Came here on a recommendation from a friend. I was not disappointed. I chose the pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries on the side. The pork was amazing without any sauce on it, but the three sauce offerings were each so good it was hard to settle on one. The vinegar based sauce was probably the one I applied the most of however. The sweet potato fries were literally the best Ive ever had anywhere. Although were crinkle cut, they came out to me hot and crispy (a hard feat to achieve, and needed nothing in the way of a sauce to deep them in. They were not oily in the least and perfectly complimented the pulled pork. The drink selection is nice as well. I settled on a strawberry Fanta (a rare treat for me). The waitress was attentive but did not hover and she and the rest of the staff were very friendly and gracious. 5 stars, will definitely eat here again.

Really good food and fun atmosphere. We shared the Hog Wild Platter between the two of us and it was plenty! Only complaint there was that the food was just a tad on the cooler side when served, but the flavor and texture were perfect! Great sauces! BEST Brunswick Stew I think Ive ever had! We also got a slice of the coconut cake because it looked amazing, however, it was actually very dry (I think it had been out too long)... The restaurant is in a cute streamliner with lots of character, but its a tight squeeze so be prepared for that. Service was good and very friendly.

To say they have the best barbecue in Savannah is an understatement. It would be fairer to say its some of the best Ive ever had in my life! The chicken and pork are falling-off-the-bone tender. The sauces are a perfect mix of tangy, sweet and spicy. Even the sides are amazing! I cant even count the restaurants Ive eaten at in Savannah, and this place ranks among my favorites. If youre visiting (or if you live here for that matter) dont pass up Sandfly BBQ.

The staff is friendly and very efficient. The food (which never disappoints) is always expedited quickly and in ample portions. The environment is very cozy and homey. I love the simplistic, laid back set up. Theyre a block from my house, which is dangerous for my figure haha. Also, Im southern and know good sweet tea. It gets an A+ too. I took my family to eat there yesterday. Those picky eaters gave it a thumbs up as well. YUM!

Excellent ribs, cooked just right! Ribs are served dry and you add your own sauce. Sweet potato fries were great (not many places have sweet potato fries). Waitstaff was very friendly. Seating is limited; we were in town mid-morning early season so there was no wait but, based on limited seating I could see it taking a while if this place is crowded. Definitely recommend eating here when visiting Savannah!

Polecamy wszystkim odwiedzającym Savannah, trzeba koniecznie spróbować południowego BBQ. Świetny klimat, gościnność obsługi, no i przede wszystkim przepyszne jedzenie. Żeberka i wołowina niesamowite!

It may look run down on the outside but dont let it fool you. This place has excellent bbq, I stop here whenever I come to Savannah. The brisket, pulled pork and chicken are so tender and flavorful even without any sauce on it. It comes without sauce so you can decide how much and which kind to put on. Everything you get here is going to be delicious. Their Mac and cheese is also amazing!

After reading the reviews I had little skepticism about this throwback of a restaurant. With its diner build and dollar bills covering the walls I have to say that I would without a doubt come back here. All of the food I had was probably some of the best Ive ever had(and Im from Texas). The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Full stars for food, service, and a full stomach.

Tiny restaurant near SCAAD, seats roughly 30 and offers limited outdoor seating. Famous for their rack of ribs, you either need to call in your order or get there early to secure their delicious ribs! Serving sizes are generous, side dishes are delicious (try the warm potato salad!!!) they have a limited beer and wine menu, but lets face it...were going for the ribs!

Had lunch with the wife. Great is not the word for it. It was super extraordinary and was 2ñd to none. Had the pulled pork, ribs, potatoes salad, bake beans, fries and Texas toast, and the waitress asked if I would like some peach cobbler. I said I dont know where I would put it. Will be back to the Sand Fly BBQ as soon as I can. Try it, you like like Ill guarantee.

Good barbecue and a really great selection of craft beers. We split the "Whole Hog" platter which came with ribs, brisket, chicken, sausage, and choice of three sides. The ribs were exceptional as were the side dishes. The brisket however was on the dry side but overall it was an exceptional meal and good service. My favorite new spot for brew and barbecue.

This is easily one of the best barbeque joints in town. The service is great, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is on point. Lunch or dinner this is a great option and being so close to Forsyth park means you can take food over to the park for a picnic or eat in there at the streamliner and enjoy the delicious smoked-barbeque aroma.

This place is phenomenal, the whole staff we encountered was so charismatic. The food was delicious and decently priced for the portions. The atmosphere was awesome. Its a neat little place. I highly recommend if you havent been and like BBQ or just friendly people you need not miss out on the experience here.

Service was not good at all. Brisket was mediocre at best. Ribs were not tender, I couldnt clean off the bone at all. The sausage was pretty good though. Oh, and we sat outside so every 10 mins someone drives by blasting terrible music. Dont make a special trip here, but its ok if youre right there already.

Came for dinner a few weeks ago. The staff is friendly and the place is pretty cute. But the food, wow! I dont know what they do to their baked beans but they are out of this world! I also had their pulled pork and my boyfriend had the Brunswick stew, which were both fantastic as well.

Horrible! Dirty, roach crawled on our table, I had to ask 2 times for someone to clean the table. We had ordered our food but I refused to eat it! But my family did eat their food. ! Then they didnt even give us a discount! I wouldnt recommended this place! Very dirty!

I have lived in the Deep South all of my life and attended many church dinners where the best collards and baked beans are found. Sandflys collards and baked beans would give any of them a run for their money. BBQ was outstanding as well. Cant wait to pass thru again.

Great food, freshly smoked out in the back. Service is also good. Since its a small space, there arent high chairs. Just FYI. Love their smoked whole chicken and the Wally sandwich made with chicken fried in duck fat. They always have seasonal specials too
