I honestly am torn between giving this bar the recognition it deserves and keeping it hidden as a wonderful secret spot in Winston. I love the staff here, who are knowledgeable, courteous, and honestly care how youre doing. Youre made to feel like a regular on day one. The crowd is always small but courteous and friendly. Well-behaved dogs are welcome and theres an open patio for smokers that is steps away from the bar itself. The place is cozy and small, but its not lacking in anything but a kitchen. While I wish food was always available, the staff have no issue with you bringing in outside food, and they prepare food for Trivia Tuesdays. This is a perfect mix between classy and casual. Dont expect a raging party or rowdy customers, because its not that kind of bar. What you will find is a wonderfully friendly crowd of interesting people, a personable and experienced bartender, and a great time.

The Tap is a great to be in Wiinston-salem. You will always be in peace or surrounded by great people that you never met. The service is super, the atmosphere is great, the energy is awesome. I am a great fan. Congrats guys you did an awesome job! Pedro a friend of the Tap and the people in it.

Standard neighborhood bar with its regulars. Late night can get fairly hectic. Cheapest drinks in West end, okay selection of craft beer, standard liquor selection with a couple handpicked specialties. Overall, great place. Would reccomend.

One of my co-workers, Sarah, put together a work dinner/party at this pub. We had such a great time! The beer menu was great. The staff were fun and warm. The atmosphere is casual, but cozy. Loved it!
