Had a pretty bad experience, sat down and my bread plate had cheese on it from the last guests appetizer. Not a huge deal, I get it, sometimes the dishwasher doesnt get it all, no biggy. Ordered a sirloin steak med rare and the steak came out looking like it touched the grill for about 15 seconds on each side, pretty sure it still had a pulse. Sent it back and it came back to me well done and tough, same steak too, not a new one. Finally once we recieved the check (which was full price even with the dirty plate and poorly cooked steak, whatever Im not gonna make a stink about it), I go to pay the bill and give an extra .25 cents to get even cash back instead of a pocket full of coin and the waitress takes it but does not put the .25 towards the bill, so she comes back with my change and a ton of coin, she completely didnt ring in the extra .25 I gave her. Just an overall very bad experience which is unfortunate because we have been to other Texas roadhouses and had a great experience. Management has some work to do, until then we will not be back.

I wont judge all Texas roadhouse restaurants by this one, but if you get a takeout you better be sure that you have silverware receipt napkins and possibly some of your food there or not. . Not only was I frustrated having sent my husband out from our motel room when we were on vacation in Asheville, not feeling like going out, only did we have to go out once but twice in order to pick up silverware from Hardees and napkins because they neglected to put any in our bags. When I called and told the person who said his name was Nate and he was the manager, he acted not only unappogetic, but acted as if it was my husbands responsibility to check behind his staff, by asking me did the server girl request we check the bag. But if he had of not only would he have noticed those things but he pitiful little portion for a very expensive salad. Obviously wont eat there again. But what I want to know is , is this like so many other restaurants, that just has their people and employees writing reviews in order to get a 4 star????? Hmmmm?

Do not eat at this steakhouse!!!!!! Waited 1 hr and 15 min to be seated..typical for a Friday nite. It was was 20 minutes before anyone came to the table. No introduction or apologies. . Clearly irritated when taking drink orders we opted to order meal as well. No refills at all were given or offered. My steak was burnt not medium as ordered. No courtesy for the mistake. When asked to correct the mistake. .30 minutes had passed and still no steak....it was forgotten. Poor, poor service. Dont be fooled by the positive reports. Not worth the wait...nor the money for yhe food. Longhorn Steakhouse on Tunnel Road is soooooo good. Never a bad experience with tasty food. This is not the first time something likeso has happened at This Texas Roadhouse which is why I wright this review! Go elsewhere.

Well then. I guess Im going to be the bad guy here looking at the reviews. My experience was less than stellar. My steak was supposed to be medium, it was rare...well not even rare yet. More like he took it out, put it on the grill for 12 seconds, and then put it on the plate. I dont know if my cook got confused and thought he was seering a tuna, but thats what it felt like. The only thing the two stars are for are the service, the waitress was really nice about everything, and the other star is for the blooming onions. Nobody can mess up blooming onions...at least I dont think? Prove me wrong world. I acknowledge that my experience was significantly poorer than most. Perhaps it was an isolated event. But it only takes one time to lose a customer forever in the restaurant game.

This food is like love for sale. The most incredible service for first-time patrons Ive ever seen, including a free sampler platter of their most popular side dishes, such as excellent mashed potatoes and the first baked bean recipe Ive ever liked. Id love to be able to buy this platter as an appetizer. Im a burger fiend, and the Roadhouses classic burger is the best Ive yet had in Asheville. The pulled pork dinner and house barbecue sauce are wonderful, and the country fried steak is almost bigger than the plate. Ive been back at least four times, and have never had a problem with service. The only downside to the restaurant is its odd parking lot, which can be a bear to get out of when the place is busy, but come off-rush and its no problem.

This steak house restaurant has friendly service from the greeting upon arrival to the manager coming around to make sure every thing is good. The waiters and waitresses are friendly, helpful and willing to accommodate you with full knowledge of their job. There is lively country music, birthday announcements with public participation, sports tv viewed from the bar and more. I have been many times and never had a bad experience. I will note it is hard to get in and out of the location. It is very accessible from interstate 40. Please be aware there is fresh peanuts on every table in case you have an allergy. They fresh cuts daily so you can get 6 oz on menu or special a 24 oz. Hot rolls with all meals. FREE refills on tea, sodas, coffee.

It has been many years since Ive been to one so tonight I wasnt really anticipating another more than other chains. Was I ever wrong. Picked a ribeye from the display case, cooked medium rare perfectly and needed nothing else on it, 100% perfect. Seasoned rice was fair... A little too moist so more like a scoop of rice but the flavor was ok. Side salad was a personal favorite of restaurant side salads, good croutons, fresh lettuce, a good cheddar and some crumbled boiled egg, excellent ranch. Hurricane drink, patron extra and it was a great sipper during the meal. Would have got a good glass of wine but way over priced per glass. Perfect service. Highly pleased.

This place use to be my favorite place in Asheville! But last night we had a bad experience! It was my husbands bday, my brother in law and his wife came here from Germany. We thought it would be a great night! First the salad was wrong ask for no eggs. Well there were eggs. We could live with that. Then steaks were supposed to be covered in mushrooms! No mushrooms on either one of the steaks. Then my step sons food was never ordered by the server! It took 15 minutes to get his food. Guess what it was the wrong burger! How about as we were leaving here comes his burger! We got the bill and were charged for 2 samplers! Im totally over this place!

We went here to eat a good dinner but what we ended up with was not food although it appeared to resemble such. Delmonico steak was overcooked full of fat and grissle with no flavor. The center sirloin came out bloody ordered med rate sent back returning burnt on outside still rate garlic mashed potatoes no garlic Chopped steak was overcooked so bad could not chew it Manager was not concerned about it offer ed nothing but a sorry hope you come back. Btw no aarp, no veterans discount except Mondays. Prices are high sevice is bad mgmt does not care Eat at waffle house is a lot better and it wont cost $ 100.00 like it did us
