Big Burger Spot is reasonably cheap, quick and good (relative to $5-7 burgers). While many restaurants nowadays have workers who show signs of impatience, this particular restaurant has wonderful customer service that exhibits calm composure during times of customer blunders. They are friendly, cooperative, and show obvious signs of successful teamwork, which is very much appreciated in the modern times of opportunist young adults. Though the staff was delightful, the food was average. They have a wide selection of toppings and menu items but the quantity easily exceeds the quality. The food itself showed no significance and the lack of specialty immediately dropped my opinion and future expectations. While the turkey burger was pristine, the angus beef could have easily been confused with the restaurants competitors and similar fast food establishments-- Five Guys, Cookout, Hops, etc., to mention it was also a tad dry. A restaurant must outshine its competition through a special "it" factor, a "Why should I go to Big Burger Spot?" Unfortunately, this chain lacks it. For comparison, I did not experience Egos epiphany and outburst of tastes when he took his initial bite into Remys ratatouille, seen in the infamous yet underrated Pixar film, Ratatouille. Many restaurant-goers may look at this restaurant and easily choose it for its convenience, but I do my best to refrain from participating in selling myself short for a quality, outstanding burger. But shall I come here again? Of course. Isnt that the underlying theme in the modern world? Convenience and cheap prices over achievable quality?

Visiting Greensboro area and thought I would try this out, based on reviews. Sign on building says Big Burger Spot, but I was told its the same as Guy & Jerrys Burger Spot. After having a big lunch, I didnt want quite as much for dinner, so I had the kids burger meal. Decent sized juicy patty even though it was cooked med. I usually prefer med rare. Huge list of free toppings include sauteed onions, mushrooms and the usual fare. Fries were good, since they are fried in peanut oil. Awesome sweet tea! Didnt care for the cheddar fries as it was just fries with nacho cheese(a bit skimpy) on them. I prefer shredded cheese baked on, but that may not be an option if they dont have a traditional oven. Chocolate Fudge brownie shake was very good, similar to DQ. I will definitely return when I have a bigger appetite, to try one of their specialty burgers.

If you like Hops, another local with some of the best burger in the nation, then youll want to try this too. My wife and I cant decide which one is better. We end up at Hops for dinner and a beer and Big Burger Spot for the occasional lunch. Truffle fries are a must here even without parmesan. It is small seating probably no more than 20-25 people at a time, but most people take it to go and I can always find a seat. Be sure to ask them for the fixings/toppings you like. Their recipes are great but rather than piling on toppings and you telling them what you dont want, they leave it open to you and give a long list of options for you to choose. One our twice I have forgotten this, and while the burger was great I was still wishing for some mayo, ketchup, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, etc.

What took me so long??? I am very embarassed to say that I am practically walking distance from this Gastro-Heaven. My wife and I tried it for the first time yesterday in honor of National Cheeseburger Day. My wife said that it was better than Cook Out and Five Guys combined. This is no lie. She had an Almost sized Angus Beef Classic and an almost side of seasoned fries. I had the Almost sized Bacon Burger with an order of almost specialty fries with garlic and parmasean. My, my, my. Fantastic food here. I even got the chance to sample the beef brisket. So many options here. We will be back and often. You wont be disappointed. Friendly service and worth the venture into the northern corners of Battleground Avenue to find it.

We just moved into the area and we drive by his little tiny place daily. First thoughts from looking at it were "gas station sushi" like in the TV commercial. We were craving a burger and looked at the reviews here and they were all great so we decided to give it a shot. As soon as we opened the car door we could smell tasty burgers!! The place is small, and not fancy, but the food is awesome!! I had a Big Classic Burger and my wife had the Texas Brisket, and they were excellent!! We also shared some of the garlic pesto fries and they were also amazing. Sometimes when I read these reviews I think they are written by friends and family of the owners, but this place is totally legit. We will be back and often

My first time visiting today was exemplar. The atmosphere and smell was very inviting. I was greeted by friendly employees and smiling faces. They have daily specials and most sandwiches are differentiated by either "Almost" or "BIG" I had the Patty Melt and it was really good. They offer 8 inside tables and a bar plus outside dining although you will need to wait inside to pickup your order. The wait for your food is acceptable as everything is cooked fresh to order. The taste and temperature of the food was great. I would advise anyone thinking about this establishment to stop by and give them a try. You will most likely not be disappointed.

How many burger joints patty their own beef fresh and never frozen? There are plenty of great burger restaurants in Greensboro but this is easily my favorite. From the fresh meat, large topping list - always fresh, surprisingly good salads, smoked brisket and fun staff, it has everything you want. Only gripe is the limited parking. You would think the Exxon next door would be a little happier about the business they bring. Stop blocking off so many spots and invite them inside instead! Keep up the good work Guy and staff.

I used to love getting burgers from here, but my last couple have definitely not been up to par. My last was very disappointing! It was thrown together like they were in such a hurry! They were apparently busy and very rushed! My chili cheeseburger barely had any chili or cheese and I had even asked for extra cheese. My guess is that they have gotten more popular and busy and are rushing through the order making process instead of taking the time that they used to. Not sure if I will go back!

Love this little spot! Burgers are awesome and their chicken sandwich is AMAZING! I always call my order in before I go because there is usually a line out the door but its well worth it. We order these burgers for lunch at least 2 times a week and the guy behind the desk knows my face and name...knowing that Im not placing an order he always calls me up and gets me out pretty quick! If I could give it more stars I absolutely would!

Went there for the first time to meet up with friends. I was not expecting much when I saw the place at first but boy, I was wrong! Best burgers and fries Ive had in a long time, and reasonable too! I had the Carolina burger with sweet potato fries. It was cooked to perfection and tasted awesome. My wife and I will definitely be going back when in Greensboro.
