Last Sunday, I visited "Another Broken Egg Cafe". The place was packed once we got there and we had no reservations made..For a party of 6 and 1 child, we waited 35 minutes to be seated, which wasnt unreasonable for the amount of people waiting before us. All the food came to the table, exactly as ordered, and nothing had gotten cold waiting for other dishes. Nothing had to be sent back or corrected which was nice for a change. This allowed everyone to begin eating at the same time which is ideal when you go to eat with a family sized group. Nothings worse than being hungry and watching someone else eat or, even worse, being hungry and receiving your food, then having to wait on others to receive their order before commencing. The servers were polite and knowledgeable of the menu, giving geniune, unbiased recommendations for those of us who were unsure of what to pick from the numerous tasty sounding options listed on the menu. This place offers a lot of brunch items with a twist you may not have had before..It was actually quite exciting, once we received our plates, everyone was pleased with their choices and offering it to others, saying " You have got to try this! Everything I put in my mouth was excellent. Compliments to the Chef!

We not pay for it. The same bad experience two times in a row. The same employees. The employees female not want to wait on female customer. They just run around and play with each other. We had to ask one of the waitress to help us. Not talk to us. Threw the menu on the table. And not come back. We got a credit through the credit agency. We had to ask the waitress to wait on us. She did nothing. She said not want to write down the order. Said not the job. We said it was. She did it. Talk rude, rush to get rid of us, interrupt, eat food while wait on us, try to stick sharp fingernail into the skin of our hands, yell at us, walk away while we trying to order and talk to her. It became a regular problem with her. She would walk away from us to talk to male tables. Gave us coffee and not come back to our table. We called the manager. Told her tired of her behavior. Manager said she not mean to do it We said not know what she is thinking in her head. And demanded free beverages. Manager came back to wait on us. For the remainder of meal. The value is good. Full plate of food on a big plate. And parking spaces are not many. The many dirty tables. Nobody clean it up.

Like others, I had to wait to be seated and watched others wait many minutes in the entryway until someone noticed. One thing met my expectations, the potatoes well-done. Ordered and came that way. However, two things disappointed me, the eggs and the cinnamon bun. After talking to one of the cooks who spotted me and seated me how I liked my onions, past carmelized to brown. I was understanding to him offering that the time to brown may be too long, he replied, "Oh no! Not with our gas stove!" I ordered my eggs exactly the same way, with onions past carmelized to brown. So, an egg lover omelette came out with barely carmelized onions and very, very few at that! Finally, I had ordered their highlighted cinnamon bun to arrive after the eggs were done -- without icing. It did arrive on time and as specified which is when I discovered there was almost NO cinnamon in it!! I bake my own and make cinnamon toast. This was ridiculous. it seems their famous buns use the sugar as a crutch to hide the lack of cinnamon! Suggest avoiding this place.

Disclaimer: I grew up in Johnsonville SC. I know breakfast! Call ahead to put your name down to avoid a long wait. I ordered the pancake trio. I tried the buttermilk, banana, and peach cobbler pancakes (theyre not like my Mamas pancakes) with turkey sausage and eggs. Im from Johnsonville SC and I dont like liquid eggs. If youre like me, request shelled eggs. They serve liquid eggs by default. The pancakes were "doughy" which isnt a complaint, just a description. My wife says I should describe them as "moist." I enjoyed the banana and peach cobbler pancakes. The turkey sausage was good. They gave a complimentary order of the biscuit beignets (sp) which reminded me of a doughy funnel cake. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. My waitress (Jennifer) was helpful. I wanted to try the city grits but they cook them with pork bacon which I do not eat. The overall experience was nice. I recommend it for breakfast. Coffee was great. Havent had their lunch.

Coming from a true Southerner, I had a hard time with my waitresss description of their food style as Lousiana/California blend. Im still not sure where the California aspect comes in, I had the biscuits and gravy which were perfectly southern. The food I have sampled here includes scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, sausage. gravy and biscuits, and all were exceptional. There is no doubt the food at Another Scrambled Egg is very good, but it is also very pricey. At $17 for my one meal plus tip, I will not be bring the family here too often. Located right underneath the Hyatt House at North Hills this is the place to go when you are really craving the best breakfast you can buy.

So let me start by saying Another Broken Egg in North Hills has some of the best shrimp and grits around. I called Another Broken Egg and no one answerd. I called again and was placed on hold for 8 mins, so I hung up and called back. The hostess, I suppose, answered and I asked her could I place my order with her or I would like to place it with the manager because I didnt want to be on hold for another 8 mins waiting for someone at the bar. She took my order and told me it would be 20-25 mins. I got there in 10 mins. I go to the bar and the Lady at the bar told me my order wasnt put in yet so just give her second. This isnt good customer service. Im very disappointed!

My family and I went here to eat brunch today. While the beignets were great, the Oscar Benedict was really bad. It was soupy, cold, and the steak was completely rare. After arguing with the waitress over whether the steak was rare or not, she finally took it back. The manager did bring my food out when it was finished, and apologized. She said she only charged us for half the price. I also had to remind the waitress three times that I ordered coffee. When she brought my husbands plate out, she tossed the potatoes everywhere, and had to be reminded to bring more out for him. They didnt come out until he was done eating. This was not a repeatable experience.

We normally go to the Morrisville location( and love it) but stopped at this one when we were nearby shopping. The service was great but the food was subpar. I ordered my usual favorite of eggs Blackstone Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was white and tasted like just butter. How can a sauce made from egg yolks be white? The bacon was cut in mini bits and sprinkled on top instead of slices. Barely had the equivalent of one piece and it tasted like salty ham because the smoked it way too long. My husband ordered the cinnamon roll French toast which was soggy and soaked in syrup. If you want a good breakfast, go to Morrisville and skip this location.
