OMG, every time I visit this place my orders is guaranteed to be 100% wrong. I stop eating from there because of that, but I gave them a benifiet of the doubt hoping they changed. My order was completely wrong and I found a orange plastic bread tie in my chicken sandwhich which I had choked on. Thank God it was me eating it and not my grandmother. I gave her another sandwhich and I took that one. OMG, if we would had to call 911 and had to do CPR for chocking because of that I would be so dang pissed off. I then called the GM of the store and he just wanted to give me another sandwhich. I am sorry, are you kidding me!!!!!!! If that was my grandmother whom received that sandwhich and chocked, please dont worry about replacing that sandwich because I would have my attorneys on your butts. This place is a disgrace. It does not matter what time of the day you visit they always have tooooo manyyyy mistakes. This is a very yet bad place to eat at. After so many complaints why have they not tried to change. I will never in my life go back or my family or friends. Gave a benifiet of a doubt after a year and turned out to be worst. Please get your act together.

I make better at home... And cheaper too! Grill at Wal-Mart: $20.00 Charcoal 2 bags: $19.00 (Good for 40 uses!) Charcoal Fluid: $2.50 Hot dogs: $.99 Hamburger: $19.98 (10 pounds... Makes 50 burgers.) After startup costs... I can make burgers, fries, and hotdogs for less than 3.00 per meal... Cook out is good if you want your order screwed up... High priced hotdogs, and burgers with nothing on them unless you specifically ask for each item... XD Do yourself a favor... Invest in a grill.

The food is good and certainly beats McDonalds, but double-check your order. They will mess something up. (E.g., remembering the 10c tomato.) The fries are hot and fresh. The tea is caffeinated. Its the type of place that has a bible quote on the styrofoam cup and where the blue collar workers stop for lunch. Its also open in the middle of the night (why?) Regardless, the small outside eating area was clean. I did not use their bathrooms, so I dont know how clean they are.

I go here all the time and EVERY TIME, without fail, my order is wrong. It isnt complicated, just a couple of burgers and some fries. If I dont check it before I drive away, I will go home disappointed. This would be forgivable if I didnt have to wait for five minutes before someone even responded to me when I was supposed to place my order. Im not usually one to post reviews, especially not bad ones, but its high time this place improved. Its giving cook out a bad name.

I feel like Im robbing the place every time I go. The prices are EXTREMELY reasonable. I always go overboard and stuff myself. Everything is really good and the service is nice and even being as popular as it is, the service is fast too! Only draw back is you get the occasional rough group of people you just dont care to make eye contact with. Overall Superb.

Food here used to be better. They dont seem to care anymore. Went there last night, and the cashier was so rude about a substitution that I left empty handed and frustrated. Called the manager who basically just said "Yea, sorry. I know who that is and he shouldnt have said that." Gee thanks, management!

Cookout is the best in Asheville, hands down. Inexpensive with a wide variety of different tasty combinations on your tray so that you could go every day for a week and not eat the same meal. Love the inside at Patton and the central location of Tunnel Road...if you havent yet, do your gut a favor and go!

What happened to the quality? I had given a 5 star review but the last 3 times I ate here the food did not taste as good. Ingredients werent as fresh and the bun was almost soggy. Its still better than McDonalds but maybe not as awesome as Five Guys.

When you order onion rings there should be more than 4. In addition the entire purpose of a corn dog, is to eat it on a stick. When they break the stick off while cooking its just a battered hot dog with a wooden center surprise.
