My family and I went it for dinner here to have a nice meal. Everything was going good. Until my food came out and there was a big hair in the middle of my burger. I right away told the waitress. I just wanted a new one. When I looked over at her talking to the cooks they all found it very ammuseeing. So I called her back over because I no longer wanted anything they were going to be making. The rest of the experience that night in this dinner was all three cooks staring at me and giving me dirty looks. I was very dissaponted in this seeing how we are new to the area and was just trying to find a good family spot. Due to this I will never come here again. I would rather spend less money at a fast food place then. Have such horrible service. I wouldnt suggest coming here unless you want a big hair placed on top of your burger. God knows what else they put in it. Yuck!!!! :(

Love the fries not greesy. The price is way much higher $8.00 for cheesburger,fries and a drink! The hamburger did have a great taste but meat was not 100% because of a partical in it like grissel.Lettuce very soggy, the bun was very wet soggy it fell apart on bottom as I bot into it. I took the lettuce off. The menue said $ 6.00 and something dont have in front of me, it was a order from my work. I guess we had an old menue. Burger King advertising two woppers for $ 6.00 " which its definitely not on my top list anyway. I guess i am way to picky. 1st time I ordered from there. Custard frozen is the best of all !

The food is good, when you get it. My previous order was a to-go wing basket. I get back and no sauce. Just dry wings. My family and I try tonight. We sat down and were handed menus. No drink orders. No nobody. We sat there and tried to be polite. Im not going to be impolite. Im not going to take that tone, I shouldnt have to. Were trying to have a fun family dinner together. We got up and left, nobody even cared. Good food, just inaccessible. The owner is nice and I might try again, but hes got a major problem with his service.

My experience started in the parking lot waiting to turn into a parking space, only to have what I later found out was one of their servers cut me off and take it. Went inside and sat down, three servers stood at the counter talking. We were not greeted at all, no menus, nothing. we sat patiently for about 4 minutes with not so much as a hello. We finally got up and left. You have to at least try to help your customers.

Well it took awhile to get service....food was good.....took even longer to pay our check. The owner was on the phone the whole time and offered no assistance to his employees. Sit at the bar next time...maybe things will be quicker. They need to understand that most people only have 30 to 45 for lunch. Get in and get out. Food was good.....just allow time for service and checkout. Thanks.

Fun atmosphere and great food. Hwy 55 is very friendly family. It never seems to be overcrowded, but they stay busy. The staff is always friendly and service is quick. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the amount of food you get. Love the gravy fries, burgers are awesome and the shakes are huge! A little off the beaten path, but worth it for the food and 50s atmosphere.

I had the poor boy but the wait was an hour and a half for lunch not worth it for the wait and for the price. This is an above-average place on price and a below-average place for service. The length of time to get food is unacceptable for a place like this to stay in business long term. No plans to go back ever.

Ii enjoy every time I eat at hwy 55 great service and great food me and my college buddys choose to eat there alot on our lunch between morning and evening classes and me and my family have went there many times for dinner together and never had any issues we enjoyed the nice down to earth atmosphere of the place

Extremely slow service. A total of 4 tables with customers and took 35 minutes to get 2 phillys. IF the cooks would focus on their job instead of talking they could can it done. Asked why it took so long and server said we had two tables in front of us...2. Food is decent but dont be in a hurry.

Great, no frill burger, fries and soda shop with a 50s theme. Only thing to make this perfect would be to embrace the theme and have staff in appropriate garb. Shrimp po boy was delicious (would love a spicy version), paired with some yummy, crispy onion rings.

Nice retro sort of vibe, great burgers and frozen custard. The staff is always friendly, no matter how busy they are. My son loves the little cardboard cars the kids meals come in. We have been here a few times so far and have never had a bad experience.

Great food and amazing service...but it was so hot inside! According to the thermostat on the wall it was 84 degrees! It was at 3pm, with not a lot of people...cant imagine what it would be like packed with people!

Great old school atmosphere and great service, the food is just simply not good. The chicken sandwiches were dry and the fries very underwhelming. In a saturated market, this place doesnt stand out.
