I am writing this review concerning a Chinese restaurant by the name of China Garden, in White Plains, NY. This restaurant is well-known to many diners in its vicinity, and is successful in business from what I can see. Although, I would like to disclose to you that this restaurant in operation is overwhelmingly unsanitary to prepare and serve food to its consumers. I have concluded my statement that China Garden is an unhygienic environment to prepare and serve food through my fairly recent visits to the restaurant. From the visits, I have witnessed that the kitchen of China Garden is terribly germ-ridden and I suspect that the managers and employees rarely performs the necessities of cleaning their kitchen equipment, floors, tables and such. In addition, they leave their boxes of iced broccoli in the mop sink to melt and they prepare food in their three-compartment sink. As you may know, a three-compartment sink is only for washing purposes, not for preparing food. However it does not end there, as I am confident to say that their basement is rodent-infested as I managed to see a couple of rats in the restaurant’s kitchen during my visits. This is a nauseating fact to deal with. With these issues in mind, this restaurant is awfully disgusting. I could never imagine a restaurant as disturbingly unclean as this.

I wish there is a compation My rating: Cleanness - 1 star out of 5 Taste – 2.2 star out of 5 Price – 3 star out of 5 Staff – 3 star out of 5 The restaurant drastically needs to improve cleanness. The place is laterally dirty. I unknowingly phone ordered from this restaurant one time. The food was mediocre when compared to other Chinese restaurants like (Taste of China in Tarrytown & Empire Chinese Restaurant in Hawthorne). On the other hand, price is reasonable when compared to lateral restaurants. I dined in the restaurant next time. THE PLACE IS DIRTY. The managements MUST improve cleanness. Lastly, I was fortunate enough to see the garbage pile the had put on the curb on an early morning ( 6 AM). The outside of the garbage can was filthy with nauseating foul order with flies (which remended me of MicoBio - looking for the unknown!!!). I understand the garbage is not suppose to smell good but the management needs to use proper techniques while disposing waste. I wish there is reasonable restaurant in White Plains similar to Taste of China in Tarrytown. I would pay that extra $2 for my food.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!! Food took 1 1/2 to be delivered and when I called the restaurant to see the status of it, the cashier started arguing and yelling at me "YOU DID NOT ORDER AN HOUR AGO!!!". I had to show the delivery boy my call blog 8:15 (ordered placed) - 9:40 (ordered delivered). I obviously canceled it. Its Chinese food, it shouldnt take more than 40 minutes

Horrible, I orderd the lunch special sesame chicken with pork fried rice and recvied rock hard chicken with no sauce or sesame seeds on it and yellow plain rice with about 3, 1 centemeter pieces of pork in it with no flavor, inside is completly disgusting, and will advise to stay away.

Even that I did not set high standard in White Plains for Chinese food, but this one still cannot meet my lowest expectation. I wont be there again and I would prefer Pizzahut in Target if I must eat something.

Wasted 10 minutes in there for an order that i asked for that they said they make. After 10 minutes im told no they dont have it. Check your online menu idiots remove what you dont make from it.

China Garden is your standard Chinese food place. It is not dirty, but kind of run down so I dont recommend eating there. Bottom line... The food is tasty, and the price is very reasonable.

Ordered for delivery and they took 2 hours for the food to be delivered! When the food finally arrived it was too cold, lets just say I wont be ordering from that restaurant again.
