Ria has been reported to Google for hateful commenting where it is not rightfully deserved. This is a food establishment that became so busy, they bought out the adjoining stores. There are times like holidays and Sundays when you may have to wait on a line before seating. This place has established itself very well in town from patrons like poilticians, fire departments and police officers arriving here for their hunger needs, we boast willingly because not once in 20 years have I had to send anything back to their kitchen. I get better service here then a Diner. Say hello to miss Dotti for me. Although I moved to Westchester in NY I still drive out there hows that for a compliment?

Food is great but wont be visiting again because customer service was terrible. All staff accept for one waitress and the cashier were extremely rude. Food was barely touched and was thrown out while bringing 4 year old to bathroom. They were about to seat another party at our table. Staff exhibited much frustration toward us for their mistake. Only asked to feed child afterwards and bring two chocolate milks. One milk was brought to table which waitress filled to top, slammed on table, and walked away with milk spilled all over. Bill included omelette which 90% of it was thrown in garbage without consent.

I walked in to order to go and the woman at the counter completely ignores me and addressed the guy behind me. She starts carrying on a full conversation with the guy asking about his family etc. That would have been fine if she would of taken the time to at least say Ill be with you in one minute. Instead she completely ignored me for 2 minutes until she noticed that I was annoyed. By that time it was already too late I decided to leave. I felt as if I wasnt welcomed so I chose not to spend my money! Customer service is really not that difficult.

To the adolescents, if your going to be rude, insulting, just dont eat here. If you do not like quiet waitstaff, keep away from here, I will however indulge in the professionalism and meals sent out of this sanitary establishment. If your looking for male shovenists, go elsewhere.Crabby? Thats your flaw in character. Do you run to google about every exp you have? To slander a business. Have you ever worked for the food service industry, you know who you are. Right Ria?

This place has the BEST Breakfast sausage and eggs for breakfast .Has been for 30+ years. We frequented this place in our teens when attending West Hemstead High..... Actually just out of curiosity this morning checked to see if this place still EVEN existed... I will guarentee you I will stop in for breakfast when I am in NY this winter...

When your "mature" "serious" and want a peaceful place to eat breakfast or lunch, you want to be here. There could be times in the evening when other guests of an older age may speak a little louder from hearing loss, but I dont let that bother me. However the wait staff is amongst the finest you will ever find in the rest. Business.

Hate this place with a passion. Always force me to pay the tip with cash. I even tell them I want it on my card and they always say "oh our machine is broken". Or "Oh I swiped your card card its too late". Food is average but the business is stupid.

This is one of my all time favorite places to eat breakfast/lunch/or dinner. The food is fresh the price is affordable. The rice pudding is one of the best on the island. I go here whenever I get the chance. Excellent gyros too.

My all-time favorite Luncheonette, reminds me of my younger years with the counter. This place packs in on weekends, so you may have to wait to be seated. I drive 50-150 miles to eat here.
