Why in Gods name would you bring something so ratchet and tacky at this place to the heart of our beautiful city this is the epicenter a very respected place Management brought the same Midnight Diner mentality the security at the door is ridiculous and has no business dealing with customers I thought I was getting ready to research to go in a club but my service was awesome Tee great the food was awesome the place is spotless and clean it made me forget the bull crap at the door until it was time to leave my survey wrote paid and signed my check that wasnt good enough for the two big guys at the door they sent me back to get a red stamp as if there were going to force me to stay because they had other people to run off on the check I say again you brought that ratchet mentality to the heart of our beautiful city it would have been better for you increase your food prices to offset some of your losses smh

Ive experienced very poor customer service in several restaurants but NEVER have I experienced a restaurant that demands you to clean up someones else regurgitation as 2 employees stand by and watch and hand you the towels especially after 2am when you should know most of your customers are intoxicated. Do not come here or any of their chains for that matter (Ie, midnight diner) if youre looking for customer service except for the waitress Stephanie! They dont care to provide the service that they are being paid to do and being on a premier location uptown, they wont last and Ill make sure I tell everyone I know. Spread the word!

Im standing in line waiting to be seated while there are 6 tables open. Why you ask? The kitchen is backed up because they have too many orders coming in at one time. Well, its easy. You hold open the tables until the kitchen can catch up. Then you seat those open tables all at one time. They then put in orders all at one time guess what? The kitchen gets overwhelmed again. One would think this obvious. Listening to the apparent manager lecture the hostess not to seat anyone, its VERY clear he doesnt understand. Came for the crunchy French toast. Left because of the inept manager and whacked out system of seating.

My friends and I always eat at Midnight diner but decided we wanted to try something different. So we looked up other diners in the area and chose to eat at Red Eye on Thursday. When we first walked in the door we were greeted with a smile and the vibe was cool. So we sat down and our waitress, Cat, I believe was her name was great! Very out going and seems like she loves her job(thats hard to find these days). We ordered our food and it was just as great. Cat continuously checked on us and made it feel like we were just as important as everyone else! We will definitely be back and will only sit in her section.

The first time I went, the food was good but the service was terrible. The second time I went, the food and service was good. Tried to make an order over the phone the 3rd and 4th time. 3rd attempt left me on the phone listening to the employees argue about who was going to take my order for several minutes. The 4th time, nobody answered the phone. Its really unfortunate that the service is HORRIBLE bc it has the potential to be a fun environment and the food is good. My family just moved down here and I recommended Red Eye...but we are big on customer service so I had to retract that recommendation. Sad

Regulars of Midnight coming to Red Eye just as often, Ive noticed something. Theres a level of quality here (both locations, actually). The individual items on the menu at least reliably appear to be chosen based on the flavor combinations with their fried chicken, and the recipe for their chicken seems to be based on how best to pair it with the sweet heat of traditionally southern waffles n chicken. The person (or people) planning the prep for the food knows what he/she/they is/are doing, and you can get that your food is going to come together to an awesome eating experience.

There are so many other places you could buy a decent meal. First, we encountered an impatient server. Second, I ordered the Firecracker Shrimp Dinner and my friend ordered the Chicken Tenders and Fries and it was underwhelming to say the least. The sauce on the shrimp was unbearably sweet and they had the nerve to serve us cold french fries. When I asked for a replacement, we received attitude from the server as well as the manager. Overall, this restaurant fell miles short and I will NEVER dine there again.

So I came in for a 2nd time. My 1st experience wasnt so good but my 2nd experience was outstanding. My server I think was lucky or jasmine. Im not sure because my ticket said jasmine. She was the sweetest soul Ive met in my life. Not only was my food fresh and hot, she had given me the best customer service ever. I dont know how yall do these things but in my opinion she deserves a raise. I look forward to spending the word about the great food and service at red eye diner!! Thanks!!!

Restaurants near the convention center should be prepared for events and people from out of town! Apparently this one wasnt since they quit serving milkshakes after we got seated. Service was friendly and surprisingly quick. We had to use plastic silverware since they ran out of the standard metal. Food was standard, nothing special. Unfortunately, there was some patrons that had come in and was causing a ruckus, so we decided to leave as soon as we could.

Overall underwhelming. Food would have been great except it came out barely warm after waiting a while for it. Biggest issue is by far the jukebox. Not sure if it lets users set the volume or if its just set to be loud but it was more than annoying. This isnt a club setting so the bass shouldnt be drowning out conversations with friends. Other than that it was pretty good. Nice aesthetics & friendly, accommodating service staff.

Friendly gentleman server with a neat accent - wish I could remember his name. Clean and has a vintage vibe (duh... Diner). Issues : music gets switched to hip hop/rap at night and it ruins the diner throwback for me. Also, limited milkshake options and all were subpar. If you are going with a short list, you should really nail each one. Chicken and waffles were the worst - bony wing portions that tasted of old fryer oil. Gross.

I walked in this restaurant and was not immediately greeted, we were told to sit and a table that was dirty then told by the staff to just have a seat at the bar. When we waited about 5-6 minutes to be greeted.. Everyone appeared to be busy cleaning, or simply by passing us.. When we were finally greeted, it was a half hearted greeting.. Food was pretty good but service lacked greatly..

I stopped by here yesterday during my break and might I say that this is the quickest service Ive ever had. Most of us have a 30 minute break and whenever we go to get food, we dont get it until 5 minutes before we have to be back. When I came in here, I was greeted, sat, and served all in 15 minutes. It was great and I may have to start coming here more often for my breaks!
