Taking my daughter to camp in Hendersonville, North Carolina, she mentioned that this "town" had five separate Starbucks locations. Turns out these Starbucks are all inside Ingles Market grocery stores. Not a big problem for me as this will be one of the few times that I ever visit the store or this particular Starbucks. The lines were long and it took me almost 15 minutes to be served my "Bills Morning Start" - a six-shot Venti, four-pump Vanilla, one-pump Mocha, extra-fat, extra-hot, upside down latte. Initially the barista - I forgot her name - told me that I could not have a drink with more than four shots of espresso. She said it was Starbucks policy. I countered that it was NOT against Starbucks policy to serve six-shots - you just could not serve anything larger than 30 ounces of coffee to a customer at one time. I even told the barista that if she Googled "Most Expensive Starbucks Drink," she would see my mugshot and my 101 shot Mega Grande Latte. Needless to say, she wasnt impressed. A manager came over - a blonde female - and stated that I was correct and could be served my drink. I was then served my drink as ordered. This location does NOT accept the Starbucks Rewards card, so beware. As for my coffee, the barista and manager were not rude. I think my initial drink rejection was more a training issue, rather than a refusal to serve my drink as ordered. My latte was served correctly and I will return one more time to this Starbucks in about two weeks when I pick my daughter up at camp. /s/ William E. Lewis Jr., Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

All of the employees have no clue how to bag, including management. Raw chicken and beef do not go in the same bag as fruits and vegetables. This seems like common sense to me, but it has been the same way for years. I try to bag myself, but then I get harassed to let the employees do their job. The regional manager was visiting one night and was bagging my groceries. I stop him after he put 3 half gallon juices in one bag and didnt even bother to double bag. I had to ask him 4 times to stop touching my groceries, getting less nice about it after each ask. He literally hovered over me and watch over my shoulder as I finished bagging. Today, after getting home with crushed bread, raw meat mixed with produce, and overstuff bags with splits down the sides (nothing new, just sick of it), I called and spoke with the "customer service manager" who didnt identify herself by name. I told her how unhappy I was with the consistently poor bagging. She seemed less than concerned. So I followed up with, "Do your baggers receive any training?" She said, "They dont watch videos or anything if thats what you mean." If you care about the possibility of salmonella, listeria, food poisoning, crushed groceries, or grocery bags that break when you bring them in the house since they are overstuffed, you may want to watch your bagger or bag groceries yourself.

What a joke. Two idiots in the sub/hot food area watch someone cut in front of me, serve him first, then ask me if Ive been helped. I start to speak and the lady tells me that the girl helping the other guy will help me. WHAT IS THE POINT OF ASKING ME FOR HELP IF YOURE GOING TO RUN AWAY? I guess they didnt want my money that bad. I know Im just a drop in the bucket for Mr. Robert P. Ingle II (and his million dollar salary), but if I were Justin (the proclaimed deli manager), I would be utterly embarrassed that I employ utterly incompetent idiots with horrid customer service skills. If I wanted to overpay for stuff, wait for a half hour and get treated horribly, theres Harris Teeter, or the hipster snobs at Fresh Market/Earth Fare etc.

I believe some of the people reviewing this store may intend to review the other Ingles near by. I am from out of town so maybe I am in the wrong. However this Ingles is amazing!!! Its huge and has selections I believe beat Walmart!!! The isles go on forever with so much to offer! Its clean and well organized. Staff is wonderful as well. The have the Starbucks and deli counter. They have cold buffet bars and ice cream and gelato they serve. It has everything you need right in front of you. And nearly every register was open!!!

Wow, there are a lot of computer generated bogus "web bot" posts here.Agree with last post, the deli and staff are great and the big guy manager, think his name is Anthony really is a waste of time. No matter what you tell him nothing gets done. And no matter when you go there , day or night, monday or sunday, the produce and fruit are rotting or allready bad. He should be ashamed but he seems to not care at all sooooo, just go to the one on Asheville highway or Harris Teeter which always has fresh produce.

We love Ingles - This Ingles is outstanding - the staff is inviting, and the selection is top shelf... We do not have an Ingles within 25miles of our home near Charlotte, so every trip to the area we stop in to see what new selections might be available. Staff is available to answer questions, and in the event they dont know - they go the extra effort to find an answer or someone that does know! That type of character speaks volumes to a person...

Its the best Ingles in my opinion, I like it better than the new one at the other end of Spartanburg Hwy. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The produce selection is outstanding and the deli serves great food and feature Boars Head cold cuts. The salad and olive bar is awesome and you will be hard pressed to find a bigger beer and wine section anywhere.

How about have someone check the produce!!!! Time after time, bad tomatoes, grapes, fruit. The organic spring mix has to he checked as it will most likely be rotting. I notice the 2 male managers standing at the front all the time shooting the breeze when the could be doing a little quality controll. This store is run down compared to the Ingles by Walmart!!

Deli is the only good area. If you take the manager Anthony out of Ingles all together we will have better quality. Produce is always rotten and or rotting! He doesnt care as my friend in produce said he told them to let the "customer" decide whats bad!!!!! Wow, what a POS. Well, the customers are deciding to go to another store, thats how you fix that.....

Good selection of foods. Lack of tech magazines, quality import beers over $3/bottle, and a miserable tech selection. A flash drive (8GB) costs $13 there. Ridiculous. Anyways, nothing in specialty thats worth noting, and the prices are alright, but only if you use an Ingles Advantage Card.
