Waitress was rude, insisted we order drinks after wed asked for time, then arrived as we were in conversation, immediately pouring my beer into a frozen glass - beer that is traditionally drank warm, which I had specifically ordered because I have sensitive dental work and cannot drink anything that degree of cold. When I told her I didnt want it served that way, she said "thats the way we do it here." I said I didnt want it that way and she said WOW. No opportunity to serve the warm beer Id ordered, so we left without ordering. Very disappointed because wed had an enjoyable lunch there. The WOW turned me off of this restaurant permanently. This is DFW, there are many other places that know the meaning of hospitality and the quality of the beverage they serve. It wasnt Dicks Last Resort where you go to be demeaned by the staff. Its purported to be a Japanese restaurant yet serves a Japanese beer like a Busch Light. I will not go back.

I was in town for the 4th of July and stopped here before going to see the fireworks. I have had sushi many different places (Japan included) and this was by far one of my favorites! My 4 year old has a certain kind of sushi roll she orders and some places really mess it up! I told the waitress what it was and they made it for her and she LOVED it! The atmosphere was great and the staff was so nice. The food was all delicious and prices were very reasonable for sushi. I only wish I didnt live 5 hours away. I would definitely be back on a regular basis if I lived closer!!

I have been to the Fish and Knife Several Times, each time I am greeted on a first name basis and the owner "Sam" and his wife take very good care of me. The Sushi is Awesome and Extremely Fresh. The Sushi chefs are extremely knowledgeable of the types of fish and the contents of all the sushi rolls and combination there of. On occasions i have strayed from the menu and Sam has made me what i asked for without any issues. Will definitely return !!!! Love the Place!! Carl, Justin Texas

Good Sushi for a good price. Ive been here 3-4 times and the food has always been good; the service was sub-par one time, but Ill still come back. We moved here from Oregon about two years ago and we have been spoiled with great sushi for a great price. Moving to Texas we quickly found if you wanted decent sushi you had to spend a lot more than I was used to. Fish and Knife seemed to be a good middle ground.

The food was pretty good. Steak was cooked perfect, but chicken was a tad dry. All of the sushi rolls we had were excellent as well. The only problem was that when we went, it was completely dead, and the waitress could not understand us very well. When orders started coming out with missing or wrong items, someone else stepped in to make sure they heard us right, so it ended up fine!

Honestly, Im not really sure why people give this place 3+ stars. The food is slightly edible. The delivery fee of $5 is stupid. Customer service is hit or miss. Ive ordered a few different times. All different dishes, hoping that Id find something worth the high price. Simply because I work long hours and its easier for me. Well, tonight was my last order.

BEST SUSHI IN TOWN. My huaband is Korean, and I speak fluent Japanese and worked in a seafood fine dining restaurant before; needless to say, we are very picky about our asain food, but this place passes with flying colors!! It is so fresh, and they even deliver with 5 miles. Try the fish cakes-- its litetally my favorite thing about Trophy Club.

Ordered teriyaki and tempura and only received teriyaki (turned out to be stir-fry and not teriyaki sauce!) When the menu says "Teriyaki and Tempura" it means "or." When I complained, waitress continued to insist that I didnt understand the words on the menu. Also expensive ($13 for stir fry).

Ordered standard fare in the terms of Philly Rolls and their house soup. I also ordered an American Dream roll off of the special roll menu. The sushi was fantastic, and I ordered a 2nd bowl of soup, as it had a wonderful taste and a bit of spice you dont find with most broths.

Service was slow, the lemonade was very watered down, the quality of the food was not worth the price paid. I got a Spider Roll and Fish Cake - no avocado, the wife got the Rainbow And the Salmon Roll, overall it was bland. Dont waste your time here, go to Sushi Zen.

I was really excited to eat this but when my rolls came out there were pretty small in size. Then when I looked at the portions inside the roll I was saddened...My California roll consisted of 75% cucumber 15% avocado and 10% crab. I left disappointed...

One of the few sushi places in the Trophy Club-Roanoke area with all of the typical Japanese food staples on the menu. Great for takeout if you live nearby. The interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated and service is polite.

The Scallops Bento Box was very tasty! Probably the best California roll Ive had, and some of the best grilled scallops Ive ever had, even growing up on the Gulf Coast :-)

Went for dinner and had the King Kong roll. Enjoyed it very much. The service was excellent and the decor was very nice. At 7:30 we were the only people there.

Sushi is pretty good but prices are a bit high if your not eating for lunch and there seems to be a constant smell or sewer or something that is not pleasant

Great service and fast! Sushi is tasty at a decent price, and I like the vibe. Gotten pickup too, just as tasty. Only thing I didnt like was the tap water.

The Appetizer "A11:Fish & Knife stuffed crab" was most excellent. (Snow crab, avocado, cream cheese, in the jalapeno and then slightly deep-fried)
