I just moved to Asheville from Charlotte with multiple years as a Chick-Fil-A employee. I know all of the rules, tricks and tips. This was my first visit to the Merrimon Ave location for breakfast. Beautiful restaurant. I approached the counter and gave my order. The girl at the register did not repeat it back to me, nor did I get a receipt. She quickly made my drinks and grabbed her stuff and clocked out to leave. My order was given to me by the manager on duty. The first thing I noticed is that my yogurt was stored with the hot food (a major no-no unless you like spoiled milk). Second my order was off. I ordered an egg and cheese bagel and an egg and cheese biscuit. They gave me 2 chicken egg and cheese bagels. I walked back to the counter to confront them and employees walked by but no one payed attention to me. After telling them what was wrong, they took back the two wrong bagels and placed them back on the rack to serve to the next customer who orders it (no-no #2, health code violation...food temperature has dropped and cross contamination...they dont know where my hands have been). They corrected my order but failed to find a receipt to see what was wrong. Bagels cost more than biscuits and there is a significant discount when you order something without chicken so I was overcharged. The manager on duty did not care to fix that, and instead sent me on my way. Now Im stuck with warm yogurt, a watered-down cold coffee and less money in my pocket than I should have. Honestly the Chick-Fil-A located in the Asheville mall has better service than this one.

Too many bad customer service experiences at this Chick Fil A recently! Come on guys....Chick Fil A is suppose to be such a great place with great food and good service you guys are ruining it. This was just a little thing today, but not the first bad experience recently. I ordered a Large drink in the Drive Thru with my meal. When I was handed a Medium drink at the Drive Thru window I told the lady I ordered a Large and her response was "oh well you were only charged for a Medium" and walked away from the window. I said well I ordered a Large and would like to receive what I ordered even if I had to pay the extra. There was no response...she turned around with our bag of food and wished us a nice day. So good on ya CFA! You didnt get ripped off on giving me a large drink when YOUR EMPLOYEE charged me for a medium or bother to take a few mins to make it right! Now you have a car group of unimpressed customers who will think twice before continuing to spend our money where we have had bad experiences.

litteraly the dumbest staff Ive ever come across, first employee couldnt confirm the address and the second one repeatedly asked me about the catering order that was printed in front of him (order I hadnt placed to begin with I was simply an errand boy for a bridal party) that i was picking up while repeatedly rubbing his mouth acne and handling my food. most chik fil as are busy enough to have lots of food under heat lamps and get it out quickly enough while its still hot, this place was a ghost town and I was served chicken minis that were litteraly crusted over and stone cold. worst chic fil a in history glad to know most people in Asheville are forward thinking ebough to not support this homophobic establishment, avoid at all costs

We stopped here at 8:15pm on a Monday and they had just cleaned and mopped the bathrooms and 75% of the dining area. (why clean up 2 hours before closing?? Plus, we were there for at least 30 minutes and they were still cleaning) Seating areas were blocked off so we ended up sitting next to some college-aged girls...well apparently they knew the CFA employees since 2 of them came over constantly and chatted. That just seemed unprofessional. Even though they didnt have many customers in the store, it seemed more like a Friday night high school hangout with the employees. Also I ordered the Cobb salad and received the Southwest salad. The French fries didnt taste fresh and nuggets were cold. Im very disappointed in our first visit here.

My stomache is killing me now 4 hrs. I was tired got off work and made a bad choice to get their food. I ordered a BBQ sandwhich but they gave me someones old special order of a spicy chicken sandwhich no lettuce. I was tired ans did nit want to deal with going back and getting it fixed. OMFG I AM IN HELL.i am living on my toliet. Either the sandwhich was nasty old...i cant handle the apicy food ..or my fear is food posining. I hope by morning this is gone or i am going to ER and calling their store and corporate. I have never had this much pain from eating anything. I will never go near there again and will advise all my friends to avoid.

Took my wife and baby girl to this location. I was really surprised at how filthy it was. Not one single clean table in the dining area. There were only 3 of the tables occupied and a handful of employees at the front counter with customers being waited on. We left without even ordering due to the place looking in such rough shape. Its really too bad because Chick Fil A is usually such an amazing customer oriented franchise. We were really looking forward to the food but the dining area made is rethink our decision. Maybe the drive thru is a better option, that way I wont have any concept of how gross the place is on the inside.

We stopped in at 3:00 today. No one was in line ahead of us, but there were cars in the drive thru. We ordered two vanilla shakes and two small waffle fries. The fries came out in about five minutes. We waited another seven minutes for the shakes. Of course by then the fries were cold. There was no toilet paper in one of the bathroom stalls. We had not been to this location for awhile because we dont eat anywhere that does not have at least a 95 sanitation grade. We went today because the grade went from 94 to 97.5. Now the service needs to come up a notch too. .

I give 5 stars for the service, however, Id have to give 3 stars for my order constantly being messed up! The last 4-5 experiences have produced bad tea, diet soda and overdone food. Its just an order for 2 people and I feel the attention to detail has lacked in these recent visits. Update: my husband just discovered they didnt give him the half dozen cookies he ordered. We dont eat out too often. Our splurges have been here. Money down the drain. Wont be back for a while.

Always a great experience. The managers are very helpful and the food is fresh, NOT under heat lamps like SOME people apparently want. I can tell the previous poster is a liar because Chic-fil-A does not use heat lamps. That is the first indicator they have never actually been to one. As for the inappropriate screed about personal convictions at the end, I guess we know that that review should be removed because it is a malicious Ad Hominem and fake.
