purchased a groupon for this place because of the good reviews and its proximity to my hotel while I was in town for a few days. Walked to downtown location, and it was closed. No signs, notices, the website states they are open until 11pm and it is 6pm. I decide Ill walk to the other location. I get all the way there, and am told that the groupon is not for carry out, which was not mentioned in the groupon at all. The place was dead, but apparently they would rather turn away business because they dont want to put the pizza into a box for someone. I walked all the way back to my hotel and got a delicious pizza from pi instead.

Ive been eating at Lucy Blue since the old days when they were in the location where Half-Cut is now. Pizza is just as good. The atmosphere is way more refined. The space is well designed and comfortable. They have a full bar with several beers on draft. Lots of local choices too - they usually have Blank Slate on tap which is always a good sign. Everyone that works here is super friendly. I know if I stop in alone I will still get some good conversation. They also have a couple TVs so you dont miss the big game.

We were greeted as soon as we walked in by a friendly employee. We decided to order a pepperoni pie for $15. He made sure to ask if we wanted anything to drink while we waited. The place must be new or really well kept because its really clean and nice inside. The pizza was amazing. We had it while it was cold and it was still nothing short of amazing. This is our favorite pizza place in Cincinnati. I like Goodfellas but I dont like how you get 3 pepperonis on one slice. I didnt have that problem at Lucy Blues!

Ive had Lucy Blues a few times. Its cheaper than Goodfellas, but the slice is smaller too, and Lucy Blue is usually less crowded / a different vibe. Personally I thought Cincy by the Slice had better pizza than both, and Im still trying to accept the fact that they closed last year. I havent had the pizza lunch buffet from Lucy Blues yet but am looking forward to trying it.

I ordered delivery from here on a wim, so glad I discovered this place! I just got a simple cheese pizza. The crust is so delicious, has a nice chew to it, almost like a thinner focaccia, and I love seeing the herbs in the crust too . If you like a higher cheese ratio, you will definitely be pleased, but the cheese isnt overwhelming. I will definitely be ordering again!

Good cheap pizza by the slice. Great stop while bar hopping the service self seating and quick. They also have a large beer selection. I would also reccomend this place to anyone downtown who needs to eat quickly or is on call for work as you can be served in under 3 minutes.

I was on a date and we were walking around and stumbled upon Lucy Blues Pizza. They were completely dead and we just wanted a slice or two but the cook said he would throw in a fresh one for us so we got the whole pizza and it was delicious. Definitely glad I got a whole pie!

All you can eat Pizza, a drink, and a salad for under 10 bucks. Its pretty good pizza too. They had pepperoni, cheese, sausage, and pepperoni with banana peppers and bacon. Worth a visit if youre downtown and hungry for a reasonably prices lunch.

The restaurant is very convenient for a late night pizza by the slice particularly after the bars closed, I am not very fond of the people that work there. They tend to be rude, and obnoxious to their customers even when unprovoked
