Will not be returning. My experience: Arrived before the lunch rush with a small party. Wait staff took some time to bring drinks and take an order, which is expected at lunch. The actual food took quite a while (over 30 minutes) to arrive, and one member of our party received their meal 10 minutes after everyone else (despite it "coming right out"), while the table was ignored by the wait staff. No price concession was offered by wait staff or management for this. In the 90 minutes we were there, one drink refill was offered. My particular order was a salad for $11 that came in a small bowl with no discernable dressing, but some tasty chicken. There are so many restaurants with equal (or better) quality food, better prices, a better atmosphere, and better service in this immediate area. There is no reason for me to ever want to spend my time or money at this establishment at any point in the future.

We live nearby and go to the Silver Spring House every few weeks for weekend lunches or dinners. Stopped by last Sunday evening for dinner and placed our drink orders. Our waitress came back with our waters and gave us another minute to decide. While waiting for her to return, and after having taken a few sips from the glass, my companion discovered a DISINTEGRATING, FOLDED UP DRINK COASTER at the bottom of the glass. We asked for the waitress to get the manager, and while both were apologetic, the only remedy offered was a new glass of water. Considering my companion actually DRANK from a glass with DISGUSTING TRASH hidden at the botton of it, we expected more than the shift manager sheepishly offering a new glass of water. Its really too bad they didnt make the situation right, we are never going back.

Dont bother making an appointment. Made a reservation at 7:00 and didnt get seated till 7:45. The staff seemed completely overwhelmed with the Friday night crowd and no one seemed in charge. Dont even think about taking your family there for dinner and have a conversation, way too loud. I brought my elderly parents there and they had to stand the whole time and they need to have their A/C looked out because we sweated the whole time. I read the above reviews and feel that they must have family and friends of the place post them for them. The food is basically bar food, nothing special. You couldnt pay me to go back into this place. This place needs to take a course on customer service. So sad.

I have no idea how long this place has been open, but when you walk in, you can just sense that everyone has been there before. Its that kind of place. You keep coming back for the relaxed atmosphere and the food, especially the chicken. The largest part of the restaurant becomes open air during the summer months, which gives this place a different vibe than your typical windowless sports bar. There are TVs all over the place for sports-watching. Some commenters have noted that the food is either overpriced or overcooked. We have experienced neither! (Sure, the chicken is more expensive than Wendys, but its also ten times better!)

This is a nice place rather hidden and isolated from other restaurants, so Im glad I was tipped off about this place. The chicken, as advertised, was excellent and the portions were large. You can even go larger, if you wish, but youll pay more for it. The restaurant was clean enough for my tastes the two times I have gone, and has a great atmosphere. The staff was quick to take my order and were speedy with refills. Also, the refills come in neat mini-pitchers, so you dont have to ask about refills nearly as much as you would other places. Overall, this is a great place to take friends and visit occasionally.

There is something about Silver Spring House that makes you feel like you are on vacation. There are actually many things. The staff always makes you feel welcome and will try their best to make you comfortable even with the large volume of guests. The open air seating is always cooled by a breeze created by dozens of fans...or you can sit inside the old restaurant. Keno and sport fill the many screens to keep you drinking and eating from their expansive menu. Everyone leaves with a smile and a full belly.

Food was good... Bar food served quick. The servers and hostesses didnt smile once during our visit. All seemed to be inconvenienced to help us or having to do more than play on their phones behind the hostess stand. The manager needs to address this as they are the first and last thing a guest sees. We had to visit the bar to get a refill before our server noticed us. The restaurant is very nice and well kept and we plan on trying it out again. Hopefully next time the staff are more pleasant.

This place gets very loud and busy. If youre looking for a fun atmosphere or a place to hang out with a group this a great place. They also have plenty of tvs for sports. The food is okay but nothing special. They have a "good enough" beer selection, wine and full bar for mixed drinks. I gave it three stars because I feel like its very overpriced for the quality of the food. That said, I have friends who go there several times a month and absolutely love the place.

Service was super slow. We had a group reservation for 14. They had one server that appeared to be new, and she had several other tables also. The whole group was out of drinks before the waitress came back. The food took over 30 minutes to come out, and all the orders had cold french fries. Waitress was rude when we said something about it. Since it was a group they put an automatic 20℅ gratuity on the checks, and we never saw a manager. Very bad experience

The garage doors open in the summer/ spring/ fall and it makes for a nice enviroment- something different. I like the food but it is nothing out of the ordinary unless you get the quarter, half, or whole chicken, now that is pretty good. I would say if youre coming in from out of town or have never tried this place it is one you should stop into. They have a good drink selection and good food. Plus free popcorn, who can beat that.

I figured it would be good when I arrived mid-week to a crazy full parking lot. An hour wait got squashed to about 10min which is always a bonus. Chicken was amazing. Server and bar tenders were excellent. I would recommend this to anybody. My party all had chicken but they cater to red meat lovers too. Cant say enough good things about this place. Give it a go. Worth the wait if there is one.

Ive been here several times especially since all I have to do is walk to the end of my street. We have tried numerous menu items and weve liked everything weve enjoyed so far. Id say 4 out of 5 times the service has been good. However I do think that their menu is overpriced for sure. Several others Ive talked to have also said the prices are way too high for food quality.

This is the absolute best chicken restaurant in the entire Cincinnati area. Try the quarter or half chicken and the awesome side dishes. The chicken comes either original, bbq, or cajun.. Ive tried all 3 and I love them all. Huge selection of beers and 3 bars inside. Definitely an awesome place to hang out and have excellent food.
