My boyfriend and I saw the great reviews for this place and decided to go since I love Mexican food and he likes it. My food that I got was decent/alright, but his food was disgusting. It left that weird after taste of.. manure in your mouth that sometimes food leaves. If youve ever had this happen to you, then youll know the taste I mean. Our waitress was also pretty bad, and she never even came back in the end. We sat around for about 30 minutes basically waiting for the check that never came, so we ended up going to the counter to pay without it, and they didnt have it either and had to go hunt it down. I wouldnt recommend this place. The best Mexican Ive had around here is in Strongsville so far.

The place was empty so we were a little apprehensive. Good service, good specials. Individual treys for salsa, which I like, that way each person can spice it to their liking. Salsa very good, flavorful. Margarita pitcher was 17.50 very decent size, and there was definitely tequila in them. The color was off, it was turquoise, kinda synthetic looking. They were ok tho. I would probably try a different flavor next time. My fajitas were very decent, they didnt come out smoking, but were perfectly cooked. Id for sure eat here again. My buddy got a quesadilla that looked really good, and my other buddy got a burroto that he enjoyed.

Please bring back El Tolteca! First off consistency with a restaurant is EVERYTHING! They do not have a website nor do they have carry out menus so I am having to view El Tolteca menu but the prices on average are $2.00 higher. I called to place an order and I received 2 different prices for the same exact order! When picking up my food it was not correct. When letting them know so they can make corrections I received rude push back. A group of us works at Kaybank in which the location is perfect but we are all on the same page as a review for this restaurant. NEVER AGAIN! I would rather go to chipotle.

Food is good but way to expensive. The food never used to be as much as it was before. The people serving should learn better English as well. Its very hard to make a request and understand accent. I understand this is a Mexican restaurant but surely this restaurant is in America and I expect better communication and service.

The staff was rude and had an excuse for why the food was cold...the server tried to tell me the reason why the tacos were cold is cause they just put the lettuce and cheese on it and the my boyfriend ask for shredded beef and he got cubed steak and his sons nachos had cold chicken....that was are first time there and last.

HORRIBLE customer service. Called ahead for carryout. Was hung up on. Told him he hung up when calling back and he said "yea I know". Went to pick order up waited over 15 mins with no explanation of why I was waiting after I called an hour earlier. Walked out and will not return. Wouldnt allow me to post no stars.

Not worth going. Order wrong, server wasnt knowledgeable and appeared to lack care or effort. Menu options not great. Special section small and liquor over priced. Overall, if you can go somewhere else do not go here. But, if you got 10 bucks and want to have a couple beers, chips and salsa go for it!

Food was good (cheese quesadilla was the best part) and reasonably priced. Staff was slighty curt despite not being very busy. Nice looking place despite the booth covering we sat in was torn and had some shredded red duct tape slapped on it. Alcohol options unknown, didnt drink.

I have been to Cozumel , Nuevo Acapulco, Mexican Village, and Momocho. For the most bang for the buck you cant beat this place. Yes Momocho is amazing....But you will pay. If you want good mexican food and great margaritas at a great price..... Then go to El Tolteca.

Me and my gf went there and my burrito was soggy and the steak tasted like ground beef. My gfs tacos were nothing but lettace and hard shells where even soggy too. Want real mexican food go to mi pueblo by w.117th on lorain rd take my word for it its A LOT better.

Came out on a Thursday for dinner for my birthday with the wife and enjoyed the patio. Staff was pleasant food was great Coronas were cold. Will definitely come back! This place was called Tolteca before, wasnt to crazy about it then.

Third incarnation of the Mexican restaurant at Biddulph Plaza is a major disappointment. We were dissatisfied with the service, the food and my margarita. Even though its convenience and affordability are plusses, we wont be back.

This place is delicious! Service is friendly. Everything I have tried so far has been very tasty; flautas, fajitas, chorizo, burritos, churros - all great! This is one of the most authentic Texmex places in the area!

The salsa tasted like tomato sauce with a touch of cilantro and the tacos were quite bland. I think there are new owners with new recipes. I used to love this place, but now Im not a fan.
