Not satisfied, I came here after my 4 year old begged me to for Valentines days because she loves the cotton candy and ice cream machine. After seeing that they would be serving scallops I said why not. Plus the one Ive been to in Frederick was pretty decent. I rather have taken my 26 dollars and gone to Texas roadhouse and gotten better food and service. So the food looked very old. Apparently the scallops have to be made to order and only the manager knows this. Seems that me asking for medium rare steak was a issue to the chief. Out of stock of most food. Salad bar was a good option at that point. Apparently they close everything down at 9. Ice Cream machine, desert, cotton candy machine at 9 even though the store sign says 10. Yass on top of that 2 feet away you can have someone walk around with a handheld broom sweeping dirt in the air. Finally ahhh desert yass desert after speaking about the fact that the cotton candy machine was closed earlier and ice cream machine, the waitress came out of nowhere with two bags of small cotton candy. After looking at the bags I noticed black stuff inside of the cotton candy. Now my poor kid is extremely upset and wont eat a thing until we leave and go taco bell and the gas station to get her food and cotton candy. I will say the manager tried to be very accommodating knowing what he faced and the fact that he had several other customers complaining as well. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy. Please dont waste your money!!!

Get in, get out...the entire mentality of all the staff. Hope bus loads of people dont arrive. Hope the cooks making the steaks know how to cook fatty meat. Hope the food isnt dried out or has nasty film on it from sitting hours. Hope the customers have a LITTLE common decency for others who are trying to eat. Hope there isnt horrible, loud music playing to drown out rude, overbearing customers. Hope theres fresh fruits, instead of rotten, brown, unripened nastiness. Hope that if you try to speak to someone with concerns, they actually give a f@$k. Hope that parents whom have no regard for others and let their children put their dirty, slobbered hands on the food and put it back. Hope that salmonella doesnt infest your intestines... All of this is true for the Tri-state area which includes.... Chambersburg, Pa., Hagerstown, Md. and Martinsburg, Wv. Good bye Golden Corral. Too many other options. Some of this could be overlooked as its buffet style... but the rude staff, mangers to the waiters...no way. Ill spend more money elsewhere so I can have a clean, safe, tasty, relaxing meal.... McDonalds is better than these feeding troughs... cattle get fed better and treated better than these locations...

The food is usually good, but the comment on very LOUD TWANGY MUSIC is right on!!!!! Just becuase we live in western Maryland, they assume we are all hillbillys! Honestly, the music is so abrasive it belongs in a honkeytonk bar with a spitoone at every table. Perhaps its their way of making sure you dont stay too long. We get full as quickly as possible and come with cotton in our ears. The other complaint is if you are misfortunate enough to be there when the busloads of people roll in. . . its an experience youll never forget (as in wear some shoulder pads to get in the food line). Yeehaw!!! No one will ever confuse the place as a casual or relaxing location.

Terrific all american food like spare ribs, fried chicken , steak and whole roasted turkey thanksgiving style every night , along with a loaded dessert bar with all kinds of cakes pies ,cookies ,fudge and ice cream. All you can eat for only about 12.00 plus a drink, less for children and seniors. Most of the items are delicious, as far as I am concerned its the best value you will find in any resterauant. If you want fancy cloth napkins, dishes you never heard of and stuff you cant pronounce keep going, but otherwise join me, Ill be chowing down on some of the best comfort food in Maryland at my favorite booth in the back.- Linda Mclaughlin

Our frequent "go-to" when we want quick food, a huge selection and no staring at a menu. Good-sized salad bar. You can eat healthy here or you can horribly indulge! Its a very large, modern Golden Corral, unlike any that Ive been to in other cities. Only complaint -- nonstop loud twangy country music. Anyone who weve taken here has complained about the loud country music, or wanted to leave. Lately theyve occasionally had classic rock or 50s rockabilly too. But for some reason its never loud and blasting like when the country is on!

Worst Golden Corral weve ever been to. The meat was too salty and had some kind of weird seasoning, lack of vegetables, poor service, overcharged. Overheard a customer being told they couldnt have more than one skewer of shrimp. Overheard another customer being told they couldnt have a high chair when there was plenty of room for one. Got tired of waiting for my drink so I got up and got my own. On the upside the blueberry pie was excellent and the restaurant was clean.

People let there little kids run around alone and the kids touch everything! I saw a kid about 4 years old run up, put a cookie in his mouth, then put it back up on the counter. After this I went up and told the girl behind the counter. She put the tray on the back table and later put the same tray of cookies back on the table without changing the cookies or anything! This is disgusting!! Will not be coming back!

My wife and I ate today 10/18/2016 , my birthday , I was disappointed with the meal . I had popcorn shrimp and fish , the fish wasnt done . My wife had chicken and mashed potatoes, the chicken wasnt done either . This was going to be a great day , but it wasnt, thanks Golden Corral. I deserve a free meal for this.

Not bad for the the cost these day. Had to try the prime rib. If you like it cut about 1/4 of a inch or less your in luck. When I asked if I could get a thicker cut she told me yes. Than just continued cutting a thin slice. I would not go back for the so called prime rib.

Food not very good. Shrimp from the grill with steak was cold even though there was a line waiting. Steak was burnt on the outside. They tried to cook thick steak too fast. ALL the food seemed to be rushed and no care put into it. I know it is a buffet but take some pride

Golden Corral was kept very clean and the employees or staff were very courteous and very helpful at all times. For the price I payed, I got "Steak & Shrimp" on the all-u-can-eat menu! Cant beat that with a stick!! Sorry, I forgot to take photos ....

Breakfast is great. Sometimes a little crowded for dinner. 1000 times better than Ryans. I agree with the comments about parents letting their kids run around, and I have joked with my wife several times about the "loud, twangy country music".

Lani is the best sever ever she makes our visits to golden corral great and is the main reason we keep going back. If there is ever an issue with our meal she helps to make it right anyway possible. Management is always helpful and friendly.
