Very disappointed. Poor decorating quality of my Dads 70th surprise birthday cake. I came into bakery and spoke with a young lady, which was very polite, and the decorator. We went over all details and I confirmed the forest camo design that I preferred for a wrap on the round cake. I was so excited about the cake and how unique it was going to be. On April 23rd, the day of the party, I went to pick up the cake to find the forest camo design had PURPLE streaks on it!!! I questioned it and was told, " this is how it printed out." Not happy.......so they took the cake and over sprayed the purple with green. The cake still had purple near the top, the edges of the wrap did not meet, and the green over spray was on the white border of the bottom of the cake, but I only had 1 1/2 hours before the party so I didnt have the choice but to take the cake as is. I did have them take the cake and just spray the bottom border ALL green so it wouldnt look like the mistake it was. The manager was not very receptive to my frustration she only kept repeating...."This is how it printed out".........Honestly i did not care that their printer did not print correctly due to the cost that i was paying and it was very obvious that the wrap was purple and they still continued making the cake this way. This cake was special ordered to my fathers life hobbies and my disappointment was enormous. I will never order another cake for my special occasions, stop in for lunch or purchase bakery goodies ever again after years of doing so.

I had to make a purchase from out of state. I wanted to get something for my sisters birthday. I was not familiar with bakeries in the area, and I spoke with a relative that recommended Moreno Bakery. I was paying with a credit card, so I wasnt sure if they would even accept the order. I was greeted on the phone by Kelly. She was very upbeat, and very friendly. Very Bubbly to be exact. She was able to assist me with my needs, and I explained what was going on with the purchase. She was an absolute charm. (Note to Owner: Keep this one, she is worth it!) It dawned on me that I had given the incorrect card to Kelly, so I phoned back, and she cheerfully accepted the new card. Thank you so much for making my sisters birthday a success, and thank you so much for dealing with all of my headaches. A special Thank You goes out to Kelly. She definitely went above and beyond! I will stop in when I get to town. I have to meet all of you!

I saw their ads on TV, and wanted a Cuban Sandwich. I went out of my way to go there. The girl behind the counter told me it was 6 dollars for a 9 inch Cuban Sandwich, or 9 dollars for a 12 inch Cuban! I was caught completely off guard by the excessive prices they want for their Cuban Sandwiches. I refused to buy one, even though I was very hungry. I grabbed a Cranberry Scone, and a loaf of Pumpernickel Bread. The Cranberry Scone was just average. The Pumpernickel Bread was bland and tasteless. I have had better Pumpernickel Bread from Grocery Stores. Service was very good, I was in and out quick. I did tell the girl I thought the prices they wanted for Cuban Sandwiches were excessive, She was very polite, and said she did not make the prices. She and another girl did tell me that I was not the only one who walked out, when told the crazy prices of their Cuban Sandwiches.

All I can say is this: on one side there is a continuous row of prepared foods that is very much like a deli. On the other side is A continuous row of delicious desserts Think pastries, with cream cheese and fillings etc. Hey Im a guy that needs to lose weight so its probably good thing I dont work there although I think I would love to. I sampled a really good pastry that had cream cheese in it And I had a meat empanada and a spinach empanada. The crust was so good and was slightly sweet. I think I like the meat empanada the best. I hope I can go back there tonight when we go over to purchase a car went to look at today. I really cant wait to go back and its a nice place just to hang out if you have some time to do that. I would certainly find something good for dinner and I would definitely get dessert. I will update it if we go there tonight.

Sandwiches are great here, but this review is about their hot table meals. For $10, you get one meat and two sides. If one of your sides is arroz con gandules, prepare to be insulted by an additional $2.50 upcharge because the rice has some pork chunks in it. The roast pork was very boring and the morro rice was flavorless. If you are going to charge this much for a dish, at least give me a better pork with maybe some crunchy pork skin, which is the delicacy of the pork. Other restaurants around town which offer similar menu items provide far more food and far better tasting offerings for much less money. I would seriously consider adjusting your price points if you want to remain competitive. You have not yet nailed the flavors yet on either rhe rice or the pork. Having said all of this, the cuban sandwich here is the best I have ever had.

This is my 4th visit and 2 of the times was to return my sandwich order because they put ham instead of turkey. The women preparing the sandwiches do not speak English and they had to find someone to explain what I wanted and they still got it wrong. The girls taking the orders speak English ,so I guess they want to make sure they get your money. Its not about the culture ,its about the quality of the service, so get someone who is fluent in both languages. I know somewhere else I can go and get quality authentic sandwiches and never have to make another visit because my order is wrong. Its called Brocados and Alessis . You get better quality and the price is right. Try them you will love the food. The devil crabs at Brocados are out of this world.

everything I ever bought was absolutely delicious and the prices were very reasonable.....I am totally addicted to the Russian Coffee Cake....Brandon is so fortunate to have a New York quality bakery.....I bring all my out of town guests here for desserts......always visited their bakery when they were next door to Romanos as well....the service is patient and extremely curtious always....they explain all the ingredients that go into each pastry.and tell me their favorites as well as the more popular ones.......no, I dont work there and I am not related to anyone there.....perhaps France, Denmark, and Germany may be able to compete.....signed: a very satisfied customer.....(-:

Ordered my sons First Birthday cake here. Day before I got a call that they wouldnt be able to do my order as they were very behind on a large order behind mine. I ordered this cake 6 weeks in advance! My wife ended up having to try and make the best Mickey Mouse cake she could make.(we spoke to the owner (cake baker) about this matter, never have i had someone be so rude to us) We also got Cuban sandwiches for work from Morenos once. Can you say disgusting! Not pressed correctly, had mayo and the pork was NOT fresh (tasted reheated) Dont waste your time or money here. Way overpriced for your hard earned money!
