What a shame. After giving up eating there because of the constant 1 to 2 hour wait for our food and poor service we thought that we would order our food to go and enjoy it on our boat. What a mistake! Us and another couple picked up our food and proceeded back to our boat for a evening boat ride. After getting out on the lake I discovered that my wedge salad had No bacon ,No cheese and No hard boiled egg. The dressing was like water. With the chicken I ordered on the salad it was now a $12.00 wedge salad. I then turned the boat around to go back. After telling the girl about all the missing items she asked me "DO YOU WANT THEM?" I told her well yes! She then returned with a pill cup of bacon and one of cheese. I then asked where is the egg? She then told me that they were out of eggs. This girl got a real attitude and told me she can refund the price of the egg. Why do they have such a problem running a restaurant at such a beautiful location? I would NOT recommend this place at all. I wish somebody would put a decent restaurant on Portage Lakes!

Absolutely worst service I have ever had anywhere before. Food was good but the wait staff just dont seem to care. Had a tab with the bartender and when I closed out everything was fine, well the next day when I checked my bank account I was charged twice for everything. I contacted my bank they explained was not on their end it was the restaurants doing. Went to the restaurant to get taken care of, manager told me it was something with my bank. I explained that it wasnt I had already talked to my bank. Manager said oh well it should be okay in a day or 2. A week later still nothing, went back in talked to same manager, and he literally asked me well what do you want me to do?? Didnt even try to do anything to smooth over the problem. A week and half till I got my money back. Sad because this is a great location but terrible staffing.

My family came on the weekend of Memorial Day. We knew we would be waiting a while and were told that. We waited nearly 2 hours for all of our food to come out. They had one waitress who said it was her first day. They finally brought out my meal and the rice in the wrap was not edible (hard rice, are you flipping kidding me?!?!)... So instead I order wings. Wait nearly an hour for my wings.... Manager "bartender" comes over to talk to us and my mom is trying to keep her cool. He was very rude saying "thats just how it is sometimes". I said forget the wings, I dont even want them anymore. After sitting there for over 2 hours I didnt eat anything. Horrible business. On a holiday, you should have extra people and be prepared for this.

After sitting on the deck for 5 minutes without any service I walked up to the outside bar tender and asked about menus and service. He was polite and said "Ill get some more menus and be right out" I say back down with my fiance and future brother-in-law (who was in town for the weekend) and we watched the bar tender refill all the drinks at the bar (maybe 6 people) at least twice, clear away empty bottles, hang out with people he knew at the bar, and never make any eye contact with us. After 15 minutes of being intentionally ignored, we left. Pretty sure they didnt even know we were walking out with no service.

Could be so much more with the great view and facilities. The hostess was nice and sweet. They had a 20 minute wait with many seats available in and outside, so they were clearly understaffed. So, we sat at the outside bar which gave us a good view of the lake, but once we order our drinks, I had to give a cc to open a tab before i could order food. Really! It was 6pm. This definitely gave them stike two for me. The food was your typical bar food and would rate below average, nothing special, not to mention they were out of a couple appetizer that we asked for. Strike 3. We wont be back anytime soon, if ever.

Very poorly ran by a drunken obnoxious owner.. Food took over an hour to get to the table, with hardly anyone there. Cancelled the food after waiting for 55 minutes, they still brought it to me and expected me to pay. Asked for the manager and got the owner who was drunk, lacked basic hygiene and wearing a Walmart sweat suit.. He proceeded to tell me that this on tap isnt the same as the others and if we expected to get our meals quickly, that maybe this isnt the place for you. I wont be going back and Im definitely disappointed in the on tap franchise.

Havent been here in a while because of my last experiences but I decided to give it another try, shame on me. I love the view here which is probably what keeps bringing me back. I wish someone that knows how to run a bar/grill would take over this place. I ordered the fish tacos, and found something in them that I was not expecting. Who doesnt want the jagged plastic cap from the horrid sauce they use in their taco? Not the sauce, the cap, in my taco. Thanks for the comp it shows me that you have a soul, but m not coming back.

Went here last night for dinner around 7:30 there were only 12 people eating there max and still took over an hour for our food. We ordered a quesadilla and a salad. To top it off one of us has been sick all morning assumingly from the salad. Honestly the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I feel awful because I picked the place. Never again will I go back there. Apparently they are too busy tending to the people downstairs there for the band than to care about the people there for dinner.

Food was good. Service outside was very slow. Lunch took almost 2 hours for the six of us. Waiter spilled drinks on me. Although he apologized and brought me a towel, no one from management ever approached us to offer an apology or inquire about the incident. Other four friends from out of town could not believe that no one came to the table from management. May return because there are few restaurants on the lakes that have docks for boats, but wish they would get their act together.

Went for late lunch on memorial day. Beautiful weather it was packed. Our server Zack waz a very polite young man! When my son got his cheeseburger he got an added condiment..the paper from the cheese. Zack was very apologetic, certainly not his error! Later owner ? manager?came and joked we did not need to pay extra for this. Maybe Im wrong but feel he should have at least comped my sons meal? Understand very busy day but customer satisfaction should always be considered.
