I ordered some lunch to be delivered and when the delivery man was having trouble finding my home he called me to get directions. (We have ordered from this restaurant at least 8-10 times this year, and have never had anyone have trouble finding our home.) As I tried to help him he started yelling at me and telling me that I was giving him the wrong address... I told him that I gave him the correct address and that I did not appreciate how he was yelling at me and he hung up on me. I promptly called the restaurant, and spoke with the woman who answered the phone and the manager... they apologized but did not promise to do anything to fix the situation. The delivery man arrived as I was on the phone with the manager... and when I did not answer the door quickly enough he yelled at my closed door. At this point I felt unsafe, so I cracked the door and told him that I did not want the food anymore and that I was on the phone with his manager and looking angry, he took a step towards me! I told him to back up, that I did not want the food and that he could leave and I closed and locked the door. I told that manager we would never order from them again... I have never been treated this way when ordering food for delivery and could not believe how angry this man was... I felt unsafe. I will never order from them again and I advise other people to go elsewhere for their Chinese food!

The food here ranges from mediocre to good. There was no one dish I considered excellent. My wife and I would go to this place for lunch because the service was good and the price was right ($15 with tip for two). My experience with their delivery last night, though, has soured me on Empire Garden, and I wont be eating there again. I ordered two main dishes and two appetizers, and one of the dishes was delivered wrong. When I called to ask for a replacement, the woman who answered was stridently nasty right from the get-go, blamed me for the mix-up, and ultimately hung up on me (I did not yell at her). They obviously are not interested in retaining my business, so I will oblige them.

I used to order from this place very often but the food was too greasy and tasted weird so I stop ordering . Today I order because is Christmas Eve and did not have time to make a meal. WELL, they send me the wrong thing and when I called they told me that I order the other thing and that they will give me a credit. I dont want a credit. I will never go back to that place. I want my money back and I want them to take their food away. They also did not give me a receipt so Im going to have to fight this at the restaurant tomorrow, on Christmas Day . Do not go there.

MY FOOD WAS sooo GREASY!! Even my soup was greasy. My food was so greasy I had to wipe my lips after each bite!! Stale fortune cookies and plain general tso. Egg rolls were plain yuck!! The egg roll shell itself was very thin and slippery. i passed it over to someone that was hungry. My co workers and I ordered delivery and the driver stood there with his hand on hip(attitude) until he received his money then stormed out. Our experience overall was GREASY YUCKINESS!! The lady on the phone was nice tho.

this is my first review ever, i just couldnt let these other reviews stand. This very tiny restaurant - casual, food excellent (try their szechuan treasure - one of the best dishes on long island). Ive been going here about every other month for several years now and their food is consistent, service excellent. whoever wrote these other reviews wants to save this place for themselves. the restaurant is not elegant, but it appears clean, neat and the food is excellent.

This place used to be one of the last places you could get "authentic" chinese food. Used to be. Recently had take out from empire and it was a disappointment, to say the least. Gave it another try and dined at the restaurant and it wasnt any better. Too bad. But we have bad luck with chinese. Tried the highly-touted orient in hicksville and it wasnt nearly as good as people say. Thai is really the way to go these days. Until it gets "fast" too.

Best food my friends and I have had in a long time. Server offered a refill of crispy noodles. Thats a first for me. All around good experience. Recommend it to someone who still craves the Chinese Restaurant of old

I ordered the beef and broccoli from this place and the dish did not have enough sauce making it dry and greasy instead. The brown rice had an unusual odor too. Never going back there again!

A family favorite of ours. This is a great little spot with delicious foods. The dinner specials are great and my favorite is the triple flavors chicken. Definitely check it out.
