for our meal while those who arrived after we did had already completed their meal we decided to leave. We were never offered refills and never received our meal. After waiting an hour we left. The worst experience at a restaurant that I have had.

The food is delicious, the service was great, and their lemonaide is made fresh to order! If you go, try the Moose Track fries! My only complaint, they are closed on Mondays, but everybody needs to rest sometime! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Enjoyed the meal. I had the chicken Mexican salad. It was super and would highly recommend. Too much to wright about you will have to experience it your self. Moderate pricing, huge servings and friendly service.
