Was an ok experience for my husband and I. We have never had indian food before but wanted to try. We went on a Sunday evening around 6 and when we walked in the place was absolutely empty. So much that no one was there to greet us at the door even. We stood at the front for a good 2-3 minutes, thinking maybe we were mistaken and maybe they were closed for some reason before an older gentleman walked out. My husband said he looked right at him and then went to straighten a table for another 30 seconds before waking over to greet and seat us. He walked away for another 2-3 minutes before coming back with menus and then left again without taking our drink order. After another 5 mins or so the gentleman came back and took our order. We tried striking up conversation with him about how it was our first time having indian but he was not interested in small talk at all. He simply took our order and left. A younger man brought us our food about 10 minutes later. He was very polite and helpful, refilling our drinks often As coming back two or three times to ask how everything was and if we needed anything else. The food itself was ok. All of their chicken dishes are $14. I got chicken korsa and my husband got tika monsala. It was served with a very large plate of rice. Both dishes were drowning in sauce. They were about five or so chicken chunks in both our meals. We felt for the price, we were left wanting. All in all I dont really understand the near perfect score this place has because we just didnt see it. Only thing I can figure is they have friends and family boosting reviews for them. The hospitality was VERY lacking and the food was just ok.

Not even worth a DOLLAR . Guys , FREE Advise. You will regret 100% , if you still order food here after reading this review. The reason we ordered food here was because of 1. Number of Positive reviews 2. Highly priced menu items(we thought of exceptional Quality) Biriyani and Rice- They are not made with Basmati. Regular some lengthy white rice boiled and tossed in some horrible Oil. They just add some masalas and Toss the white rice. Shrimp they added in the biriyani smelled horrible(I sm sure its cheap stuff bought from some Korean/chinese market). Chicken too - BIG pieces, It looks white but Its not good. I am Sure its from some cheap grocery store too. NAVARATNA biriyani , Oh my god , this was named just to attract people. Horrible veggies, No good ones all frozen. See the picture. They just add some color to the rice they put on top to make it look like dum biriyani. Naan - I am 200% sure, They are frozen. It smells bad. you can understand it when you eat it. Starters - We ordered only a Veggie bites, OLD stuff.

My boyfriend and I had never had Indian food before, so we thought going here would be a good experience. While, yes, the experience was good the food was more on the bleh side. The guy who seated us was very nice. Didnt talk much, but he was very nice. He seated us quickly, and took our drink order. We decided to go with the buffet. We were expecting large venue of choice, but were sadly disappointed with only a few. The few items we did try were covered in sauce. The food was okay. Thats mainly because there was waaaayyyy too much sauce on most of it. Then to top this all of 25 bucks for a lunch buffet? We got water! Not even Golden Carroll charges that much for their lunch buffet with two waters! Extremely over priced!!! Needless to say we wont be going back. We have no idea how they have a 4.8 rating. Also, we had to go get Chinese food directly after to get the taste out of our mouths. If anything DONT BELIEVE THE GOOGLE RATING!

I really really wanted to like it. It smelled great when we walked in, the staff was friendly. But the wait was very very long, and the food very very mediocre. The servings for $13.95 were lots of sauce very little chicken (chicken mahkani). the lamb josh rogan tasted like it was supposed to marinate but they skpped that step, maybe? Very bland.. Kitchen overwhelmed? the wait was 25 minutes at least (when I started counting). Lots of apologies but no offer of a glass of wine or any way of making it right. Im sure they are hard working people but I dont imagine they will be open much longer with this kind of service. The food has to be top notch to put up with that. I didnt know they had a buffet at lunch. Perhaps if we had tried that, we would have been happier? I see lots of other positive reviews.

If youre looking to be wowed by a flavorful, authentic Indian meal, look no further! This review comes from someone who has eaten at some of the best restaurants in INDIA. The service has always been as, if not more, exceptional than the meal. I read several reviews on here that absolutely baffle me. Customers claiming to have been disrespected by any staff at Nawabs must not have dined at the same restaurant that Ive been coming to for years. I am a server at a high end restaurant; I know good service when I experience it. Accusations of any level of disrespectful behavior from the staff at Nawabs is simply ludicrous and should be completely disregarded. If you dont believe me go see for yourself! Nawabs is the best!

I am so disappointed as I write this review. I have gone to Nawab every week for the past 3 months. They have great food, a little pricey but it was worth it. Today, I am eating with my boyfriend when I had to check on something for work on my phone. I was looking up something, I wasnt screaming into the phone to someone. Well, the manager/owner came over as I was still eating my second plate and took it saying that hed get my check. What?!? I was still in mid chew when he did this. The restaurant wasnt busy. We had only been at the booth for 35 mins. We actually wanted to order mango lasses. I couldnt even talk to the man taking my plate because I was stunned because it happened so quickly.

The food was ok. They did not keep up with the buffet. The naan was excellent but the service was poor. The man was too interested in his cell phone. He served a party of eight before my mom and I who had arrived earlier than them. The man made small talk but that was about it. People had to get up and interrupt him with his phone to ask for more water or naan. Again, the lunch buffet was ok but the service was poor. As I looked at the other reviews, I saw that a woman had posted about the man slapping her bum made me feel very uncomfortable after he kept asking questions about me, like my age and what school I went to. Definitely would not go back there.

Our waiter was gurnavtej Singh he was extremely rude to female customers. We were 1st customers to be seated but last to be waited on. We were friendly but the waiter spent the entire hour and a half on his cell phone. Please note this was a buffet but we felt like we had to beg for water and when asked for more bread the guy did not want to give it us. We asked for straws and he said I will only give it to you because asked. It is a shame that one person can hurt a business that much. Lunch buffet anywhere should never take 1 1/2hours. If you are a female do not go there. Not safe for any female customers
