My wife and myself took a trip from Queens all the way to Westchester County to eat in this restaurant based on the reviews and to meet a couple of friends who lived in the area. Honestly, the food was just ok. It is, and never will be good as the original Spicy Shallot in Queens. I was disappointed they did not have the Pearl Harbor like the original one. The Pad Thai was good so I have to give them that. The waitress who served us looked like she had no personality. They were prompt with the food which was good. After all, we were the ONLY customers in the whole restaurant. Why should I drive 45 minutes to eat Thai Food when the best is only 5 minutes away from me? Next time I will tell my friends to come to Queens instead. :)

We went here looking for Bankok Thai. We were a little frightened that place was completely empty at 8pm on a Friday night, but happily we took a chance. The food was delicious and the service nice. We will go back again. For starters we had the Laab, which was a spicy, tangy delight. Massaman curry with vegatables is an excellent choice. We also had the wide noodle with pork, which had great flavor, but was a little greasy. All and all a great choice for local Thai food.

Ok guys, I love thai food believe me...and i used to go here as a teen. I took my cousin to impress her for a friendly thai eatery, until she got her complimentary salad with Peanut salad dressing ala COCKROACH!! The roach was bloated and flipped over - we showed the waitress the situation and she still made us pay for our meal. Im never going here again!!!!

Ive eaten at this restaurant a number of times. Its always good. Its family run and friendly. I think its the best tai food in the immediate area. Theyve recently remodeled, which is nice, but you usually enter from the parking lot in the back which requires walking down a hallway past the kitchen and bathrooms. Not much they can do about that I guess.

Went there for a Friday dinner. It has the typically delicious Thai food and a few other I had never tried. However, all the entrees I ordered comes in a smaller portion than what I had in other Thai restaurant. I had to add a third one and share it with my wife. Ultimately, they all taste good.

Ordered take out for the family, the food tasted great but the quantity was lacking. Comparing this place to Red lotus probably less than 10 minutes away the food is slightly less tasty but probably double the quantity. When im paying $70 for 4 meals I want to be full not just satisfied

We eat here regularly because we love the food and the people working here. The Thai specialties are excellent -- love the "por pia" and just about everything we have there. Families with kids are welcome. Its a family-run restaurant - warm greetings from the owner every time we go.

Decent Thai food but my parents live blocks from the original located in Elmhurst Queens. And that place is truly special with some delicious entrees and sushi rolls. This location pales in comparison.

Never have I had to doctor take out Thai food until I came here... sadly food isnt worth the price you pay. Really skimped on food and compensate with a big jar of sauce.. wont be back

Quality is decent, however, the portions are miniscule. You can get the same quality at lower prices at restaurants that are relatively close.

I order delivery only. I have sampled a fair amount of food in Thailand. This is the best Thai food I have found in any US restaurant.
