What an absolutely terrible experience last night! I even waited a day to see if the frustration would wear off, but no luck. There was a 30-minute wait, but they said we could get full service on the patio so we did that. Clearly a mistake. We probably couldve waited the 30 minutes and still been out sooner. After waiting 10 minutes, no one had even come to wipe off our very nasty table, let alone given us menus, so I had to go in and ask the host to send someone. A server finally came out 5 minutes later. Another 10 minutes before she came to take our order, and my mother ordered a dessert appetizer. When that came out, the server just walked away. We had no silverware or napkins at all. After 5 minutes, my mom went in and told the host, "We dont have any silverware," and he said they dont keep any out on the patio. She asked if they usually dont give silverware when people have food, which he said no to and gave her silverware finally. Server came back 15 minutes later, asked how the app was, then left again. Didnt take our dinner order. She eventually came back, took that. When the food finally came out, shed swapped my mom and brothers burger cook temps with their toppings so they couldnt even swap plates, and my chicken teriyaki had macadamia nuts on top, though I asked for without. Normally Id take them off, but they were crumbled and all the teriyaki sauce was mixed in with it, and whats chicken teriyaki without teriyaki? So I ordered a replacement meal, burger with sauce on the side. Half an hour later, I got my burger, with sauce on it. THEN she finally brought the check and had charged all three burgers a surcharge for cheese even though it says specifically on the menu that they come with cheese. We were at this stupid place for TWO HOURS. The strawberry shortcake was good, burgers and fries mediocre. We wouldve had better food for a more reasonable price at Five Guys. We chose this place specifically for creme brulee, then didnt even have any because we couldnt wait to leave. Im a really chill person, and I understand when places are busy. But I can tell when theres not even an attempt being made. Its also pretty stupid that with six tables on the patio, there were still 4 or 5 servers going in an out. Why not have one server cover the patio? That seems like the logical solution. But we wont be returning.

I cashed in a bunch of rewards points, so we were able to go twice in one week. We should have learned from the first experience, and taken the remaining gift card balance to Outback or one of their other sister restaurants. Trip # 1 - the food was very good, but the service was very slow and unresponsive. We thought our screaming 1.5 year old might help expedite getting someone to the table to take our order, bring some bread - but I still had to flag down another waiter after we went probably 10 minutes without seeing ours. The delays in seeing our waiter, getting our food out promptly continued throughout the entire meal. Again - not a great recipe when trying to keep 2 little kids happy at lunchtime. Trip # 2 - we do enjoy the food at Bonefish, so we thought wed try it again, this time sans kids. Same experience with the wait staff. It actually took much longer, and our waitress did stop by 2 or 3 times (over 15-20 minutes) to tell us our food would be up any minute. The food didnt seem to taste as good - probably due to the frustration of the waiting time, and also due to the oversaturation of the sauce that I asked for on the side. I see similar comments by others regarding the service level at this location. Perhaps well try one of the other locations in the Triangle area next time. It is unfortunate, because as I mentioned earlier - weve always loved the food at Bonefish, and I dont remember these service issues in the past.

First this is not Rebecca, this is her husband Steve. She was logged in so I just decided to use her account for this. The food is awesome, we really enjoyed it. What we didnt like was the service. This started from the moment we walked in. We had a 6:30 reservation and was there are 6:20. We were told they were behind and it would be about 15 to 20 minutes, this wasnt what upset me, what upset me was a group that came at 6:30 and said they had a 6:15 reservation, they sat them first instead of making them wait. There is no way someone that comes late for a reservation should be able to sit before someone that is on time. The next thing was after they sat us, it took about 15 minutes before we even saw our waiter, Paul. Now Paul is a nice enough person, but I didnt really want to hear about how busy he was, its Mothers day, of course your going to be busy. The next thing was we had no silverware, my daughters boyfriend got up and went to the front and had to ask someone to bring us some. We also had no plates so when our starters got there, we had nothing to put them on. Then it took a while to get out main courses after we sat there for 30 minutes after the starters were done. We will be back for the food, but we will probably eat at the bar and not bother with the terrible service inside. I recommend bonefish for the food, but if you want good service, go somewhere else. Especially when you are paying what you are for the food.

We left and could not get good service. The hostess was on her cell telephone. And texting. We had to wait while she was finished. She not volunteer to wait on us. And would not speak to us. Took us to the table. And quick to get rid of us. And threw the menu on the table. A lotto good choices for lunch. And a good price of value. The decor is plain. Parking is a problem. It is a small space. The waitresses two would not come to our table. They would go to other tables. We had to ask to some one to wait on us. The one african american female came. she not want to write down the order. WE told her it is her job. She said would do it. She would talk rude to us, yell and interrupt us, rush to get rid of us, walk away from us while talking to us. And had to ask her to come back. eat food while wait on us. She brought us soft drinks. She gave us 3/4 ice. And we not ask for ice. She wouldnt volunteer to do anything for us. We had to ask her to do job. She brought appetizers that were on a full plate and cold. She would not wait on us anymore. She would wait on other tables. We called for manager. He said nothing is wrong. And we are the problem. And we told him we not pay for what was at the table. He yelled at us. That the service is good. Then we said we are leaving. And not have to pay. Because he yelled at us. And told him we are on time limit.
