My partner and I went here on a whim one day. The atmosphere and service were both great, very quick to seat us and our food came quickly (15 minutes or so.) I got the Burbon Burger with goat cheese instead of the usual harvarti, and it was... just okay. Nothing about it was BAD, but nothing was great either. The sauce was a little thin (it made the bottom bun soggy because it puddled on the plate) the bacon wasnt very thick or crispy, a little chewy, the burger didnt seem to have much seasoning to it, the bun was very standard. I got the onion rings, which were beer battered and very good. My partner thought their Swiss and Mushroom was pretty good, but also unremarkable, and the fries which were wonderfully seasoned and perfectly cooked. The fries were the best part of the meal, honestly. We abstained from the pretzel bread and beer cheese (which I think was complimentary? But I couldnt be sure) but it looked and smelled very good when our table neighbor got it. Our bill came to about $25 dollars for two burgers, rings, fries, and two waters. Seems kind of high to me for a Meh experience, but it wasnt outrageous. All in all this isnt a bad place to go if youre in the area, but dont go out of your way for it. Ill go there again if Im on Fountain Square and want a sit down burger place.

Let me tell you this place food is great. Its new and I have been going faithfully about 3 times a week since it opened. I started off with the End burger and lets just say DELICIOUS. PERFECTION, and everything else good. I then went to the chicken wings, and they were good. Then i went to the chicken nachos and they were on a whole new level. I got them and brought them back to my job and let my coworkers taste them. Lets just say everybody had nachos for lunch the next and NOBODY COMPLAINED. We were all HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY. One time they put onions on my burger and I did ask no onions. Well they felt bad and they made sure my order is right every time because now i am a friendly face. The onion the one time on my burger did not stop me because their food is great. However I recommend that you go try for yourself. I work in a company where we take up 6 floors and nobody has had anything bad to say about them. Not sure where those negative comments came from but I have not heard a person complain yet. As a matter of fact, thats where i am getting my lunch from today.

Great burgers, good beer, decent prices, just a little slow service We came in on Friday during a later lunch hour, so it was a little on the busier side, but we were able to sit at the bar. Although the bar itself was not the cleanest nor were the previous patrons dishes cleaned up, it was that big of a deal. We tried the burger with the egg, bourbon bbq burger, fries and onion rings as well. You dont get sides with the burgers, the fries and rings are $2 and $3 (respectively) extra, but they are worth it, especially the rings. They are huge (see my pictures) and you actually get a large piece of the onion. The fries were really tasty as well and what made them even greater was their house ketchup. The best part, though, were obviously the burgers. I had mine rare and it was cooked perfectly, as was my wifes. A flight of beers and bloody mary later, we had a great and very filling lunch for about $50 for the two of us.

I visited Bru Cincy to celebrate a dear friends birthday. This location is really wonderful. Its located right behind Fountain Square and a block away from the Contemporary Art Center. We a made a reservation and were seated right away. Our server was very attentive and helpful. We ordered a glass of wine and a beer and started out with the jalapeño Mac and cheese. This appetizer was amazing. Cavatappi pasta (the kind shaped like corkscrew) is used and jalapeño cheese, shrimp, and sausage top it off. This is a must try when you dine here. We ordered the Mexicali BBQ burger to split. It is a burger topped with white queso, pickled jalapeño, guacamole, fried onions, house Chipolte bbq sauce, lettuce and tomato. Ill admit, the bbq sauce seemed like a weird topping, but our server encouraged us to give it a shot and Im glad we did. It was really good. The onion rings were also super yummy!

In a word, Gross. The place is brand new, very modern looking, and the menu has quite a few different selections of burgers that sound appetizing. However, the prices are rather high, ($10-12 burgers) especially if you consider the fact that their burgers do not come with fries or anything (menu is basically a la carte). The wait was about 15 minutes for a burger, and they failed to include the extra sauce I had requested when I put in my order. All of these things I can put up with, so long as the burger is good. But it wasnt. The burger tasted distinctly of liver, and looked/tasted very dry. Definitely not gourmet. Again, Gross.

In town for a wedding. Stopped off here for a burger. Food and drinks were great, staff was friendly and service was quick and not pushy whatsoever. A table of drunk people came in, and after assessing the situation and their patrons, management kicked them out which I thought was pretty great, thinking about everyones dining experience, not just making money. The table got belligerent while being kicked out, and the manager stayed professional and did what was needed to be done. If I lived here I would frequent often, as it is clearly a very well run restaurant, with a staff that cares.

The Burgers are really overpriced ($11), plus fries ($2) and Onion Rings ($3) are extra. I wouldnt call this a good value dining spot. I was expecting this fabulous burger, but while it was good, it was fairly unremarkable. I think they could also improve on the quality of their buns. Mine was rather dry and too much bread for the thin burger. Klosterman buns would have been better. For these prices, I think Id stick with Jean-Roberts table a few more blocks north. Great beer selection, particularly on tap. Andrew, behind the bar, was a superb bartender/waiter.

I have been here twice now. Both times my burger was excellent... I wouldnt have named the "Melt your face off burger" quite that way because in my opinion it is still fairly tame but it has good flavor. The onion rings are great as well. They have homemade ketchup... Keep in mind the sides are extra when pricing up your food since most people consider fries to be an automatic side to a burger at no cost except at a fast food place and that is not the case here. Price is still fairly reasonable. Atmosphere is nice. It has some outdoor seating.

Dont bother. Honestly the burger wasnt bad, but I wasnt super impressed. Youre paying anywhere from $10-13 for some "gourmet" cheese burger, which doesnt even come with a side. The waitress asked us what temperature we liked our burgers at, which was apparently all for show. My medium order came to me with a patty that was dry and overcooked all the way through. Not even a sliver of pink. The dips and meat/cheese platter we got for appetizers werent bad, but I was really let down by the value of my meal.
