When I walked in there was a young girl sitting at a table texting. After about a minute she came up with her phone in hand texting as my boyfriend and I discussed which flavor we wanted. After completing the text she was working on she put the phone in her pocket and asked what we wanted. She was not especially friendly or engaging. We ordered two cones one chocolate and one coconut. She grabbed a cone with no napkin but with her bare hand that she just was holding her phone with. She never washed her hands. She just handed it to me with no napkin. I grabbed a napkin to hold it. She then rang us up and took our cash and then took her phone back out and went to sit back down and started texting. The ice cream was not that great either. It was ok but not great. I would strongly suggest retraining the employees and hold them to higher standards. Texting is unprofessional and not washing your hands and touching food with your bare hands is unsanitary.

There are two reasons to go to this place. One, the ice cream is phenomenal. A triple scoop with a giant cone for 5 dollars? Yes please. Great tasting, such a variety of flavors, and a lovely atmosphere. The second reason is the employees are the kindest Ive ever met in my life. Me and my fiance went here a couple days ago, intending to eat some ice cream and leave. We ended up there for an hour just because of enjoyable conversation made by an employee, whose name was I believe Atlanta. Also, this woman saved me and my fiance a lot of money by informing us that our dinner plans were more costly than we knew, she recommended a different place and even offered a coupon. Where she recommended was so lovely, but not as charming as her ice cream parlor! We will definitely make this shop a regular for us.

Love this place. It is our must go to every year for our 2 week vacation for late night ice cream. Owner .... Atlanta is an awesome employee. Seriously wonderful experience coming in an having her help us. So good Ill wait for her next time to help me as it just that fun for the limited time Im there. Thursday 1/2 price Banana Split day is great as well.

This place is fantastic. The employees were friendly, prices were great (1/2 price banana splits on Thursday). Allanta and Scott were working the counter and went out of their way to make sure everyone got everything just the way they wanted. My wife said that, "The mint chocolate chip is heavenly." My kids couldnt speak because they were eating banana splits.

The Ole Fashion is definitely a local favorite. This family run business serves a wide variety of quality ice cream favorites with a smile. Be sure to stop in for Two Scoop Tuesday (2 scoops for the price of 1) or stop by on Thursdays for their 1/2 price banana splits. Any day of the week, youll LOVE this Myrtle Beach must visit.

The banana pudding ice cream and Italian Cream Cake were excellent! They give you samples of any flavor. The owner was really friendly. Went out of his way to find us a coupon book with a buy 1 get 1 for his ice cream!!

The ice crewm flavors were rich and smooth. I had the salty caramel truffle as a hand spun shake. My boyfriend enjoyed his blueberry cheesecake ice cream as a cone. Two scoop tuesday left our sweet tooth begging for more!
