I should have written this a long time ago but oh well. I believe it was two Christmass ago. My partner and I went to KHB for dinner. Nothing unusal when we enetered. However when I was getting food from the buffet, I noticed everything was heavily coated in thick oil. Even the egg drop soup was thick and oily. I grabbed a few items I thought were edible. I think I had the sushi too. Anyway, I felt nasty afterwards and paid (before or after, forgot how it worked there) and on the way out noticed a dead fish in their fish pond. Honestly, I should have taken that as a sign for what was to come. The evening went fine but the next day--- I should point out that this happened during finals week---was the start of suffering week long runs and it was so painful, I could not move while I sat down while studying for it trigger the rush of the runs. I will never eat there again. As for my finals, they went fine.

King house buffet is by far the best chinese in the FM area. You may ask yourself "Why should I believe you?" I am more than happy to tell you. The food is always fresh and the atmosphere is great! They have perfected their flavors. AND out of all the chinese digs in town neither my daughter nor I have EVER gotten sick from their food. for those of you who know, it is not fun to get sick from asian food. Over the years i have tried to "branch out" to other chinese buffets only to pay for it a few hours later with unpleasant side affects. THE KING HOUSE HAS NEVER GOTTEN US SICK AND THE FOOD IS AWESOME AND THE PRICES ARE EXCELLENT!!! did i mention the decor

If youre looking for a sit down, buffet style restaurant that has American-style Chinese food (authenticity is not in evidence here) and youd like an upgrade from Panda Express, here you are. You wont get your socks blown off, but itll give you decent food and youll probably be back. Just be aware, with the exception of the register staff, all the other employees appear to be positively angry that youve dared to invade their dimly lit lair. But they dont bite (yet anyway).

Great buffet at a very cheap price(though they increased the price a little, recently). The service is ok. Among the appetizers, youd love the lobster roll, chicken wings and onion rings. Among the main courses, the Surimi(sea food dish), shrimp dishes and pepper chicken is lovable. They also have a decent collection of desserts including cream rolls, moose and a salad bar. Better go at 7ish for dinner cause the food is hotter around that time.

The place is dirty! Been there with my family once and we never come back.Food is cold and the staff are standing in front of the food staring at you while you are trying to get the food you want. Im like what the heck! Why are there people staring at us while getting the food? Did not each much bec place is so dirty, especially the sink. Its disgusting! Go to Super Buffet instead. The place clean and food is Good and fresh!

One of the better Chinese buffets in the Fargo area. They have a decent selection of dishes and the staff does a good job of keeping the food stocked and fresh. They are able to seat a large amount of people too so not very much wait times. The food quality wont blow you away but its not bad either. The cream cheese wontons are amazing. Would recommend this place if youre downtown and in the mood for Chinese buffet.

Food was not fit for human consumption was terribly expensive the whole time I was there they were trying to mop and clean around me so that they can go home I told the guy at the register the food was terrible he smiled said thank you have a good night I said you speak English she said yeah I have a good day I said dude the food was terrible I think I got food poisoning he said you dont like to food dont come back

This has long been my favorite Asian cuisine buffet for years. Ive tried a lot of various buffets around the midwest in the past decade, and I keep finding myself longing for good ol King House. They offer a lot of the same dishes youll find elsewhere, but they seem to be a bit better than others. They also have quite a few unique dishes Ive never found anywhere else. Great place!

You pay ten dollars when you walk in and have access to all the food. The food here has been consistently delicious for years. I love going here to get a variety of foods - fried foods like eggrolls and wontons, tots, potato wedges. Stir fry foods. Salad bar. Ice cream machine. My favorite dish is the beef and broccoli. I get cravings for it randomly and have to go back. Yummm!

I had the misfortune of dining at King House today. Tonight, my stomach is very, very angry. The food was lukewarm, at best. When we complained, the little Asian woman insisted everything was hot, touching every pan and saying, "See? Hot!" They also suggested that they had a microwave we could use. The whole staff started arguing with us and we eventually left.

King House is the best Chinese buffet in Fargo. Its only $10 a person, and they have a discount for students! Its always clean and quiet when Ive been there. Ive never had an issue with food being empty or cold, and the service is friendly and helpful. The little bridge at the entrance is a fun touch to the atmosphere. Great spot for dinner in downtown Fargo!

The whole place needs a deep clean. Stains on the walls, decorations are either broken or falling apart. But the staff was great and the food was decent for a buffet, although a large majority (around 90%) was fried, which I guess is typical for American Chinese. The staff was also eating while we were there, which I took as a good sign.

We stayed overnight in Fargo and wanted something that delivered. This place was great! We got vegetable lo mein, sweet sour chicken, egg drop soup, egg rolls and stirfry chicken with pineapple and it was all fantastic! They also made sure we had enough napkins and forks and delivered right to our hotel room door. Awesome!!

Eaten here many times. Food is meh. Workers are incompetent and rude. Called to place an order, had a question about an item, they sighed loudly and started telling me that they dont know whats in the food they havent worked there very long and when i suggested they ask someone else they laughed and said no. Seriously????

Excellent food at a reasonable price. Reduced price for lunch. Great atmosphere and all you can eat food. The honey chicken and pepper chicken is delicious! Just pay attention to what time youre going. Like any other buffet, the freshest food is during their busy times around noon and six pm.

All of the food was cold and tasted old. When I told the staff I wanted a refund after not even finishing one serving of food, the staff accused me of getting multiple plates of food. I had only been there 5 minutes, and the claim was ridiculous, overall, terrible customer service and food.
