So..... weve driven past this place a few times & told ourselves well try this for breakfast sometime. Today was the day. We found the menu online & it looked good. When we walked in the place looked super cute & we were warmly greeted & seated immediately. But we sat there while other people were seated & drink orders were taken. And 3 waitresses walked past our table a number of times. My man had to get the managers attention to ask who our waitress was finally. He took our drink order & one of the waitresses who had ignored us several times brought our drinks. The only thing she said was her name & she would be serving us today. Uhhhhh..... how about apologizing for ignoring us? Its not difficult. I got the S.O.S. because it had been awhile since I had that. And it was pretty good. I also ordered a side of fresh fruit which was nice & fresh. My sweetie got 2 scrambled eggs, grits, & chicken fried steak with a little side dish of gravy for the biscuit. The chicken fried steak was nothing to write home about as it was just a pre-breaded, processed meat patty that was fried. It would be nicer if it was a real piece of meat like a minute steak. Our waitress came back shortly after we got our food to make sure we had everything we needed & we were fine at the time. But then she disappeared for quite some time. And we were wanting refills on our drinks & I was needing a glass of water. Everyone else seemed to be getting nice service though. The cookies & sweet rolls at the counter did look great. We will give this place another try. When we were paying the young man at the counter was very friendly & we ended up buying some wonderful, if a little on the pricey side, sodas from Wisconsin.

I dont know what was worse, the 30 + minute wait for undercooked food, the horrible wait staff, or the prices. The place is so disorganized its ridiculous. The waitress we got only showed up twice. Once to take our order and the second time to bring our under cooked chicken which we didnt eat. Then when I told her we were not eating that, she didnt apologize for even bringing it to the table, and didnt ask if she could bring us something else. I almost forgot to mention the noise level in there and the awful music (?) that was playing. Our waitress didnt even comp us the iced tea my husband got. We paid almost $3 for one glass. After paying I asked her when they opened for breakfast. She said 8 oclock.... they actually open at 7. Save yourself some money, time and aggravation and eat someplace else. The only reason we even went there was because we had a Groupon certificate that we bought for Polonia, which abruptly closed its doors and Groupon said we HAD to use it at Biscuits or lose our money. So I guess weve lost our money. We wont be using Groupon again or going to Biscuits.

I ordered food to-go for breakfast. I had the Breakfast Feast with Challah French toast sausage links and scrambled eggs with cheese and a side of bacon. The only thing worth putting in my mouth was the scrambled eggs. The French toast didnt even taste like there was anything on it. The bacon was terrible. It tasted and smelled like it was refried in dirty oil. Why would anyone cook it in oil when it makes its own oil? No clue unless it was fried and then refried to refresh it for serving. It was gross. The sausage is the fake microwave kind. There was no casing on the sausage. I was thoroughly disappointed. I shouldve known something was up when I ordered it at 11:07 am and by 11:12 it was done. Fresh bacon can take anywhere from 5-7 minutes alone and French toast can take around 10 minutes to make. I will never return I wasted money and food and there are starving children around the world so now I feel bad. Thanks Biscuits for the disappointment and now the guilt.

Grossly understaffed. One waitress, one chef- both very hard working. Dishwasher called upon to serve drinks. Food was very good, however several items not available because they "ran out"; and that included the bread which is one of the reasons I used to like going to this place when it was called Pelonia in a different building. Overall dining was over 2 hours, most of that waiting time. What a shame the owners not observant enough to notice this will destroy their business (weve be coming for years). We have decided to give the restaurant one more try, but if after that we have a similar experience- no matter how delicious the food is- we will not go again.

We heard the Polonia and Biscuits merged together so we had try out both breakfast and lunch/dinner. So happy that weve officially found a new weekly tradition. We keep bringing more and more family and friends back. I always get the biscuits and gravy with kielbasa sausage and challah bread. Others insist the waffles and honestly potatoes are the best. Dinner and lunch Ive tried some of the Polonia classics and their new burgers are REALLY good! Servers are awesome and make you feel like a regular right away. Definitely enjoy supporting the owners as you can tell they are working hard to make everyone happy. 5 stars!

A sign on the door reads "not reopening" Its too bad, the food was very good, the service slow. Attention restaurant owners: Sit down table service is dead! Nobody wants to wait, and then pay a tip. The most recent successful restaurants are ALL counter service! Fill your own drink save time save money. Look no further than Cubans on the run, ZaZa, 4rivers (not a fan of their food myself ) Perhaps a smaller version of Polonia with self service, in a better location may work!

Now known as Polska biscuits, the menu is the same as the Polish restaurant that used to be in front. My husband and I stopped in one evening to get desert as a special treat. There are not a lot of places where you can sit at the counter and enjoy a fresh baked desert in the area. We shared a coconut peach cheesecake and German chocolate cake. The deserts change daily. It was a bit pricy for our budgets, but really I think appropriately priced for the quality.

Service was not good our server seemed to be bothered, no smile, no eye contact, and not very knowledgeable about the menu or suggestions. Food was okay at the best. Sausage gravy was country gravy with kielbasa cut up in it. I was disappointed especially when I found out that it was the owners of another restaurant that we enjoyed. I would not go back or recommend this for breakfast. Maybe dinner would be better.

Had breakfast there. Enjoyed the food. It was all fresh and totally delicious. The waitress (Sharon, I believe) was super nice, too. I read some of the reviews, and true, its not as affordable as your average greasy spoon or fast food restaurant, but this place is certainly not either of those. If you are looking for amazingly good food and friendly service... This is your place.
