Ive only eaten at Bru Burger twice as of this writing, but I have enjoyed it well both times. The prices are a tad high, Ill admit, but the food in my opinion is very good, including the large burgers. Several menu items are pretty different from what youll find at other restaurants, specifically the burger options. Service both times has been very good, and I have been for both lunch and dinner. I was informed by our waiter upon my second visit that all of the beef used is high- quality, local, and organic. That gets top marks in my book, and I can understand the higher prices on the burgers because of that if that holds true. I have recommended this restaurant to friends and family, and I will return. It also holds a special place in my heart as it was the location of my first glass of Pappy Van Winkle bourbon. Gotta have the best of the best!

My family and I had dinner at BBB and all I can say is WOW! Forget the fact the burgers were cooked to perfection and came out in a timely manner, our service was SPECTACULAR! Ive dined in some pretty affluent establishments around the world and the service exceeded any expectations - thanks Mckenzie!!! About our experience: we ordered a burger with halal meat (as this was an alternative option before and one of the reasons we chose this restaurant). The manager personally came out to let us know that the supplier had been changed and they were still waiting on halal certification documents and gave us the option to change our order. Then when a salad came out with bacon (and we asked for no bacon) they offered to take it off the check and offered free apps or dessert for our next visit - and we will be back!! Thank you for making us feel like family!

The atmosphere is immaculate. The crowd is pretentious. Hence the $8 charge for a basic burger. It only get more expensive. Oh you want fries too? That will be another $2 charge. The burger was good, but definitely not worth $8. The fries were garbage. Supposedly seasoned fries were terribly undercooked despite their appearance. Dont plan on wearing anything less than a pair of slacks and a button-down shirt for fear of feeling severely underdressed. I gave 2 stars merely out of generosity since the establishment was clean and neat.

We have really come to love this place! Work has brought us to Lexington multiple times this year, and this is our favorite place to eat when we are here. The service has always been top notch! We love their craft beer selection, and the servers are very knowledgeable about the menu. Our favorite thing is how vegetarian/vegan friendly it is! Any burger on the menu can be made with one of 2 different veggie patties. Highly recommended if you are vegetarian or vegan. So many options!

I wouldnt post a review for this place except to give people a fair warning, usually you get what you pay for in a restaurant, well in this case, you pay for what you get...which is violently ill ten minutes after finishing the meal. The service to be fair was above average, but within ten minutes of leaving, I white knuckled the entire trip back to my house because I was wretchedly sick from the cthulhu monster writhing inside me that began as a Bru Burger. Eat at your own risk.

Came in right before closing. Server seemed to be rushed but settled in to accommodate a large last minute party. Couple items on beer menu not available. Light appetizers ordered and many different drinks (hard liquor, soda, beers). Service was quick. Fries a little salty and cheese sauce served with pretzel bites (more like loafs) was very watery. Nothing exceptional. Bit pricey for what we got. Closed at 11 on a Sat?

My husband and I cook almost all of our food at home because we feel like we make healthier and less expensive food. However, Bru Burger is 1 out of about 3-4 restaurants we will gladly go to eat. The prices are reasonable if you order the snack sized burgers. They are called snack size, but I can still never finish it! Plus the chili cheese fries are to die for! I would highly recommend this place.

I have to give this place a 5 because of the amazing bartenders, a married couple, and the abundance of craft beer. They know everything about the crafts and can take you on a fun journey. We always get a burger, of course, wings are my favorite and the Bru Board is a must! Love that they have cottage cheese, a healthy option, on the menu. Sit at the bar for best service.

Im a big burger junky, so 4 stars is a pretty good rating with that considered. This is a good burger destination in Lexington, would definitely recommend it. Sides were a little lack luster and the food was a little salty for my palette but the burger itself was really good. Service can be slow, and not very attentive, but it seemed like that was abnormal.

Alright I travel to this area of Lexington a lot and never came here because I was not a big fan of the Mexican restaurant that was here before. Im really bummed i waited this long to roll in. Hade the hot brown burger and bru burger, both were delicious. Beer selection was the best Ive seen (even better than the village idiot). Just do it!

Food was fair to good.... But over priced. The Hostess was very sweet and pleasant to talk to. However, our waitress was totally devoid of personality! Heaven forbid she should ever smile... Her face might crack! She definitely needs to find another line of work...a forklift operator comes to mind! We wont be back!

Server hurried us to leave, way overpriced for a burger with no fries included, had little flavor in the sauce or the burger. When asking about ketchup, the manager who delivered the food just pointed at the tiny dollop of ketchup that was on the plate and did not bring us more. Have no desire to come back.

Best burgers in Lexington!! I recommend the Bru Burger with Onion Rings!! I figured a burger named after the company offering it is a safe bet - couldnt be more true!! I also tried the Bourbon Burger. it is good, but the Bru Burger is far better, in my opinion. The hand made onion rings are wonderful!!

7/17/17 - best bar exprince ever. The bar tender was awesome!! The food was great (I had wings), the beer was greater (I had tangerine IPA, fresh squeezed IPA, and a wheat ale). The only way it could be better was if the bartender was blonde and a woman. But Ill still be back. I love Lexington.

I had heard Brus had the best burgers in Lexington. We tried it today. It did not disapoint! The service was great. The atmosphere was casual yet very nice. I had the Provencal and my son had the Blu Burger. We had the Bru Board appetizer. All the food was awesome. We will definitely be back

Good burgers. Got the melt your face burger and it didnt disappoint (hot and flavorful). Wait staff great. When ordering the temp of the burgers keep in mind they are cooked as ordered (medium was fully pink on inside). Was shocking at first because most times medium is served medium-well.
