I took my daughter for an early B-day dinner at Beef Burgers! We drove all the way to Greensboro just for the burgers! Its a really old 50s style place that my grandma took my dad to when he was 8. Me & My kids have always adored it and have missed it since we moved out to Mocksville! My son Brian got the chance to take his own son Zakk and his gf Haley there for the 1st time today with my mom, dad, and husband. They instantly fell in love! I thought it was neat that 4 generations of my family were there, but realized 5 generations of my fam have been enjoying Beef Burgers for over 50 yrs! In total, we all had 18 cheeseburgers dipped heavy in their secret sauce, 2 hot dogs, funnel fries and 6 large fries! Neither of these things can ever be beat by any other place! Been a long trip and a very long day, but so worth it! Every time we get out that way you can forget any other restaurant!

Love the food, price and service. It makes me want to go get one of the twin cheese with extra sause on it. Talking about the sause. They dip there burgers in a special sause that would blow you out of this world and crinkle fries, you cant go wroung there. They are like family to me. It doesnt help that my mom worked there for like six years when I was a kid. I would clean the parking lot just to get one of the burgers. The owner Ralf is great and always there. If you see him, you cant miss him, tall, with white hair and a big nose. So if you see him tell him Jacob said hey big nose and he will know who sent ya.

My fiancé told me that this was a historic, well loved restaraunt, so I was looking forward to trying it. We happen to be a biracial couple. Sandwich and side selections are great. The food was great, the lady who took our order was great I was disappointed in the employee who gave us our drinks (he happened to be black). He was friendly enough until he realized we were a couple, he got a bit of a nasty attitude. We were going to dine in but the tables werent clean and after the aforementioned incident didnt feel very comfortable so we took our food to go. I would have given 5 stars otherwise.

Youll know youre there when you find the building that looks like a 60s burger joint that been allowed to slip into condemned dilapidation. My brother took me here and told me not to worry about looks, the food was great. I got the Carolina burger, the portioning was weak and there was something hard in the meat like a chunk of glass or something. I found a hair in my onion rings, but it was nothing compared to the 6 inch monster in my brothers burger. Avoid this place. Theres no reason to eat here when theres great burger places like Emma Keys Flattop Burger or Hops within five minutes.

Used to go every week, was my favorite place for a burger til the incident! !! Ate there with coworkers after work. Finished our meals getting ready to leave and i go to get a refill of tea on my way out the door and as i wait to get a refill there are roaches crawling across the counter. So sad to say that is my final trip to Beef Burger after 20 plus yrs. Cant help it if i go back i know that is what i will think of so Ralph clean the place up before you lose more costumers !

Best fast food restaurant in the City! There is a wide variety of foods. The prices are reasonable. The owners are friendly people. I recommend this place to any and every one! Theres absolutely nothing wrong with the environment there. Old school is old school. Never forget from whence you came. Some of the finest restaurants have the worst kitchens. Pray about it and over it and enjoy it!

First discovered it when my now ex dragged me there 22 years ago, I still try to get there once a month or so. There is more than food, there is history and a quaint charm to the place. Ugly, maybe, but rotobroiled burgers do taste great and they offer some unusual selections you wont find anywhere else. It is like jumping back to 1965, but your taste buds wont mind.

The first time I went here I loved the burgers. The second time however they were less than appealing. If youre looking for a blast from the past joint then this is your stop, I just cant promise the quality of food you will receive. Also I would like to note, I dont always feel the safest when eating here. Something to consider if you have a family.

So many burgers, so little time. I love every little thing about this place down to the sign on the door that says (something like) "if yer drunk, eat somewhere else!" Just go there, and get a few different burgers, and bask in the burgerness! And i recommend everything, but especially the chuck wagon and the spam burger!

Two words: "Old School." Established in 1961, and still using the same roto_cooker, this place has not changed substantially in years. (Even the prices are very reasonable.) Its a trip to eat here, and they dont take reservations. What Greensboro has been enjoying for over 50 years.

Old as dirt, needs a facelift bad, but very essential to Greensboro. The burgers are the best ones ever. Appearance isnt everything. They can stand to learn to make milkshakes better, but the burgers make up for all of the flaws.

Burgers are okay, but the inside of this place is filthy. I realize this is an older restaurant and a Greensboro "landmark," but it needs an intense scrubbing. It grosses me out to know my food is cooked in such an environment.

My granddad and Is favorite lunch spot. Foods real cheap, employees are nice, theres a ton of history, AND the food is always piping hot and made to order. Cash only though, but totally worth it.

I went there once during "open hours". It was closed, there was a guy inside of it who wouldnt open the doors and would only stare at me, and theres a single messed up car in the dirty parking lot.

Biff Burger!! My parents started taking me there when I was a kid, now 51. name has changed but not the place. Great cheeseburgers and atmosphere! BTW- A scene from Bull Durham was shot there.

I was in line here one day, years ago, and the mayor of our city was in line in front of me- EVERYBODY goes to Beef Burger. It is kinda old, pardon RETRO, but it has tons of character!

Its very popular and pretty cheap. They take CASH ONLY, but have a sketchy ATM in their store. It doesnt look too clean and its a tad small but, great for quick on-the-run takeout food.
