I went to the Golden Corral this evening, Thursday, to celebrate Mothers Day early. When I went to the meat cutters window, he was busy working on his cooking. My husband and I waited and waited. After quite a while I asked if he had any rare steak. He barked at me to give him more time so I waited some more. When he finally came over, I again asked if he had a rare steak (the grills were full). He waved his arm and told me to move over to the side. I waited while he served 7 people (all men dont know if thats why or not) then he went past me to a couple and waited on them. By this time, I was pretty upset. I told him exactly what steak to give me and he reluctantly did and I then told him that I wanted some ribs. Instead of giving me the ribs, he again started serving the men coming to the front window. By that time, I was really upset and told him I would cut the ribs myself and so he did cut me some but laughed at me with a customer. This guy either hates older women or is some kind of a nut. It will be a long time before you see me again if ever!!!

This is the worst Golden Coral Ive ever been to. The food is sub par at best. Nothing had any flavor. The kids didnt even want their deserts after one bite. The drinks were watered down. Honestly Id give one star if I could. The facility is old and dirty. For the price youre better off going to a local grocery store and picking up a chicken and some sides. However the chef working with the meats is doing phenomenal with what hes been given to work with. Everything in his section was tender and cooked to perfection.

Great selection of good foods! Went for Mothers Day and had no trouble getting a decent table. Waiter was good. Decor was fine. Mac n cheese, roast beef with carrots and potatoes, and fried fish were delicious. Steak was good. Only thing I didnt like was the bland crab stuffed with stuffing and the pineapple cake in the cup was gross. The food was better than the Golden Corral in Jacksonville despite the fact this one has fewer choices.

As far as budget friendly buffets go, Golden Corral is consistently solid and family friendly. Staff kept my water filled and the cheeseburgers and collards are good. 3 and under is free and my youngest ate her weight in fruit, chicken, and chocolate covered strawberries. Black eyed peas and fried chicken for the oldest and baked fish and chickens kept number 2 in his seat. It may not be gourmet, but everyone finds something.

What do people with 1 star ratings expect from a golden coral buffet? You have variety, you have hot food and you have a good price. The service is always fair or nice, the portions are never empty. For the amount of people in and out of there everyday you cant expect pristine cleanliness. Its not going to be fine dining and to be honest, the place up the street with a 4.7 star average review is downright gross....

This has to be the best Golden Corral my family and I have ever visited. From the great well stocked fresh food and clean dining area to the upmost respectable staff with beautiful smiles for everyone, this was a great dining experience. It was very crowded which is no suprise on a Saturday night. The food is of ordinary quality, nothing special. I had some peel and eat boiled Shrimp and they tasted watery and bland. Some of the Shrimp tasted raw to me. The server was extremely busy but did stop to see if we needed anything. For two adults it was $35 which is a great deal here in Wilmington N.C. Overall not a bad place.

Gave it two tries and it utterly fails. Just look at the back of the chair seats with a black ring from years of grime and bacterial oxidation. The salt shaker was greasy, food was caked on bottom of plate and fork. Chairs and table were nasty and the geniuses even carpeted the place, probably the reason why it smells like a barn. If you are a farm animal you will love this place.

This was by far the best Golden Corral weve ever visited.The steak was grilled perfectly. It was seasoned perfectly and melted in our mouths.The vegetables were grilled to perfection as well. I loved the zucchini. Everything was excellent. Our server was professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend this Golden Corral.

Cant believe they closed the college rd one and left this place open. Old and dirty. 1 waitress in the place. The food was so bad did not even eat it. As I was getting some of what they call stake the so called cook was talking to a customer about how he got some good dope on randell street the other night. WILL NEVER GO AGAIN!

Youre really getting what you pay for here. Not the best gourmet food in the world, but still some good finds. Decor is about what you would expect from a buffet. The sign out front dictates what you see inside. As log as youre not seated by a group of screaming kids youre in the clear. Nice variety of food.

A lot of fried food but has a large variety of choices. Overall was what I expected and cant complain. Loved the fried chicken!!! One of my friends loved it and raves about the desert buffet whereas another was put off with the entire experience. If you are not a lover of a buffet, go at your own risk.

This is by far the worst golden corral. Me and my husband went a week ago and the food was horrible. Everything was cold and old tasting. It made me want to ask for my money back. I had to ask for a hot roll. Which everyone did. I had to ask for my lettuce. I will never be going here again.

My family and I paid 30 dollars for a lunch meal and when we arrived, half of the food containers were empty and the worker were too busy laughing and playing to refill them. Our waitress was phenomenal and was pleased with her. We will not be going back to this establishment.

This is a good place to get lots of food fast. The quality is average, the service depends on who you get, you can leave with cotton candy. Always a plus!! The ladies bathroom smells to the point that it makes me nauseous. This is one of my fathers favorite places.

WHY THE HELL DO THEY NOT have operating hours up anywhere on the site or when you call the restaurant thats ridiculous you cant even figure out what time they open or close because theres nothing on the site and nobody answers the phone when you call
