NOT A SONIC FAN! Nor all-beef lunchmeats of any type! Beef can make me ill so always a risk. But there are those times you just have to have a HOT DOG! So I head to SONIC. Primarily because its simply there. Secondly, because I like Sauerkraut and PALs doesnt have sense enough to offer it as a special! So that being said, I particularly like the NEW YORK STYLE DOG and occasionally the CHICAGO STYLE (which was removed) and less often the ALL-AMERICAN DOG. Pricing: Typical. Nothing new there. Locations: Convenient Wait Time: Less then 15 min. (Nite) & 30 min. Weekend Days I would say. Staff: Usually nice & attentive! But at nite watch out! May get less friendly attitude + badly overcooked food that looks ok but tastes like YUCK! But great place to stop, grab a quick bite to hold you over before running home to cook an entire meal for family! Also great place to stop & make a few business calls, catch up with friends in privacy of car, or chat with a friend, or just relax a minute before heading to a stressful house full of people! Either way the DRIVE-IN & PARK concept will never lose its appeal and probably just for those reasons I just cited above.......Never Mind the Quality of the Food, LOL! Just being able to roll down your windows in a safe spot and sit in your own vehicle + eat + conversate + take a few calls....HEY!

It was decide today was a burger and onion ring day, it been cold and we are just feeling lazy, beside we hardly eat fast food, This was the first time eating from this particular Sonic on the East side of Kingsport, (East Stone), my fiance and I both loved it, everything was perfect, our orders and the quality ,even down to my extra mayo, by far surpasses pur expirence with the west side store, in which we have had one problem after another back in 2012, so bad we stopped going to it and any other until today. The last visit at the west side store we waited 35 minutes for our order, when we received after repeated requests it was cold and even the buns were hard, we noticed the employees were serving and visiting their freinds who were sitting outside at the tables before customers who there before them, . The east side is a great store and will continue to get our buisness, as for the west, never again .

Their burgers are better than BK, McD, and DQ. They have good onion rings and Ice creams, blasts sundaes, and whatnot. Prices are a bit higher than other places. However the drinks are way too expensive. I ALWAYS regret when I stop and just get a tea. They charge 3-4 times more for a tea than anywhere else and God forbid you ask for extra lemon. They charge you per each slice of lemon. That wouldnt be so bad if they didnt charge 3-4 bucks for a tea. So if youre out and about and just want a soda, tea, or slush, just drive on by and stop at a gas station or any other fastfood place that wont gouge you. Service is usually pretty good. They have great bagged ice.

We ordered about an hour ago. Was not happy. When we recieved our food, we realized that they had given us an entirely different sandwich than what we had ordered, and to boost it was made poorly with very little ingredients on it. After a while, I started noticing ice cream on my clothes and then found a giant hole in the bottom of my custard concrete. This was our day to eat out because we cant ever afford to, and then we get this. Probably will not be eating at Sonic again.

The food was cold twice!! I got my money back!! I was on stone drive sonic.. My carhop was excellent her name is Ashley.. She took excellent care of us.. Please do better on your food being hot for your customers!!!
